My family and I came here for Father's Day dinner and it was a good time. We didn't have a reservation but we went so early they were able to accommodate us. On holidays it's good to call before coming in. This is the first time they gave us chicharrones to start and we tried them and they were good but it's not really our forte. We (3 people) all shared a large portion of empanadas. They are to die for. And they always rotate a seasonal flavor which is fun. The veggie one is the best though. And per usual, the flan with dulce de leche is amazing and is a must try. Will be back with my family.

Tangos Daytona is absolutely amazing! Authentic Mexican cuisine done right. I paid $10.99 for empanadas with a side, and it was worth every penny. The food was divine, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can truly taste the authenticity. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I ordered the skirt steak first, I didn't care for it and sent it back. For me the flavor was lacking and I didnt enjoy the texture of it. The rice didnt have much flavor or salt but the grilled veggies were delicious. I ordered the chicken in place of the steak and that had more flavor than the steak. I wouldn't order it again though. Our server was great.

The Tiramisu is delicious, the best I have ever had. Service is great, variety is good. They even have a variety of coffees. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music is so soothing[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We popped in about 45 minutes before they closed, and it wasn't super busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining is small, but nicely lit and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waiter was pretty attentive and never made us feel rushed, despite our being there until a few minutes after 8. Everyone loved what they ordered. My friend got the salmon, and she said everything was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. My other friend ordered the cuban minus pickles, and said it was one of the best she'd had. She lives in Jacksonville, and said she would definitely come down the coast to eat here again. I ordered a fried chicken empanada with salsa criolla, and it was deliciosa. Crispy, well seasoned, and flavorful. I also had the loaded tostones with steak. 10 out 10 recommend. They were so wonderful. I didn't need to add salt or pepper to anything and the steak bites were so stinking good. This is definitely on my list of places to return to the next time I'm in the area.

What a pleasant surprise! Tango's was decided upon at the last minute, on a whim. Upon arrival, there were just a few other patrons but the interior was lovely. The spaciousness, greenery, blue color of the walls, and mellow music gave the entire place a relaxing, unpretentious, easy-going vibe. There were flat screens too! One of them displayed delicious, attractive menu items along with descriptions. That was a great marketing investment. The pictures alone were mouth-watering. The menu had a very nice variety of options. There were salads, rice bowls, hot sandwiches, burgers, a kids' menu, specialty entrees like seafood and steaks, pinchos (marinated, skewered meats), and desserts. There are lunch specials during the week and beer & wine are offered. If you go, you'll find something delicious to eat. Service was straight-forward and we didn't wait long for our food. The "Hubs" said that his classic Cuban Sandwich was the best that he's ever had, due to the tasty, tender, juicy pork and homemade bread. At first, we thought a few items seemed rather pricy, but I quickly noticed the quality, taste, and attention to detail with the food. You can taste the love and care in the food. In addition, the portion sizes were substantial. I concluded that the food was an excellent value for the price. We're already planning to go back again. This place is definitely a jewel.

Stopped here for a late lunch after working in the area and based on yelp! recommendations and reviews. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Terrific choice! Surprising (in a good way) interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Kind and efficient servers. The food? Wish I lived closer but this may be my go to when I visit here next quarter. Former Miami Beach and SFL resident, this Cuban sandwich was one of the best! Add the plantains with side of a mayo based garlic aioli and chimichurri and I was in food heaven. Finish me off with a cafe con leche and I am thrilled. Well played, Tango's. Well played.

Chips and salsa were also served by the time I returned from the restroom. This restaurant definitely has speedy service! After looking over the menu I chose the fajita salad as it was on a lunch special. The salad was alright. I didn't taste the onions or bell peppers that made it different from the taco salad. The chicken had a lot of flavor. I had a water, but wanted horchata which they did not have at the time. Our server, was amazing! Very attentive and friendly. The chips and salsa were also delicious. While eating the music was frequently cutting out and changing from more traditional Mexican music to rap and back and forth. Overall, I am not sure I will return as Ormond has serval better Mexican options nearby.

Fantastic food with a Spanish/Cuban flair!…read more I often dine alone. If you really want to find out about the service of a restaurant, go by yourself. In my experience, the places with the best staff will serve you as attentively as if you were paying the check for a large party. Unfortunately for other restaurants, Columbia has ruined me for most other places in this regard. Their service is top notch. I usually eat at the bar and Carolyn and the other bartenders are always at the top of their game! Great service is just the start, the food will keep you coming back. From the wonderful Cuban bread, to the fantastic dishes (Try the pompano!) to the must-try Bread Pudding, the food is outstanding! If a restaurant makes it in St. Augustine for years, it's going to be a good place. There's too much competition for mediocre to survive here. If you haven't been to Columbia, it should be at or near the top of your list!
