Cubby's is really delicious. I've only been a couple times and I've enjoyed it both times. The service is usually quick. It's convenient because they also have a drive thru. I love the cockadoodledoo sandwich. It was filling. A great side is their Rosemary fries. I also enjoyed the lemon chicken parmesan salad. Next time I will get an extra cup of dressing. One cup of dressing wasn't enough for me. They also have really good soup. All their food tastes really fresh.

My new goto place for a great hardy meal. My favorite is the steak torta . Restaurant is clean, staff is personable and polite. The steak Torta with sweet potatoes fries.... Yummmm! The TV's with RedBull playing is also a nice touch.

I love it more every time I go. I'm a recent Cubby's convert. It's a little on the pricey side in my opinion, but the food is great. The menu is unique as well. I always get the sweet potato fries and usually a salad. The seasonal salads are really fun and I like that there is something new for me to try each time I go.

How dare I forget how amazing Cubby's is! It's been an embarrassingly long time since I've been to a Cubby's and that is a tragedy. I forgot how delicious their Tri-Tip Salad is! Every bite is bursting with complimentary flavors and textures and the steak is always tender and a great fatty contrast to an otherwise health-conscious salad. I will most definitely make a note to stop by Cubby's the next time I need a quick but high-quality bite to eat! Their menu deserves to be explored and devoured on a regular basis.

This is the second time they close over 30 minutes before all their hours say they do. Nothing at the door said anything either. They entire staff just stares at you when you're at the door and laugh. At least update your hours. Or least explain why you're closed and be nice. It's not that hard. Update: over an hour before it's supposed to close.

I love taking people to Cubby's, and seeing their reaction to how tasty the food is. Breakfast served Saturday's until 11. The French toast has the perfect crunch, it tastes almost like a dessert. Very clean setup for a meal in the restaurant with the family. Booths are closed off from each other, with TVs available to watch the games. Fresh, and high quality ingredients used in everything. Even if you get a salad, or breakfast, don't forget to order some Rosemary fries for the table. Make sure to try their chipotle fry sauce, and any flavor Whoopie Pie. Pro Tip: Helpful to order ahead online. While this location has a drive thru, this is not a fast food establishment.

I love the Buffalo Chicken Salad! I get it most of the time from here. They do an excellent job with ratio for each salad ingredient. In other words, I don't find I need more lettuce to soak up the dressing or vise versa. Also, the chicken is plenty as well. I do think a tad more Buffalo sauce would be great but that's because I like spicy food. The inside was well kept at this location and the staff did an excellent job taking our orders and bringing the food. On the other hand, I would recommend a smile as the food is brought out to the customers. Keep making great food though!

Another amazing night at Cubby's This is the best location in the Provo/orem area. I used to be a huge patron of the Provo location but there fries are some of the soggiest I have ever tasted. Look at these crisp orem location fries!!!! It's like night and day. I LOVE THE OREM CUBBY'S!

This new location is awesome...mostly because of the drive thru! They were very efficient today even though you could tell that they were doing lots of training. It's about time Orem got a Cubbys! Don't leave here without trying the sweet potato fries, Kale and Wild Rice Salad, whoopie pies, and a blueberry buttermilk shake! Yum!

They have some delicious food. We were impressed by the flavor of their salad and the rosemary fries! The kids meal had a lot of food for a kids meal. We love how fresh their food is! Their portions are not overly large but I feel that they still fill you up! We love the steak salad as well as all of their burgers.

Every single course delivered…read more We started with honey butter and rolls (dangerous in the best way), then moved to the ricotta and focaccia; perfectly balanced and honestly could've stopped there and been happy. But then came the steak, which was flat-out the best I've had in years. No notes. Here's the thing though, I'm not a gnocchi person. Never have been. Our server talked me into it anyway, and I'm genuinely grateful. It's a short rib and stew situation with gnocchi that somehow hits every note perfectly. Total convert now. And the s'mores pie to close out the night? Simply perfect. Don't skip it. The service was great too, our server clearly knew the menu inside and out and steered us exactly right.

However, we did have one drink server where we had some issues with, but our main waitress was lovely. For starters, our table shared the baked ricotta, balsamic glazed brussel sprouts, and bread rolls with honey and butter. The brussel sprouts were good, but the bread rolls were my favorite! They were so incredibly soft and pillowy. They honestly didn't even need the bread and butter! I was most excited for the baked ricotta, but unfortunately it was a disappointment for me. Ricotta is a very mild cheese to begin with, but I tasted absolutely zero flavor from it and it was mostly just adding a textural element to the bread. The fig walnut guanciale jam was overpoweringly sweet and the guanciale was also nonexistent. Overall, what I expected to be a flavorful combination, fell pretty flat and bland for me. Onto the main, I got to try the Block burger and the house made gnocchi. The burger was a standard burger, nothing too crazy. I was surprised the patty was actually moist because it was cooked well done. The same jam from the baked ricotta was used, so wasn't a big fan of it because again the overwhelmingly sweet didn't do much to elevate the burger. I also missed any flavor from the truffle cheese sauce. So it was a pretty average burger. My gnocchi definitely tasted better than it looked. Another friend also got the same dish and it looked like they just split our portions in half and served it on two separate plates. In general, I wasn't a big fan of this dish. The braised short rib was very tender, but the whole plate sat in a pool of salty sauce. I couldn't really make out any other flavors. The scoop of crème fraiche tasted exactly like sour cream and was not the consistency that I expected. The gnocchi's were made well, but I prefer mine a little firmer. However, this is complete personal preference. Overall, service was good, but food fell severely short of what I expected. I was so excited for all of these elevated flavors and ingredients, but, sadly, none of them came through.

I'm pleased to report that my experience could not have been further from that narrative. I ordered the blackened salmon salad and it was exceptional. Perfectly executed, deeply flavorful, and balanced in a way that makes you pause between bites just to appreciate it. At one point I genuinely had to check myself because the sensory enjoyment was so elevated I could have sworn I was on MDMA. I was not. The dish was simply that transporting. The crème brûlée was of Michelin caliber. Silky custard, flawlessly torched sugar crust, ideal sweetness. It stands just behind my own homemade version, which is the highest compliment I can give. The bruschetta was equally refined, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. Service was polished and attentive throughout. Our waitress, short dark hair, excellent presence, anticipated needs without hovering. The only mystery was her missing name tag. Ambience deserves its own praise. The acoustics were perfect, allowing conversation without strain, while a Frank Sinatra style playlist set an elegant, nostalgic tone. For a moment I thought I was listening to one of my own Spotify playlists. Impeccable curation. At one point I noticed lemon trees growing inside the building and briefly questioned whether they were real. They were decorative, but that moment captures how immersive the dining experience felt. No peyote involved, just remarkable execution. A thoroughly elevated meal. Five stars without hesitation.

Again, the service was stellar and not hovering, cheerful but not too familiar, and attentive but in the background. The atmosphere here is quiet and comfortable. While my wife likes to stick with her usual sure fire selection, she's determined next time to be more adventurous. We also like the drink choices including mocktails. Desserts are a problem, since every item is wonderful, although they are probably not made in house. [I've always wondered whose home a homemade was the locus of preparation.] La Jolla will continue to be our star restaurant selection for entertaining special guests from out of town and special occasions in town.
