I bought perfect cut cigar cutter from them in December when I was visiting Miami but when I got home to Finland I noticed the cutter was not even close to sharp and the fitting was very loose. They have an lifetime guarantee for those cutters which means they replace the old one without charge to a new one if the old one doesn't work etc. Well I contacted them the first time in January and was in contact with a customer service person named Jackie and we discussed about the matter but for some reason they didn't answer to my emails anymore in one point so I contacted them again from their online contact request thingy and received an answer pretty quickly from another customer service person named Liz Triana who was great(for a while). We agreed that I send the cutter to them and cover the charges that come from the sending and then they do the same when they send me the new one. We also agreed that I get to switch my cutter to another model which was the same price which was great. Then I sent my cutter to them on March 5th. The last email I got them was on March 13th when they said they will contact me when the cutter arrives. It has now been way over two months since I sent my cutter to them and they have obviously received it but have no interest in sending a new one back to me and they are ignoring my emails completely. So in short. The products are great IF you get lucky but the customer service is very bad as it seems. Also I consider this case a theft and scamming as they have taken my cutter and have not returned a new one to me even though promised. I have been doing business with them for several years and had no problem. I ordered the same cigars as always. Waited several days and checked on order. Still waiting to be filled so I called and they said they were back ordered. As they have my Email and have no issues sending me flyers, I would think they could have sent me a note. One of my first stops when I arrive. I never though the service was going to be so great. I got to talk to the owner who is a nice guy and gave me some great advices when it came to cigars. I cannot speak to the retail experience of this place, my review is more for their website and dealing with their customer service. I purchased a humidor from their site several weeks ago. As a previous reviewer stated, they lead you to believe that they are involved in the manufacturing of this product. If they are, I'm not sure why they put their name on it. These "wood" humidors are nothing more than laminate junk. Mine arrived with a smashed in corner and a broken hygrometer. I have chosen to ignore the smashed corner as it did not affect the usability of the product, but after 4 separate communication attempts, I still cannot get a new hygrometer sent to me. I have emailed, spoken to people on the phone, used their website, and still every time they tell me they will send me a replacement hygrometer. It has been a month since I purchased this unit and they still have not sent me a new hygrometer. Placed an order over a week ago. When they didn't arrive I called, by magic, they are being shipped today - otherwise they would have never been shipped. Apparently their back office has extensive problems with UPS shipping. Customers have to call to ensure that their orders are being processed and they will not provide a tracking number. Not a reliable merchant ig the customer has to constantly call to find his merchandise. But, they are happy to take your money. read more

Beware of Cuban Crafters! I placed an order online and paid extra for 2nd day air shipping. They sent my package by ground even though I paid extra for the faster service. When I contacted them, I was promised a refund. It has been about six weeks and many, many email inquiries, and they have not sent my refund. The guy named Eddy or Eduardo has sent me a few responses, saying that he is sending the refund, but then it never comes and he just seems to ignore my emails as I get no response from him. Their products are of inferior quality and I would be highly embarrassed to even give these cigars away as gifts. Truly the nastiest tasting cigars I have ever tried to smoke. This business has very poor customer service, they are liars and thieves, and their cigars are garbage! Stay away from this place. I placed 2 orders with them online before Christmas. I received the first order as expected. It was nice. Then the second order was placed 3 1/2 weeks before Christmas. It contained 3 items that were to be given as a Christmas gift. After 2 weeks I became concerned and contacted them via email. No response. Contacted them again, via email, no response. Called and left a message, no response. Finally reached the store and spoke with a lady that told me one of the items was on back order. She stated that it would be in within a few days. She would personally see to it that I received it by Christmas, even if she had to overnight it. Sounded great. Thanked her very much. Monday, one week before Christmas. I sent an email to check the status. No response. Called customer service and left a message. No response. Christmas Eve - no package. I was shocked - not. Called Tuesday after Christmas. Was told the item did not come in. Gee, wouldn't a phone call or a response to my email been nice prior to Christmas? Or even a call to apologize that it didn't get out? Some sort of acknowledgement? The greater Miami area is a multi-cultural wonder. The high point of my visit there this November was finding Cuban Crafters. Had no clue they existed, but while enjoying the ambiance of Little Havana, I asked where to buy the best cigars in town. Everyone directed me to CC. I was greeted warmly at the door by Danays Gonzalez. She is lovely, absolutely charming personality and she knows everything about cigars since she has been in the cigar world most of her young adult life. She was gracious, most interesting and very helpful in making my selection. Everyone there was wonderful but I highly recommend you ask for her when you go there. The whole atmosphere is inviting, everyone is very friendly. Cubans are an inviting and enthusiastic people anyway and, in the atmosphere if this cigar shop, it was rather typical to receive a warm smile from other customers and to engage in easy conversation about each others' choices. And, I assure you the smokes are among the best cigars I have enjoyed anywhere, including authentic Havana cigars I purchase when overseas. I think CC's are better. One of their smokes is as large a ring size as I have ever seen. I would have to give it some spectacular name like "magnum double corona." It is the size of 2 Churchill cigars in one. Clearly you don't pick up that formidable one unless you have lots of time to enjoy it. Oh, have I ever. Positively delicious. If you try to smoke it fast you will get a little light headed, so the trick is to savor it. What a fabulous cigar, and by that I am referring to its flavor. The draw and smoothness are amazing. I get a near perfect burn every time. So why just 4 stars? Only because I am a new customer and will wait for a while until I develop a longer relationship with them. And the truth is, I don't often give 5 stars away easily. A three-star Michelin restaurant ranking is rare so giving 4 stars to Cuban Crafters means I truly consider a visit there an exceptionally rewarding experience. read more

I ordered 50 cigars from them but they were plugged - impossible to smoke. Cuban Crafters would do nothing about it even though they advertise a money-back guarantee. This was especially disappointing because I had ordered the same cigar several times in the past and it was great. What a shame to see a good place go so far down hill, and then refuse to stand by its product. This summer I went back home to visit family and had a wonderful surprise. As I am going to my dad's house I notice a great big building and BAM!!!!!!! it said Cuban Crafters. I was like a kid in a candy store. I had to call my husband in ALT and like I little kid I told him what I had found. I have been buying from them for years... and finally took the time to be alone. As I entered the enviroment was so laid back. There was a man getting his shoes shine. I got to smoke a cigar with them and even had fresh Cuban cafe made. The service was out of this world, and when I told the manager how I shop on-line and live in ALT. He showed me all they have and shared about the new cigars. All I have to say is. If you order from Cuban Crafters online, beware, they will substitute lesser cigars (in my case unlabeled) and not inform or ask you if it is ok. When I complained via email, the Customer Service rep. apologised and told me they could give me a discount on my next order. When I asked how that was to be done without a coupon code I was ignored, no responses from two emails. When I did make a new order, I put the email from the Customer Service rep in the comments section of the online order form. Sure enough, no discount. I recently received in the mail my Cuban Crafters 100 cigar humidor with a hygrometer that does not function properly. I called and spoke with Liz who said she would send me a replacement once I emailed her the sku #. I did so and had not heard anything for a week. After calling back 3 times within the next week, Liz was always "not in" or "at lunch" and I was assured each time that she would call back. She never did. Absolutely horrible experience. Made a purchase for dividers for my humidor and the following day order a box of cigars. 2 weeks T W O went by and still nothing. I called it emailed then finally after 3 weeks someone responded. They were out of stock on the box of my father's cigars and offered me 2 other options that I thought sucked I asked for a refund and asked where are the dividers. They said ok and on the way. A week later 25 of these nasty gas station cigars wrapped in construction paper showed up at my house. Another week of constant calls and emails someone finally responded. I was told to ship back the box of shit cigars and when the are received in good condition my dividers will be released. I have been ordering from them for quite a while and so am very disappointed with their treatment of me. They got their hands on my credit card when I ordered online - which I authorized, but then misused it badly. On September 2nd I ordered $111.91 worth of cigars for which the amount was withdrawn properly. On September 17th I noticed another charge made for $111.91. When I called them they first claimed they never received the first money. On the next call it was all a mistake that had happened to many of their accounts and would be fixed properly. On the next call I was told the money would be refunded that day. On each occasion (I made several calls) I was assured that the money would be refunded - I'm still waiting after over a month. I have contacted VISA to attempt to get the charge reversed but have received no reply from them yet. My next recourse is to get the BBB and the Dade County police involved to get my money back. read more

I've also had really bad service from these guys when ordering online recently, which surprised me because I'd had pretty good service in the past. They sold me cigars that they didn't have in stock. Normally, I can wait and would write this off as a glitch in their inventory management or poor web site maintenance due to the holiday rush but the hits just keep on coming. I wanted the cigars to celebrate a new baby and I'd ordered them 2 weeks before the expected due date. So I email them through the online account I'd set up. No answer to that and follow up emails to other contact addresses they have on their page. I call and am told that half the order is expected to ship in a week or so - no offer for a refund or substitution (which I would have gladly taken given my situation). They don't arrive. Another week goes by and I call again, this time I'm told they have none of the items I ordered in stock but the web page still lists everything as being in stock! Crazy. Again, no offer to substitute cigars of similar quality or make nice in some other way. Bottom line, I got very little response either from the folks I talked to on the phone or by email to what seems to me to be a customer service no-brainer. Even after asking for a refund and giving someone my credit card information I still notice that I've been billed for the items and that they are not expected to ship for another three months. I'm a month into this and just want my money back. My credit card statement is still showing the charge. Having read the other reviews I realize that perhaps that web-selling is not their forte. I just hope that their in-person service is better than what I've gotten by phone and email. Yikes. I have been a good customer for several years and have enjoyed the cigars from here and the humidor I bought is awesome.....but......I ordered two boxes of cigars in June and was billed for both. I received only one and emailed asking about the other box. I was told they were out of stock and would upgrade me. I waited a couple weeks, nothing. My wife called and was told they were on the way.....2 weeks nothing. She called back and found the shipper had lost them and Cuban Crafters was going to make a claim on them.....So all in all it took 6 weeks to get my cigars; I paid extra for expedited delivery and they upgraded me to a box costing $25 less than what I originally bought. To say the least I'm very disappointed! The Customer Service folks never emailed or called to give updates on the progress of my shipment....it was like pulling teeth....they had my money and were less than interested in getting my product to me. It could have been a nice place, unfortunately, like so many other businesses in Miami the customer service is atrocious, and management is absent. First, do not bother trying to get an answer over the phone, they simply never, EVER, answer it, your call goes straight to voice mail. Walk in, and for the fun of it, just see what happens. I walked in and I saw the apparent manager walk in my direction, I thought he would greet me (Great Expectations), as I leaned in the direction of their refurbished cigars, he literally turned his back on me and walked away. However, if you crave unwanted attention just open, or just pretend to open their premium humidor door and an attendant (who didn't know where any of the cigars were located) would rush to follow you and make it so obvious that it is only for shoplifting prevention that you feel uncomfortable. Mr. Cuban Rafter (pun intended), if shoplifting is a problem invest in a camera. I had been catering this place for years and spent hundreds of dollars in humidors and cigars, but after my last three visits there is time to find a more classy place. read more
