They had everything from savory options that would make a perfect breakfast or lunch to beautiful sweet pastries that looked so mouthwatering in their display case. Since it was so early in the morning, we weren't hungry yet, so we just ordered our café con leche to go. The coffee was exactly what I was hoping for, and even though the place got pretty busy while we were there, the service was quick. Looking back, I definitely regret not picking up a few pastries or empanadas because everything looked amazing. Thanks Yelp for finding this Argentina gem for me! I was looking for a breakfast spot near our hotel, and this spot got rave reviews. They serve a $7.99 breakfast which include 2 eggs (fried or scrambled), 2 strips bacon, 1 bread (w/ jam & butter), and 1 ham & cheese croissant - which is a great deal, and the breakfast was really good! I esp. loved the ham & cheese croissant - the croissant was sweet, so the sandwich was a perfect sweet & salty surprise! We also got their Americano coffee for $1.99 - and that was really great coffee. It looked like most of the customers were getting coffee and pastries to-go. We came back next day to buy several different kinds of pastries and they were all so good - just $1.39 each too! Next time I'm in Hollywood, I need to try their empanadas - they had quite a selection! FYI there are just a few parking spots in front of the restaurant, and only a few tables inside. This is a gem! Came to Hollywood, FL for a conference and discovered this cafe within walking distance of the hotel I was staying at. They also have a bunch of different empanadas on a display counter! I think that is what they are known for! It was pretty tender, but I did have a little bit of buyers remorse and wish I had gotten one of their more "traditional" or perhaps more well known to non-Argentinian dishes. I think I prefer other styles of short ribs, and I was definitely salivating over what other tables ordered. You do have to ask for the salad dressing for the side salad. Phenomenal flavor. I really enjoyed the texture of the tart. My party ordered the milanesa de pollo, he enjoyed his dish that came with two sides. (He chose the house salad and mashed potatoes). The Arabic, Patagonia, Spicy Beef, Four Cheese and Caprese - DELICIOUS. The dough was flaky and insides were great. My partner had the sweet breads and I had steak with salad.
