I called customer service to follow up on my refund and was told they did not prorate rent. This is contrary to what I'd been told in person. Had I been given correct information by the person working there, I'd have vacated sooner. I was also told by customer service that they would investigate this situation and get back to me but never did. $185 was a lot of money to donate to a company giving out incorrect information. Don't trust what they tell you!

It feels predatory, especially for anyone who is out of town or in a situation where checking every monthly statement isn't immediate. To be clear, the staff I spoke with were professional when I finally got someone on the phone. But the pricing practices here are the problem.
