My husband and I decided to try out Hi Tulip Cafe for breakfast this morning. As soon as we entered we were greeted and seated by our server. He took our drink order which my husband had coffee and I just had water. Our server was very friendly and prompt. We took a few minutes to look over the menu. I had ordered the 1 egg plate which comes with hash browns and toast, I ordered my egg poached with a side of sausage links. My husband ordered the early bird special which was 1 half Belgian waffle, 2 eggs over easy, bacon and his coffee was included. Our food was very good. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated, it has both booths and tables. Their prices are very reasonable and our service from Alex was top notch! We will definitely come back and hopefully it will be warmer where we can sit outside. read more

Came here with four other friends. It was so hot so we had to sit inside, but there isn't a great booth for five people. We still managed. Very nice customer service and accommodating for our requests. I got a veggie wrap and it was perfect. I had other friends get cappuccino, breakfast, even the gluten-free pancakes. We definitely plan on going back as a group. Such a wide variety of menu without being too overwhelming. read more

This is our at least once a week breakfast place. Both the food & service is excellent. The ambiance is relaxing &the wait staff the best.

I have been going here for many years. Good service, usually good food. I liked the breakfast and have had many items. This morning I went in and ordered the sun rise sandwich. Back again, solo this time! I wanted a little 'Me' time and thought of visiting the Hi Tulip Cafe to check out the inside of the restaurant. The decor was quite quaint and colorful. The booths could seat for 2 and 4 people. Tables were available for larger groups. Holly was my server and she had a cheerful, welcoming attitude! Her service was prompt and she ensured everything was fine. Oh my goodness, the aroma of the Chai had hints of spices and was flavorful. My parfait was not only beautiful to look at, it was tasty as well. The fruit (strawberries and blueberries) were fresh and the yogurt was tasty. The crunch of the oats that covered the yogurt was a surprise since most I've had were usually a bit soggy. So tasty! It you get a chance to stop by this hidden gem, try it out and saw 'Hi' to Holly. Back again just wanted to point out a great tasting breakfast burrito, turkey egg whites and baby spinach wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla, it was amazing light tasting real chunks of Turkey seasoned just right. Oh my goodness I am so glad I stumbled upon this little gem. It's a small restaurant with outside seating. They are always busy which to me is a good sign. Cute little breakfast place my friend recommended. They also have lunch options too and veggie options as well, which I love. Service was good we didn't have that long of a wait even though it was bust. I got the tulip Benedict, which was served on a croissant, which was unusual but it was really tasty. I just wish there was more asparagus or another slice of tomato or maybe some spinach on it because there was more bread than toppings. I think if it had that it would have been perfect! read more

The food here is always good. I like their Tulip Benedict with the veggies. My husband always gets the Jersey Boy sandwich; he loves the Taylor pork roll and, it is delicious and filling. My favorite though, is the Smoked Salmon Hashbrowns. You get 3 per order but I always forget to take a picture - this time I remembered to do that with the last one! Service is nice and friendly. Get here early! It's a cozy little place inside and they have a nice patio too. If you dawdle around and get here after 10-ish, you'll find you will have to wait. What impressed me the most, right away, was the very, nice service and attentive care we received from our server, Mercedes, and the others, who made our meal most pleasant and enjoyable. We went for breakfast and because my dietary needs limit my choices, I ordered off the sides menu, or a la carte. I ordered corned beef hash and a sausage patty. The sausage patty was so delicious and I could tell it was home-made, so I ordered a second one. The corned beef hash was alright. Not bad, but not great. The corned beef seemed to be merely a suggestion and was overcooked, little crisps of meat amongst the hash brown potatoes. The coffee is very good. My husband, who can eat anything, (not that he SHOULD), got the eggs Benedict and could NOT stop telling me how delicious and perfect it was. (Thanks. Like I don't wish I could eat it, too. Rub it in, why don't you?)! We will definitely go back, because they do deserve to do well! Sorry. I didn't take pics, this time, but I will when we go back. read more

One of my favorite breakfast places. The coffee is great & they have specialty teas. I love the waffles & fluffy scrambled eggs. My husband enjoys the steak & eggs. I've reviewed this place about a year ago. It was good but not special. However, this time it was awful. I ordered the plain Jane burger. First of all, the size was very small, but that's not the problem. The burger was so salty tasting that I couldn't eat it. I took one bite and told my friends. One of them tried a small piece and agreed. I asked our server to come over, she was pleasant but told me that there's no salt on it. Then after she went back to the kitchen she returned and told me that it was the seasoning. I didn't want seasoning I wanted a plain burger. Well, I couldn't eat it. I said okay and just ate a few of the fries. I didn't request it be removed from my bill but she tells me that they discounted the bill. Oh, thank you. Then the bill comes and the big discount was $1.31, 10% of the bill. Actually less than the tip. I left. I'm sorry but I felt like it was insulting. I'll never be back. read more

Don't let this cute cafe tucked away inside the public shopping center fool you. The food is great an the service is wonderful. Since Covid seating is limited so get their early especially on the weekends as they get packed. They also have seating outside which is nice if the weather is right. I have tried quite a few things and everything that I have tried is great. So it comes out hot and quick and they're always making sure you have what you need. This small Breakfast lunch café is a must if you haven't tried it yet. The prices are reasonable and the portions are great. read more

A pretty solid brunch spot for great food at reasonable prices. The restaurant is always pretty busy, but for good reason. Their food is made fresh and you can tell. I ordered a plain burger with fries and really enjoyed it. The burgers are made with grass fed beef which I really like. The french fries were also quite flavorful. I appreciate that everything comes together so you don't have to pay extra for fries with your meal. It's a cafe, so it can get a little loud, but never too much that it's distracting. A few months ago my wife and I stopped into the Hi Tulip Cafe for lunch. Although it was excellent I failed to write a review so back to the cafe today for breakfast. There was a rumor going around that it was an great place for breakfast so that's why we came back. They have an extensive early morning menu starting with eggs any style, pancakes, waffles, breakfast wraps and then specialties including a variety of omelets and my favorite, Eggs Benedict (on a croissant). It has to be one of the best items on the menu. Their take includes shaved steak, green peppers and onions. Take it from me its was excellent. While my wife had a western omelette, the portion was so big she could not finish it. Sides of hash brown potatoes, fruit and corn beef hash were all excellent. Service was reasonably fast considering the place was packed! Always a good sign. Bottomless coffee and tea is also a nice touch. Breakfast for two came to $33.50 before tips. Only one minor concern, their idea of coffee is much weaker than mine. So yes, I can strongly recommend Hi Tulip Cafe for both breakfast and lunch. read more

Haven't been to Hi Tulip Cafe since their opening year. The food quality is about the same from then. Enjoyable but not the best you can get for your buck. Asked for over medium eggs and got almost fried with hardly any yolk. The multi grain pancakes where pretty tasty and so was the Taylor Ham sandwich but they didn't ask how you wanted your egg on it which was disappointing. Our server was excellent but the kitchen is very slow. Took us about 45mins to get our food from order. It was fairly busy but when it slowed down it was still taking over tables awhile to receive their meals. All in all this cafe is a good restaurant but there's better options in the area. read more

Fantastic breakfest this morning. Walked in greeted by hostess, sat down in a comfy booth. Started with the corn fritters served hot with a side of yogurt very tasty. I ordered the Tulips Benedict. The order was pure perfection. The hollandaise sauce was the best I ever had. The combination of flavors was delightful. I never order potatoes but they just looked so dang good and they did not disappoint. Warm and soft inside and crisp outside they will also put peppers and onions on top. Now not just diced skimpy peppers and onions no they serve it up right with sliced pepper strips cooked up soft but still crisp. I cant wait for our next visit to try something new. Our waiter Germine actually put the meal to five stars. This young man is personable and knows the menu. He certainly will be requested next time. read more

The food was delicious! It's a very cute place. Our waitress was very friendly and was very knowledgeable about all the questions I ask. Whenever I go to a new place I always ask what is good. The waitress was happy to indulge in all my questions and did not seem annoyed. The kids menu is limited, but our daughter is not picky, so it was fine for us. My husband and I were both surprised with the amount of food. My husband was very hungry and I as full by the end of the meal. The specialty coffee was delicious and we usually don't order lattes when out, but they were definitely worth the money. The price of the food is a few dollars higher than a typical breakfast diner, but we felt that it was worth it. read more
