I had my boat trailer picked up in Auburn from Josh's shop, to get powder coated. Well, it should have been disassembled completely but it wasn't. You folks should have told me that they didn't do it and for a charge, you folks could do it and leave it in my hands to decide if I was going to pay for it to be done correctly. But instead it was powder coated as is. It took longer than I was told it was going to take, but that wasn't that huge of deal, good quality work is what I expected. read more

Got a fair deal and good turnaround time to have my dock ladder powder coated. It was "mill finish" so they had to sandblast and clean before they could apply the "hammered" black finish. Saved me $100+ over buying the ladder with the same finish. Courteous, timely and a fair price. read more

As a small business owner myself, I understand the difficulty of meeting everyone's needs when sometimes barraged with demand. I'm very disappointed! They quoted me $65 for my project on two separate occasions. After getting bids from $50 to $125 from their competitors, I went with C. T. Specialities. When I picked it up, it was $173. That's about 2 1/2 times more than their estimate. A lack of integrity for sure, and I felt disrespected as a customer. I don't mind paying a fair price for work, but I don't want to be "bait and switched". I won' go back. read more

If I could give no stars I would. This place is every customer's nightmare. Please do not give them your business!! Promising to have my chairs painted in 2 weeks, by the end of week 7 I finally went to retrieve them. In the meantime, I never received a phone call or an apology. In fact, phone demeanor was rude and unapologetic. At one point I was told personnel had been on vacation and they were behind (week 3). Then when I called I was told bigger projects had priority (week 4). The following week when I called, I was told they had started but couldn't finish until Monday. Calling Monday I heard "later in the week." Then - for sure next Friday. On Friday (weeks 7 to the day), I got this: "we haven't started." I collected the chairs (untouched) and took them to Olympia Powder Coat- half the price and will be done in a week. They were extremely pleasant and even took me to their workshop to examine completed projects. How do these clowns stay in business? read more

When I dropped off my parts to be powder coated, two employees (one was the owner I think) were arguing with a customer. It lasted for at least 5 minutes after I walked in he lobby, but it appeared it had been going on longer.....classy. When the customer walked out, the two employees began talking badly about the customer and the situation, for which I didn't need to know. I left my parts with the shop to be powder coated and they told me they'd call in about a week and a half. I left, then realized I needed the know the cost...they forgot to mention that. I walked back in and they said "around $80....or so." After not hearing from the shop for over three weeks, I went back to check on my parts. They were still on the lobby floor in the exact place I left them. The owner told me they were busy and didn't get around to them but they would "sometime soon." I told him I was going to take my parts and he said, "okay." No offer of apology.....nothing. His tone was really "matter of fact" during the entire 20 second conversation. I"ll add that I had other parts coated there and didn't have any issues other than they never give written estimates, they just guess on what the customer will get charged and the customer hopes the employee remembers and doesn't deviate from that price. Plenty of other options in local powder coating, I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more
