I booked CTNY primarily because they offer car seats, and off the strength of their reviews. I was traveling with an infant alone following a transatlantic flight. The car they sent me had an *EXPIRED SEAT IMPROPERLY INSTALLED.* The car seat was four years out of date. The driver's point of view on the expiration and improper installation was "not my problem." The dispatchers point of view was "not my problem." Who's problem is it then? Mine apparently, who had to put my infant child's safety at risk to take my prepaid rush hour car over an hour from JFK to Connecticut. A child's safety while in their vehicle should be of upmost importance to a car service. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH SMALL CHILDREN. read more

I was a little skeptical about booking with CTNY when I first found them here on Yelp given that they didn't have any recent reviews, but I think that's just because more people are using Google reviews now. I have to say, though, they have to be THE BEST airport ride in the NYC area. My flight was cancelled less than 24 hours before takeoff, and Helen, CTNY's owner, was so understanding and helpful. She was able to reschedule a ride for me to a different airport at a completely different time (about 6 hours earlier than I was originally booked) with very little notice. I was literally on the phone with her at about 11 at night asking for a pickup at 8 a.m. the next day, and she made it happen. My driver, Lou, was excellent - arrived on time (a little early even) and was a very safe, efficient driver. I will definitely use CTNY the next time I'm in New York. read more

A limo company has to do only one thing really well: Show up on time at both ends! They did this, and Ray (I think) the driver was cool, and a good driver. I've always wondered why some limo drivers are terrible at driving, since they do it all day long! But not this guy, smooth and fast. Finding the ideal ride from Greenwich to Manhattan with six bags of assorted luggage for a few passengers including my 2yr old toddler seemed like a daunting task but I trusted in Yelp and was glad to have been directed to CTNY limo which provided a smooth and excellent journey. Pricing was fair and competitive, booking was simple, the SUV we used was in perfect shape and the service for the actual ride was the best part of the journey. Our driver today was nice to chat with and took special care to drive conservatively since we had a baby in the car. Email confirmation, email update day before trip with driver picture and contact info, email telling you driver is on way and then arrived. Follow up email with comments for feedback. After trying to tell her my name three times, and being put on hold twice (and then being asked if she could call me back in 15 minutes), I decided that if this was the level of service I was going to receive, that I would take my business elsewhere. I have used CTNY Limo several times since summer of 2015 and they are my go-to company for transportation to and from JFK or LGA. Their drivers are knowledgeable, courteous, and punctual. One driver saved me about 20 minutes of waiting by bringing me to the less-busy of 2 curb side check in points. He knew that most people stood in line at one while the other had no one in line. Those little things matter. Helen (the owner) has taken my calls and answered my emails at all hours. I noticed that one potential customer was upset at Helen for answering the phone while Helen was at her son's baseball game (bad cell signal). Helen was concerned that the call was from a customer awaiting pick-up. I see that as excellent customer service. I have a trip scheduled every few weeks and will continue to use CTNY Limo to and from the airport. read more

Very professional car service for our ride from from LGA to Norwalk, which I highly recommend. I spoke with Stacie on the phone to reserve my ride, and was e-mailed a detailed confirmation. From the time the plane landed, I received e-mails, texts, and cell phone calls where to meet our driver. The SUV was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a bottle of water, which was much appreciated. Eric did a great job of finding the least crowded roads during rush hour to get us to CT. My only regret is that I wish I had known of CTNY sooner, and not dealt with a local shared shuttle service that previously kept me waiting at the airport over an hour before heading to my destination, and then dropping other people off for a monotonous, long drive. For 2 people, CTNY did not charge much more than the shuttle, but the service was so much better. Worth the extra $. read more

I had my brother's wedding in Nov of 2015 in Stamford, CT. I contacted CTNY back in in September of 2015 to explain the situation to them. Helen and Stacie were MORE than willing to help from the beginning. their prices were good but beyond that their SERVICE was awesome! I had about 95 people fly in from all over the world for this wedding to various airports (JFK, LGA, and EWR). Not everyone flew in together on the same day - we had about 60 different pickups and drop offs. I made an excel sheet outlining people, their flights, and groups and phone numbers. CTNY contacted each guest, picked them ON TIME, dropped them off in a timely manner, etc. I worked with CTNY because i thought they would provide me with peace of mind. they did exactly that. I didn't have to worry - we went over any holes in my excel file; they asked questions to learn what was exactly going on and when. I couldn't have asked for a better transportation service. Not only am I highly pleased; but most importantly my guest were blown away at how easy and seemless the transportation was for the wedding. If i could give 10 stars i would!! read more
