The fiasco…read morestarted with Robert Steffen many months ago when I took my classic auto in for a transmission leak. He kept it a while & then sent it back to me. The transmission still leaked, but it was a smaller leak. I had to take the car back again and it was now winter. I was assure that the car would be kept inside, in dry storage. Robert proceeded to take nearly 3 months to finish up- in the meantime, I was asking him what was going on and if my car was OK. He assured me it was just fine. And another bill for $1288.00 . When I picked the car up it was FAR FROM FINE - completely wet on the inside with mold and mildew growth, the headliner falling out, and panels ruined. Robert is unapologetic and obviously doesn't care that he ruined the interior of my nice classic vehicle. One of his first responses was " I guess I can't take nice cars here anymore!" I tried to file an insurance claim but my insurance doesn't cover that type of damage . It would be easy for Robert to step up and do the right thing; but obviously he doesn't care about the people that pay his wages. In addition, there were chips in my driver side door. Just to repair the basics, not the whole scope of damage his negligence caused is over $3000.00. I would be very careful and dealing with the shop and this man because he has zero integrity as a human being .

Job took multiple months instead of a couple days like they had initially said. They tried to overcharge me for doing bare minimum and caused immense amount of stress in the process due to their own poor management and organization. the owner tried to blame me for their problems and was extremely draining to interact with. They were very shady. Any good reviews are either paid for or are also from racist, sexist homophobic transphobic creeps. One of the absolute worst experiences in my life, they dropped the price because they knew I knew they were trying to mess me over. Thousands of dollars for a few small parts and crap labor and a lot of stress. I know what I am talking about and when a mechanic is gaslighting me and that's all the owner does. while carrying a gun And spewing hate. Was literally not safe at all owner is antagonistic and rude as ever.

I DO NOT recommend taking your vehicle to Schueler Automotive.They had my 2015 Silverado for over…read morea month and still did not fix the issue. I ended up having to take my Silverado back to the GM dealer where they found work done by Schueler Automotive that actually caused more issues with the truck. I originally brought the truck in for injector code issues. Schueler changed all 8 injectors, but it still showed the same injector codes and misfires . After a month with my truck they advised it was the ECU now but they could not fix it and advised me to take the truck to the GM dealer /service. So after the GM tech looked at it, they realized that Schueler had smashed parts of the wiring harness and also found chafed wires on the fuel injector harness where Schuler had used a pry tool to get the fuel injectors out, in turn frying the ECU. In addition, Schueler did not properly size the injector orings and the new injectors were leaking. So $3000 later at the GM dealer the truck was finally fixed. Schueler Automotive charged me $1800 for their shotty work and would not refund nor give me any discounts (per the owner) ,for their incomplete work then gave me a truck back that had more issues then when I brought it in for, in addition, to keeping it for a month with very little communication. I had to call multiple times to check on the progress, and no call backs for days sometimes. I highly recommend you take your vehicle somewhere else , I will NEVER use or recommend Schueler Automotive again. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Because the tire pressure is fine, they recommended that I not replace the sensors until I need my tires replaced. I took their recommendation. After a quick test drive and inspection. I was told that it was the engine mounts, and perhaps my VTec solenoid might be on its way out. After striking out after several calls I tried his shop. Rick the owner, a vet, was awesome. I explained what my needs were and he tracked down the right tires for the van plus new wiper blades and better headlight bulbs. His waiting area is super comfy with couches, TV and a Kurig. As it turned out they got in the wrong wiper blades so while his guy was blasting out the tires, Rick drove out and got the right blades. In a messed up and sometimes indifferent world it was a pleasure to meet Rick and his shop. His prices are super fair and explained up front and i couldn't be happier with the experience. Overpriced and Horrible customer service!!!!…read more Prior to the new ownership, I used to LOVE Foster's Automotive. And I had actually written a 5 start review here. My parents used to go to Foster's Automotive when Terry's dad owned it. Myself and my children continued to go to Foster's when Terry owned it. Terry was respectful, did awesome work, guaranteed his work and parts and labor were a very respectable price. I was having my entire family go there. We could trust him and had great faith in him. Now that Terry's son Nathan and his rude, belligerent, condascending wife Jasmine, have bought it 1/1/19 (since Terry underwent chemotherapy for cancer), their estimates are OVER double what Terry charged for parts and labor. I ask questions and I don't know if I can believe what they are saying or not because in relation to my experience with Terry, what they are saying doesn't make sense. And Jasmine is horribly degrading talking down to you and cursing. I feel very sad to have lost my wonderful mechanic. Three generations of my family have gone to Foster's Automotive and in one fail swoop, they have lost our family as customers forever.
