Awesome authentic Cuban sandwiches, and extra friendly customer service. So glad i found this place. I had the Pan con Bistek, cuban steak sandwichand it was excellent. Perfectly toasted cuban bread, meat seasoned deliciously, and the cut of steak was very tender. The flan was also excellent. Expect this quality from hialeah or calle ocho in Miami, right here in palm coast!

Horrible service. Kid at the counter talked to me and acted like I was stupid. Can get a better Cuban sandwich around the corner at publix.

The Cuban was great (way better than Publix per the previous review).

Excellent service, very nice upper deck outside with ocean views and the best corned beef hash…read moreever! It was a rainy Thursday morning 10:30am. Not many people out n about so I couldn't really get a vibe for what the place would be like when it gets busy. But it was a great spot for breakfast and we sat on the rooftop area inside so it was covered from the rain, but I can't wait to go back someday for the outside ocean front deck, even closer to the water. I ordered the Irish Benedicte with hash that is homemade on premise with slow roasted corned beef. Very tasty. The side of Home fries were thinly sliced and I had gravy added to that so it was tasty too. Our server was excellent, Trevor was a very nice guy and he recommended we come back for the all you can eat ribs. I wish I was staying in town longer and I would. I'll make a point to come back next visit.

The bruschetta was very good. My husband enjoyed his fish sandwich. The manager killed a huge beetle that was on the ceiling. Just glad it didn't take flight. The manager took our 2 dishes off of our bill. What's outrageous is that they charge a 2.9% service fee when using a credit/debit card. That's not posted anywhere. Our server,Sage, she was sweet. Will we go back? Definitely no. Too many other places to try.

Second visit to Next Door Beach Bistro and once again -- phenomenal…read more Last night I ordered the Beef Bourguignon with cream potatoes, and it was everything this classic French dish should be. The beef was incredibly tender, slow-braised in a rich red wine reduction with pearl onions and mushrooms. The cream potatoes underneath were smooth, buttery, and perfect for soaking up that sauce. Every bite was delicious. We started with the Filet Carpaccio, thinly sliced and topped with shaved parmesan, capers, arugula, and crostini. Fresh, light, and beautifully plated. The bar program deserves its own mention. You can order a vodka soda anywhere, but here they elevate every drink with presentation and detail. Instead of a simple lime wedge, I watched drinks come out with full lime rounds resting on the rim. My Chocolate Martini dessert drink was practically artwork -- topped with a dehydrated orange slice, chocolate shavings, orange zest, and crossed chocolate-dipped sticks. It looked incredible and tasted even better. Atmosphere is another win here. Guests ranged from cocktail dresses to casual beachside attire and somehow it all fit perfectly. That balance is hard to achieve, but they've nailed it. We sat on the patio (about 67°) and they had the panels down, which kept it comfortable while still letting you enjoy the beachside atmosphere. Even the hallway to the restrooms was lined with art -- thoughtful details everywhere. Some restaurants look great but don't deliver on flavor. Others taste great but lack atmosphere. This place does both exceptionally well. Dinner for two with drinks came to $131 before tip, which felt very fair for the quality of food, cocktails, and overall experience. Looking forward to visit number three.

The hostess was very friendly and let us pick our table. The weather was perfect, warm but we were shaded from the sun. Our server Dawn took our drink order my husband ordered coffee and I water. I ordered the B.Y.O. Breakfast Sandwich which was scrambled eggs, swiss cheese, I added a sausage patty on a brioche bun. My husband ordered the early bird special which was sausage gravy and biscuit with eggs over easy with bacon which also included his coffee. My breakfast sandwich was delicious, eggs perfect and I loved the melted cheese, I definitely will get it again. My husband said the sausage gravy and biscuit was very good. I had a lavender iced latte which was pretty good! I was hoping to try the blueberry pancakes one but they were out of the flavors to make it, and also out of the toasted marshmallow flavor so I couldn't try the toasted root beer. So a little sad over that, but the lavender latte was still an absolute win. Plus it was out to me super fast! I also tried a homemade pop tart. That was also really good. I was expecting preserves or similar for the filling though and it wasn't. It was like a strawberry cream cheese filling. Which was good! Just doesn't scream "poptart" to me. The service here is absolutely top tier tho, with no "buts". It's definitely a hometown mom and pop type place and really seems like they care about their community and the employees care about being there. I'll definitely be back. And maybe next time, I'll go earlier in the month when they have a cool flavor of the month so I don't miss out!!! You can't really beat a "coffee. Beach. Bourbon" attitude!
