Couch potato with peanut butter drizzle

Cubby's is a cute and homie ice cream shop. Everyone welcomed us in with open arms and felt like home. They have such amazing options for ice cream. I recommend the couch potato, it is phenomenal! There are board games and plenty of things to do inside to keep the kiddos occupied. There is private parking available. Highly recommend!

I attended the Yelp Costume party here tonight and had a BLAST! this is such a cute little ice cream shop, the decor and overall vibe is a plus:) their ice cream is so delicious and the staff was very kind. I'll definitely be returning. I won the contest which was super exciting, this is definitely a family friendly place 10/10 recommend! Thank you for this amazing experience.

The visit was totally worth it! The ice cream was great and so was the lemonade! Totally worth the visit!

Great first impression! Nice scoop of Ice Cream I had the Couch Potato which is vanilla with chocolate fudge, PB, and pretzels very refreshing. The two girls running the counter were very friendly. Its decor is really old school with separate seating areas they have a deck for warmer days! Their parking is at a premium and I'm not a great one for street parking you may possibly utilize the van lot after hours! We'll be back again

I had the pleasure of taking my daughter, who is a major ice cream fan, to Cubby's. She had a scoop of vanilla and the lavender with sprinkles. I ordered a delicious cup of apple tea and a scoop of smores and scoop of French toast. Very creamy texture and flavors were great. They were quick to serve as they had a long line and were friendly. The location is easy to find and ample parking except for huge pot holes in center of lot. You get option of sitting indoors or outside. Great place to hang out with friends! Hope soon they'll add diabetic friendly flavors.

My first visit to Cubby's for a Yelp event. Didn't even know the place existed, but will be sure to go back every time I'm in the area! The ice cream was absolutely delicious, and the store is quaint. Lots of neat "cubby" areas to enjoy your snack, as well as an outside seating area. The workers were very nice and efficient. This place is awesome!!

I love me a good ice cream place. They had a good variety of different homemade flavors, maybe 15 flavors? You could even do samples there, which was great. I created my own Sundae, with cookies and cream, and caramel and m&ms as my toppings. It also came with whipped cream and a cherry. Additionally, rainbow or chocolate sprinkles are complimentary!! It was good portions and the workers were very helpful. It was very busy there, but the employees handled it with ease and control. The service was great. It is a cute little shop inside, with some furniture to sit on and eat your ice cream. They have cool art pieces inside, including an adoption wall with painted pictures of the dogs, which I love!!!!

The staff is as sweet as the ice cream! As soon as you walk in you feel happiness! The favors are so wonderful, it is hard to pick just one! The best part?! The pair coffee with the ice cream! I got the couch potato ice cream with the cold brew and it was to die for! My husband got a peanut butter sundae and it was soo good and in a little boat! This place is family friendly and even have dog treats!! Add this ice shop to your list of must visits!

Lime sorbet with a color changing spoon

Stopped here with family after dinner to try more ice cream. Got the lime sorbet, it was delicious!! Love the touch of the color changing spoon. The staff were friendly as always and helped us figure out what to get. Their suggestions helped, I was already stuffed from dinner but ended up getting a small scoop anyway. My husband got the cold brew with the gingersnap ice cream scooped in. Amazing! It was too late for me to get coffee, but I'll definitely stop by earlier next time to try a cup. This place is a must visit!

    Mango and watermelon sorbet

This place is so cute! What looks like a house, is actually an ice cream shop. I had the mango and watermelon gelato, my dad had the famous "couch potato". Both were delicious. Service was excellent- these were some of the friendliest people we had met on our cross-country road trip! I wish we had a cooler or some way to take the pre-packaged ice cream home with us. They have a mini freezer stocked full of all of their flavors. We sat out on the patio and ate our ice cream. It was so lovely. They have all sorts of games spread across the picnic tables that you can play with your family or friends. Definitely a great way to cool down on a hot day. Should I ever find myself back in this area, I will definitely make another stop!

Ice Cream sweets and any of that good stuff always calls my name and in this given day it was all about that vibe! Coming here was kinda a random thing as we both just kinda wanted something sweet and that we found as I got the strawberry cheesecake and maple cream with a cone on top! Both of the flavors were yummy and definitely hit the ice cream combo I was looking as they had a good flavor to them and were just yummy tell the end. Overall this is a chill little spot that's built into an old house on a Main Street so it kinda sneaks up on you as your passing by but don't let that stop you as it was yummy. With that said hopefully I'll make it here again at some point but only time will tell as I'm always looking for another ice cream spot!

    Beautiful view

This is an awesome hidden gem in Hummelstown! The owners and employees are very nice and helpful. The coffee is locally sourced and has a great flavor. Best of all, the ice cream they carry is phenomenal. I had never had Becks ice cream before but I'm hooked now. There is seating inside or a very nice deck to hangout on with games on the tables. Big perk is there is also a private parking lot instead of on street parking you often see in Hummelstown. If you're near Hershey this place is worth a stop.

Sometimes all you need to turn a long week around is a really good ice cream sundae. That's exactly…read morewhere I found myself on a Friday evening in late July. I was in Hummelstown with no real plans, a loudly growling stomach and one very specific craving...ice cream. I'd probably driven past King Kone a hundred times over the years without ever stopping. For whatever reason, this was finally the night. I pulled into the parking lot around 7:30 p.m. and was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of parking, even on a beautiful summer evening. There were lots of people enjoying ice cream, but almost no line inside, which my stomach appreciated immensely. I quickly realized a cone or a bowl wasn't going to cut it. This needed to be a sundae. One of the things I love about King Kone is that many of their sundaes have fun jungle-themed names. After spending a few minutes studying the menu, I settled on the Elephant's Delight, which came to about $10.50. When I placed my order, I looked at the gentleman behind the counter and said, "It's been a long week. Can you take a couple extra minutes and put some good vibes into that sundae for me?" Without missing a beat, he smiled and said..."Absolutely." A few minutes later, he made eye contact across the room and handed me what can only be described as a bowl of ice cream the size of my head. I completely lost my composure. Right there, in the middle of a busy ice cream shop, I audibly squealed and told him, "You are making my dreams come true right now!" I wasn't exaggerating! And I think every person inside King Kone Creamery that night was aware of my excitement. Absolutely no regrets! The sundae was absolutely enormous, piled high with whipped cream, crowned with a perfect cherry and loaded with enough peanut buttery goodness to make my approximately 63.8% peanut butter personality feel completely understood. I carried my masterpiece outside and found a picnic table overlooking the beautiful property behind the shop. It was the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the evening and devote the next half hour of my life entirely to that sundae. The ice cream was fantastic. The toppings were incredibly generous, and I especially appreciated that everything was served in a large bowl instead of a tiny cup that would've had me wearing half of it before I finished. Every bite felt like the reward for surviving a very long week. King Kone turned out to be one of those places that's been hiding in plain sight all these years. Great ice cream, friendly people, generous portions and exactly the kind of place you hope an old-school neighborhood ice cream stand will be. Needless to say, it won't take me another hundred drive-bys before I stop again!

Located on Derry St. in between downtown Harrisburg and downtown Hershey! Since the early 2000s, once I learned the lay of the land, 3 B has been my favorite, during their open months!
