Decent little Cuban spot. I like it because it's low key. There's always a flow of people, but it's never crowded. The staff is extremely kind & helpful, & I loved the calmness of the restaurant and outside sitting area. The baked empanadas were good & I LOVED my coffee.

Such a cute little spot. The coffee was delicious and it was worth the drive. They offered a variety of pastries and sandwiches too.

Ever since they have opened the inside has always been cute, they definitely added more tables outside which is great! This Cuban cafe is a hole in the wall find! Great prices and great food, I have eaten here three times and they have never disappointed, that also have me smoothies coffee and ice cream! I give this Cuban a 9/10! The people working there are always very nice!

I wanted to like this place so badly, as it's close to where we're staying. The steak sandwich at almost $14 and Cuban sandwich at $13 left a bit to be desired. Very light meat in both and sweet pickles :( who uses sweet pickles in a Cuban? The guava pastry was tasty.

I love this little cafe I try something new on the menu every month. I go a full weekend a month while on business travel and it's a cool quick stop convenient with cute little seating with shade out front. The food is pretty good and the service is always good. I have one weird experience last weekend where they charged me twice for empanadas and a matcha latte which are really good ! The women don't speak English and I don't speak Spanish so I let it go but the system isn't that good. I'd say pay with cash when going :) other than that I love this place !

Stopped at Cuban Cafe to grab some breakfast to go. Ordered the breakfast sandwich, ham and cheese croissant, and two coffees. The interior is super cute and there is indoor and outdoor seating. The food and coffee was good.

I stop in here every so often for coffee. I ask for no sugar and the first time I guess it wasn't a big deal but now it happened twice. It drives me nuts!

Cute corner Cafe in Hollywood. We popped in for breakfast before hitting the beach and were greeted by 2 lovely women. They had one table of 5 to serve before us so it took a moment, but that's how you know everything is made with love. Their croissants were very fresh and flakey. They put plenty of egg in the sandwich and it would have been filling enough on its own. The sandwich is served with their "special sauce" in a bottle. Tasted like mustard and mayo; which I loved lol. The cheese cachito pastry was just as good as I've had it before; filled with Spanish cheese and fluffy. The tequeno was alright. More bready than I've had. I like it with a thinner pastry dough and crispy. My friend got the spinach empanada and enjoyed it. I also got their Cafe con Leche and it needed nothing. It was perfect sweetened and had no bitterness.

Let's start with customer service! Nothing beats an upbeat staff as soon as you walk in. They welcome you and great you with a "Good morning!". They are very helpful and willing to answer any questions you have. Hubby and I walked in and ordered. We are both not Cuban and not a custom with Cuban food but we do know some. I questioned them on the items they served and what's in it. Some places look at you funny like you need to know exactly what is in their menus. Not this place! The very friendly lady (wish I checked her name) was very helpful and very nice about it. I asked about a few things that I saw but went ahead and ordered the Pan de Bono which I love! My husband ordered the Cuban colada which I'm addicted to since moving to FL. The Pan de Bono was soft with a good crunch on the outer side and mochi like middle "filling". The colada was smooth and the sweetness was perfect. I'm a bit picky on places where we buy the colada's from. I'll surely be back and try more things from their menu. They have a very cute cafe with outdoor seating. I love the seating indoors which is very unique and cozy. This would be a grate coffee date place. Not only do they have coffees they also have ice creams as well.

This little spot is an amazing little gem right on the outskirts of young circle beside Publix. Staff is super welcoming and friendly. If you are looking for great cuban coffee or cafe con leche this is the spot! Breakfast sandwiches generously portioned and are made on Cuban bread with egg, ham and cheese and toasted perfectly for an amazing crunch with each bite. Don't forget to grab a pastry for later!

Classic American ice cream parlor with creative and amazing flavors for everyone to choose from!!…read more Every time I'm back home in South Florida, I always make it a must to stop by here for a sweet treat. I've had their ice cream sundaes in the past and they're delicious! They even offer ice cream by the scoops (cup or cone), milkshakes/malts, ice cream sodas, and freezes. We stopped by last week after craving a sweet treat on a hot and sunny day. Our son has been into cookies and cream milkshakes lately so we decided to get two milkshakes. What I really like about this place is that they have a take out window for quick and on the go orders. I've dined in a few times in the past which the restaurant is so nostalgic with all the decor. The staff are friendly and efficient. We didn't wait long for our milkshakes. Our son absolutely loved his Oreo cookie milkshake. I have to admit that I've never tried their savory dishes but it definitely gives us a good reason to come back the next time we visit. We will be back!

Things started out ok with our server Kari G. waited a while for our food to arrive, but when it did, everything was good. Kari stopped by to check in us once, and so did the floor manager, which was great. Things turned BAD when a group of about 25 kids from a Soccer Team showed up, and we were basically forgotten. Had to ask a busser for a to go box, then another server for our check. We sat for about 20 min simply while we watched Kari bring out food and ice cream to the large group. She never returned to our table. When the manager brought our check to the table, I politely told him how I was in the Hospitality Industry as well and was very disappointed with the service they provided. He apologized and thanked me for the feed back and asked if we would like some Ice Cream, and I stated NO that we just wanted to leave. He offered to take the ice cream off the bill if we got some but we again stated we just wanted to leave. He apologized but what he should have done was offered ice cream to go! Yes I did leave Kari G a tip and I will recommend Jaxson's to my hotel guests, but will WARN them of the poor service, and high prices!

Keep an eye out for the charming blue-and-white stand topped with American flags, set back from the road, it's easy to miss, but worth seeking out. The Siciliano family has been serving the Miami community for decades. In October 1961, Louis Siciliano opened a sub shop at 711 NW 119th Street in Miami. Although the original location has since closed, the family legacy continues with Siciliano's Frozen Custard and the neighboring Sub Center and Siciliano's Subs, all operated by members of the Siciliano family. Don Drybread, Louis Siciliano's great-grandson, originally opened the custard stand as Uncle Tony's Frozen Custard before renaming it Siciliano's in honor of his mother's side of the family. Siciliano's specializes in frozen custard, which differs from traditional ice cream by containing egg yolks and being churned with less air. The result is a denser, richer, silkier dessert with a smooth texture. It's also served at a slightly warmer temperature than ice cream, allowing you to savor its rich flavor. The custard is made fresh throughout the day, ensuring the perfect consistency every time. Custard is offered in the classic flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and a twist of both, available in cups or cones with your choice of nuts, candy, fruit, or sauce toppings. The menu also features sundaes, sorbet, milkshakes, and their signature thick Hurricanes. For something a little different, Carolyn's Creations transforms the custard into treats like cannolis, dessert tacos, and ice cream sandwiches. I ordered a medium vanilla custard topped with butterscotch and it was so satisfying. The rich, creamy custard made the perfect treat on a hot summer day. There isn't any indoor seating, but there are picnic tables next to the Sub Center, which is great spot to savor your sub or custard.
