We stopped by last week after craving a sweet treat on a hot and sunny day. Our son has been into cookies and cream milkshakes lately so we decided to get two milkshakes. What I really like about this place is that they have a take out window for quick and on the go orders. I've dined in a few times in the past which the restaurant is so nostalgic with all the decor. The staff are friendly and efficient. We didn't wait long for our milkshakes. Our son absolutely loved his Oreo cookie milkshake. Things started out ok with our server Kari G. waited a while for our food to arrive, but when it did, everything was good. Kari stopped by to check in us once, and so did the floor manager, which was great. Things turned BAD when a group of about 25 kids from a Soccer Team showed up, and we were basically forgotten. Had to ask a busser for a to go box, then another server for our check. We sat for about 20 min simply while we watched Kari bring out food and ice cream to the large group. She never returned to our table. When the manager brought our check to the table, I politely told him how I was in the Hospitality Industry as well and was very disappointed with the service they provided. He apologized and thanked me for the feed back and asked if we would like some Ice Cream, and I stated NO that we just wanted to leave. He offered to take the ice cream off the bill if we got some but we again stated we just wanted to leave. He apologized but what he should have done was offered ice cream to go!
