I love coming to Cubby's! I always get something different than my norm. Today was watermelon sorbet with strawberries and a cherry on top!! I liked it so much I went back for it again a week later! When I got there I checked out their pay-it-forward board (please note I don't actually know what the board is called) and I was able to find a note that applied to me! I love that Cubby's has this option. It's so caring and really makes you feel connected to others and what the business is about. I was particularly grateful for it because my free sundae allowed me to treat a friend to a quart of their favorite ice cream. It's chocolate marshmallow and it was heavenly! The staff here are so friendly! I've never had any issues ordering and I've been here more than a handful of times. The place is really cute. I love the large outdoor deck with oversized games. Too cold, or not for you... there are regular sized games all throughout inside. I just think that's the coolest thing. On this most recent visit, the serving sizes were incredibly small, but as always, the flavors of the ice cream were absolutely delicious. There are closer and better valued options for those who live in Harrisburg or on the west shore. I love me a good ice cream place. They had a good variety of different homemade flavors, maybe 15 flavors? You could even do samples there, which was great. I created my own Sundae, with cookies and cream, and caramel and m&ms as my toppings. It also came with whipped cream and a cherry. Additionally, rainbow or chocolate sprinkles are complimentary!! This place is so cute! What looks like a house, is actually an ice cream shop. I had the mango and watermelon gelato, my dad had the famous "couch potato". Both were delicious. Service was excellent- these were some of the friendliest people we had met on our cross-country road trip! I wish we had a cooler or some way to take the pre-packaged ice cream home with us. They have a mini freezer stocked full of all of their flavors. We sat out on the patio and ate our ice cream. It was so lovely. We just enjoyed the sundaes and enjoyed an indulgent treat on a cold weekend. The service was great. The sundaes were very good and quite generous. The ambiance is like a coffee shop plus the outdoor seating. While we were there two people bought sweatshirts. And, before we left, my husband grabbed a cup of coffee to go. This business is super cute, it has a nice deck with lights hanging out front for outside seating as well as inside seating where you can also play games if desired. The staff are so friendly and helpful when I asked them questions :) Great customer service is always a 5 star in my book! The owner is so nice and bubbly as well. They also have coffee and a few different flavors that were good as well. You have to try this place and let me know what you think when you do....I'm picky when it comes to ice cream because I don't eat much dairy and this place did not hurt or upset my stomach at all. This location used to be an old residence converted to a great ice cream shop with super friendly staff. They have a variety of flavors and the best one I thought they had was the Couch Potato, which was a combination of vanilla ice cream, chocolate pretzels, peanut butter and some other stuff I'm probably missing. They let you taste anything you want. The best thing?? The prices. I'm from Long Island, New York, and when i got ice cream for the kids one night, I had to take out a loan!!
