I love coming to Cubby's! I always get something different than my norm. Today was watermelon sorbet with strawberries and a cherry on top!! I liked it so much I went back for it again a week later! When I got there I checked out their pay-it-forward board (please note I don't actually know what the board is called) and I was able to find a note that applied to me! I love that Cubby's has this option. It's so caring and really makes you feel connected to others and what the business is about. I was particularly grateful for it because my free sundae allowed me to treat a friend to a quart of their favorite ice cream. It's chocolate marshmallow and it was heavenly! The staff here are so friendly! I've never had any issues ordering and I've been here more than a handful of times. The place is really cute. I love the large outdoor deck with oversized games. Too cold, or not for you... there are regular sized games all throughout inside. I just think that's the coolest thing. On this most recent visit, the serving sizes were incredibly small, but as always, the flavors of the ice cream were absolutely delicious. There are closer and better valued options for those who live in Harrisburg or on the west shore. I ordered a delicious cup of apple tea and a scoop of smores and scoop of French toast. Very creamy texture and flavors were great. They were quick to serve as they had a long line and were friendly. I love me a good ice cream place. They had a good variety of different homemade flavors, maybe 15 flavors? You could even do samples there, which was great. I created my own Sundae, with cookies and cream, and caramel and m&ms as my toppings. It also came with whipped cream and a cherry. Additionally, rainbow or chocolate sprinkles are complimentary!! It was good portions and the workers were very helpful. It was very busy there, but the employees handled it with ease and control. The service was great. This place is so cute! What looks like a house, is actually an ice cream shop. I had the mango and watermelon gelato, my dad had the famous "couch potato". Both were delicious. Service was excellent- these were some of the friendliest people we had met on our cross-country road trip! I wish we had a cooler or some way to take the pre-packaged ice cream home with us. They have a mini freezer stocked full of all of their flavors. We sat out on the patio and ate our ice cream. It was so lovely. They have all sorts of games spread across the picnic tables that you can play with your family or friends. Definitely a great way to cool down on a hot day. If you want a yummy ice cream treat in a nice relaxed location, this is your place. We went on a cold winter day and there was a constant stream of people. I can only imagine how busy they get on a warm day. Thank goodness they have lots of outdoor seating. We were greeted when we arrived and they gladly gave us samples of the various flavors. In a plastic boat shaped bowl, for $6.75 you get two large scoops of ice cream, two topings, whipped cream, and a cherry. I selected the couch potato flavor topped with hot fudge and the campfire s'mores topped with marshmallow cream. OMG. So good and so rich. There is no way I could have finished it if I had eaten a large lunch. We found a nice two person table and relaxed. There are various seating options plus lots of table games you can play. We just enjoyed the sundaes and enjoyed an indulgent treat on a cold weekend. The service was great. The sundaes were very good and quite generous. The ambiance is like a coffee shop plus the outdoor seating. While we were there two people bought sweatshirts. And, before we left, my husband grabbed a cup of coffee to go. Off street parking is available. Vibe is relaxing. Cold and hot drinks available. Lots of yummy ice cream. Very creamy ice cream. The color change spoons are a fun addition. If you are only a little hungry, opt for the small sundae or the regular scoops. If you are in the mood to indulge, get the big sunday. It's a lot of tasty decadence for a very reasonable price. Coming here was kinda a random thing as we both just kinda wanted something sweet and that we found as I got the strawberry cheesecake and maple cream with a cone on top! Both of the flavors were yummy and definitely hit the ice cream combo I was looking as they had a good flavor to them and were just yummy tell the end. Overall this is a chill little spot that's built into an old house on a Main Street so it kinda sneaks up on you as your passing by but don't let that stop you as it was yummy. This is an awesome hidden gem in Hummelstown! The owners and employees are very nice and helpful. The coffee is locally sourced and has a great flavor. Best of all, the ice cream they carry is phenomenal. I had never had Becks ice cream before but I'm hooked now. There is seating inside or a very nice deck to hangout on with games on the tables. Needed something to satisfy a sweet tooth and this did the job. When we entered we were greeted with a nice welcoming staff who offered their help while looking through the menu. They made recommendations and told us what we could do with our sundaes. We opted for two sundaes each with two flavors of ice cream and toppings. This business is super cute, it has a nice deck with lights hanging out front for outside seating as well as inside seating where you can also play games if desired. So many delicious ice cream flavors to try and you can even buy some to take home. The staff are so friendly and helpful when I asked them questions :) Great customer service is always a 5 star in my book! The owner is so nice and bubbly as well. They also have coffee and a few different flavors that were good as well. You have to try this place and let me know what you think when you do....I'm picky when it comes to ice cream because I don't eat much dairy and this place did not hurt or upset my stomach at all. I took this suggestion and I'm so happy I did! It was the perfect treat for after dinner. We were treated to a wonderful Yelp event this evening, our first time at this adorable ice cream/coffee establishment, and we left with smiles and happy bellies! The staff were all super nice and friendly, and we were blown away by the delicious creamy ice cream. The flavors were creative, campfire s'mores, Samoan cookie, chocolate peanut butter marshmallow, banana...I wanted to eat all of it! We also sampled several coffees, the chocolate raspberry, sunkissed fairy (?), and s'mores! They were super smooth and rich flavored, the beans are roasted locally. We actually purchased a bag of Kentucky bourbon coffee to try here at home, along with "couch potato" ice cream! Another fun effect, color changing spoons!
