I've been coming here for a few months and I'm hooked on the Carne Asada Burrito. The fries are also excellent.

Excellent service, very nice upper deck outside with ocean views and the best corned beef hash…read moreever! It was a rainy Thursday morning 10:30am. Not many people out n about so I couldn't really get a vibe for what the place would be like when it gets busy. But it was a great spot for breakfast and we sat on the rooftop area inside so it was covered from the rain, but I can't wait to go back someday for the outside ocean front deck, even closer to the water. I ordered the Irish Benedicte with hash that is homemade on premise with slow roasted corned beef. Very tasty. The side of Home fries were thinly sliced and I had gravy added to that so it was tasty too. Our server was excellent, Trevor was a very nice guy and he recommended we come back for the all you can eat ribs. I wish I was staying in town longer and I would. I'll make a point to come back next visit.

So we decided to go to Oceanside in Flagler Beach which we honestly don't visit this location but the Ormond Beach location. That being said their top seating viewing the ocean was awesome!! They do not have happy hour as does the Ormond Beach restaurant does. Our server was ok but he did not compare to the Ormond Beach location...not even close!! My husband ordered the Baja burger with fries and I ordered the Cuban press with fries. My sandwich was good, my husband really enjoyed his burger. I think my low was our server never checked on us to make sure we didn't have any problems or that we actually got what we ordered. I must say customer service was very much better at the Ormond Beach location!! Would have been a 5* if wasn't for the server.

The seating area around the bar is a mix of high and low tops. The high tops offer a great view of the planes and TVs in a sports bar type atmosphere; 70's and 80's music enhanced and not overwhelmed the experience. They also have outside patio seating with a small play area. We started with the buffalo shrimp. Six large deep fried shrimp. Nicely seasoned with some tasty blue cheese. Next we added a cup of the New England clam chowder and the Wisconsin beer cheese soup, both of which were thick and had a rich taste. We finished with sharing a fish sandwich that can't be described any other way than HUGE compared to the bun. The house made kettle chips were a very nice addition. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu. All servers were friendly and efficient. They offer a full bar and cold beer. Be sure to ask about the drink specials. My husband's beer was on special for $2. I tried the Flagler Sunset. It was a good mix of rum and fruit juices. It had been a number of years since we stopped here but it definitely won't be that long next time.

We had burgers, sandwiches, bloody Mary's, margaritas, beach nachos with beef, skillets with shrimp & with beef. Everything was excellent. I had the Shrimp Skillet with rice and grilled veggies and it was excellent. Cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly and fresh tasting as well. Clam chowder was also very good. Bar drinks were well made, food was great. Chris was our server. Outstanding job, great personality. Chris was helpful, efficient and informative. Clean restaurant and rest rooms even though it was trivia night and thr restaurant was completely full. On this night, Beach Front Grille was a winner.

This was a huge disappointment since we drove out just for trivia. It would have been nice to get some kind of compensation, but all we got was super slow service and a 3 percent credit card surcharge! (It does say that on the menu, but again, it would have been nice if they took that off for the inconvenience.) The food is over priced and mediocre. 12 dollars for a wedge salad that is about a third the head of lettuce and very little toppings is inflation at it's best. Two dollars to sub fries for chips is also a bit much. The most surprising part was the tipping options starting at a whopping 25 percent, then 30, then 35 percent!! Who is eating here? Burt Reynolds?? (IYKYK) We will not be back when visiting this part of Florida; not even for trivia.

The male server was attentive and competent but my craft beer was poured as a low abv sour and not my Swamphead IPA hazy request, which was switched out quickly. My Prohibition Burger & Egg was seasoned perfectly and the boiled cajun peanuts had a nice unexpected spicy kick. Aside from the tasty eats, the beautiful 1920's themed bar is notably a mixologists dream. Maybe add a true Speak Easy to the place which would be a cool addition. There was a walk thru to a pricey steakhouse, but not hidden so not really a Speak Easy concept if that was the intent.

My husband's burger, ordered a medium rare, was well done. We didn't see a server for a while after we received our food, so he just ate it. The $4 up charge for sweet potato tots is so not worth a dime. They were inedible, but our server didn't ask how ANYTHING was so there wasn't any opportunity to change, send back etc. My fries were piping hot and tasted good for about five minutes until they cooled. After that, they were very mealy...you know how those taste. So very disappointed after hearing good things about this place. We won't be back here. Plenty of other places to eat in SA. Restaurants are crying the blues about costs, but don't seem to care much about quality any longer. I don't know about you, but until these establishments can show me they care about customers and quality, I'm going to be cautious about spending my money on a lunch costing $70. You?
