Ive had a storage unit here for awhile, and boy was it awful, in the beginning it was fine, making monthly payments on time, etc. then our unit got broken into, completely traded and valued items stolen. in the rough time we were in this was devastating. Yes we filed for compensation but the storage unit did absolutely nothing like this was a normal accurance and did nothing but say "oh we fired the dude". then just a couple weeks later, they call saying our storage is up for auction. Like what do you mean!? We just got broken into and now you're gonna put it up for auction? Horrible. We payed the bill ofc and after that everything went more smoothly until yet again then put It up for auction and already had a buyer, and at this point they are just milking us because my mom did not have 300$ to pay for storage after we JUST moved in to our apartment. and most of her money got put down to that. We still found a way because uhm that's our stuff? After that we took everything out of storage and they sent a review thing ask how was the experience. And this is my review to them that our experience was horrible. But the blond worker was super kind so toots to her. read more

this is a typical storage facility where they try to squeeze every dollar out of you. They overcharged us and I had to call email multiple times to finally get them to reverse that. They make you take renters insurance with $300,000 liability which nobody has so I just increased my own policy for a dollar a month more instead of their $20 a month so be aware of that scam. Worst customer service ever rude people hanging up on you. They never answer the phone and when they do the general manager, it's never anywhere near the business. Totally unprofessional avoid at all cost !!!!!! read more

I've been storing with CubeSmart for over 2 years now I pay for my units yearly to save money I have units at 409 South McClintock as well as their Annex property up the street which over the past 4 months has went downhill for one thing the gates don't work not properly lit human feces in the hallways people living in units no proper on-site management the camera system is a far cry from what they advertise as a secure environment to store your stuff trash piled up in hallways especially by trash can so my suggestion think twice before reading here but if you do be prepared for the unknown as I am moving my stuff out as soon as possible read more

What kind of lousy customer service makes an elderly woman wait outside in over 100 degree heat for a truck!

The Customer service at this location is top notch. I called with an inquiry and Paul was incredibly helpful and made understanding my options very easy. Was able to find a unit very quickly. Upon arrival, Jenny was super nice and equally helpful with getting me set up and familiar with the storage property. Their moving truck was tremendously helpful in moving my belongings. It was very nice to take a usually expensive extra step out of the moving process. they were so awesome that I was able to get my old roommates to use them within a few days after myself. Because of that I will be able to take advantage of the great referral incentive this location has as well. they made getting my 1st storage unit very easy and stress free so I want to thank both Paul and Jenny for that! read more

OMG, this place rocks for storage. Manager Stacey and On-Site Manager Chris were awesome. They could not help me enough, were very profession and friendly and helped me with options I would have otherwise not known about. They made an ordinary storage experience, extra ordinary. They really work to help the customers out, which is amazing in itself, but they really went above and beyond what they really had to to inform and make this experience great. read more

You can get a much more secure unit for the same price. My unit was burglarized and after filing a report with the Tempe PD-turns out they get quite a few calls in this place. You can see where their fence has been cut and the barbed wire is smashed down in areas for access. Getting a unit and paying is easy enough no complaints there but overall, secure your valuables elsewhere. read more

This is the second time I have used this particular location. Jenny and her staff have been more than helpful. The prices are competitive, the facility is safe and secure. They also offer a complimentary truck to use for moving items in and out of your unit. A very personable staff! Would recommend to anyone! read more

Best customer service I have received in a long time! Paul was extremely helpful and accommodating and made my move so much easier and pleasant! The reservation process on line was easy, the pricing is great and I received a call confirming my reservation the next business day as promised. The website advertises a free 2hr moving truck rental, but the manager said I could use it for 4hrs at no charge. The day I went in to sign my lease, Paul offered for me to use the truck the entire day at no charge and waived the deposit. It is a family run location and it shows by their flexibility and helpfulness. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone In the area! read more

They lie alot and talk to you in a very degrading manner. Don't let them bully you into buying the renters insursnce, which you get half the price from your car insurance yet, (or anywhere). They'll lie about it not being correct coverage. They make commission and sales goals from it, so unfortunately they will try to harass you into it. I had my own so used my own cell phone and my agent faxed it to him. He tried to say it didnt cover offsite storage. Just ignore that. The office lady also will lie about the dumpster being full but when you look in it, you'll see its empty. She tried to threaten me with a 50.00 fine for putting an empty box next to it. Guess how I handled it? Moved out the next week to arizona storage west on 1st street. Message me for exact name if you need a decent place. The manager who lives at cube smart drives high speed, makes reckless turns into the lot without slowing down, so be careful he doesn't hit you head on. The new place I'm at, everyone is fun and happy and we joke around. It's cheaper also. It has dumpsters for you as well. Cubesmart must have them for compliance but customers not allowed to use and the top is locked...but you can lift the corner seeing it's completely empty. Filthy liars. read more

In searching for a storage facility, this one by far has the best customer service along with very good rental prices. The online process went very smoothly and within 45 mins, I received a phone call from Jenny. She was very nice and professional in going through my needs. When I went into the facility to finalize my paperwork, again Jenny was very thorough and answered all my questions. They also offer packing materials and locks that are at very good prices. i called this facility and spoke to a manager named Jenny and was completely mislead and not informed of any of the charges that would be added to the first month payment. i loaded my pickup to the top, stopped at Lowes to buy locks and was thoroughly disappointed once i got the full breakdown of pricing from Jenny at the location.... I decided not to rent from cubesmart due to the pricing surprise... Thanks Jenny for wasting 3 hours of my day... My wife, newborn, and other kids appreciate the time that you wasted as well..
