They are very dismissive, untrained, and tend to give you attitude whenever you need help. I've recently have dealt with an infestation of moths in the unit as well. Upon entry of the building there were a variety of dead bugs in the hallways around certain unit doors. Like I've said, the place has gone downhill at an alarming rate since Mike has left. Never have I had an issue with this location until now.

All access is electronically controlled by PIN pads located throughout the building and each locker has a keyed padlock on it. Depending on your locker size you might get an individually monitored unit alarm, ours had it, smaller lockers might not. The entire building has tons of CCTV cameras located throughout and looks very secure against would be burglars. Cleanliness: Even the bathrooms are secured by PIN pad, if that doesn't tell you the place is kept extremely clean then I don't know what will. Everything is immaculate inside the building with the exception of some scuffs and scratches here and there from people recklessly careening through the halls with loading dollys. Price: I hear it already, I can hear the voices of people saying "that place is expensive" SHUT UP! You get what you pay for. If you want top tier storage with high security and climate control to guarantee that your sensitive vinyl record collection and high end computers stay safe during your move you're going to need a company like Safeguard. Bottom line: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Don't skimp on protecting your stuff if you have high value items. If you're just storing a bunch of boxes of clothes and general housewares you probably don't need a fancy storage provider with climate controlled indoor storage and can go for an outdoor locker. All that said, for what we were storing, records and high value computing and storage arrays along with a plethora of other sensitive electronics it was well worth the extra money knowing our stuff was safely stored under climate controlled lock and key. Location: It's right off the highway which makes it easy to get to with a large truck and their loading dock can accommodate most any truck you can throw at it. Loading Dock: An enclosed loading dock is a nice plus especially when it's suddenly started raining and you want to unload your truck into storage. Unloading dollies are provided and all were in good working order when I was there. Bottom Line: If you are looking for top notch storage this is your place. If you are storing low value items that don't need climate control then you might be better served elsewhere.

I've been a customer for about 8 years and have always found the personnel to be accommodating to my changing needs. I've had the pleasure of working with current manager Kathleen Grant for a while and she goes above and beyond to ensure I get the right space I need. She even informed me that I qualified for a senior discount, which I appreciated. I'll say one more thing. I use another local storage facility for vehicle storage. The facility itself and the staff is not up the same standard as Extra Space.

And my unit was on the second floor, so you know they are all over. This place is infested and when I moved out and found the infestation, I called the office and spoke to two people (one was a manager) who were both completely unapologetic and indifferent. Moral of the story is that they know there are rodents and don't care. It is clear they have done nothing to control the problem as no evidence of rodent exclusion and reduction was seen on the grounds. They also closed the one large loading dock to get more storage units in and now a moving truck can't even pull in to unload. This took way longer to move, plus the time it took to clean and disinfect my belongings and had to pitch some stuff as well. I guess they don't care if they inconvenience their customers as long as they can get the maximum rent - which by the way increases almost every month. Plenty of other newer and less gross storage places around. See pics. Edit: "Emily" the Business Manager posted a number to call to get help with this matter. The number so to the front office, where they never pick up the phone and a manager is not present. I called this morning and spoke to two separate people. One of the first crew put shelf holders in his bag from our bar shelving, and was not part of the second crew, so we can't unpack the bar. They never offered to bring them back to us. Told us to go buy them. They also gashed in the corner of one of the night stands and never told us, and now, when I try to call them, it goes directly to voice mail and they never call back. I paid cash so there was no recourse through a credit card company to dispute the charge. They picked up our furniture on July 11, 2026, held it for 2 nights in 2 trucks. The second truck was only about 1/4 filled. They were scheduled to deliver to our new address at 1 pm on Monday, July 13th, at 1 pm. They arrived an hour early and our closing wasn't complete until 12:30. All the boxes were packed by us, were colored coded and marked for every room. Many of the boxes were placed in the wrong rooms or left in the garage and we had to carry heavy boxes into the correct areas. One box of record albums was completely broken. Don't ever ever rely on them to move you! they are terrible! This battle is not over!
