STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS -- OR IT WILL COST YOU A LOT! I'm being completely serious. Do not believe their advertising claims about being "backed by advanced security features..." Just find another storage facility with real security. If this is what they consider "advanced," I can't imagine what their basic security looks like. We rented one of their storage units a couple of months ago. When they showed us the units, we noticed the massive openings above the unit doors. We were concerned and asked about it. One of the on-site managers assured us that "nothing has ever happened," and that "it was a totally safe place." We trusted them. As you can see in the pictures, the holes above the doors are so large that a person could easily fit through--even someone with a belly. Our unit was located right next to a camera, and there were several other cameras outside the building, including ones facing the entrance. There was a coded gate, coded building access, and at least two or three security cameras--yet they still couldn't figure out who stole our stuff. Yes, our belongings were stolen, and they didn't notice the break-in at all. When we reported it, they couldn't determine when it happened or who did it. Really??? Whoever broke in clearly took their time. They went through our drawers, bags, and boxes, and only took the valuable items that could fit through the hole. The insurance only covered $5,000--but what we lost was worth far more than that. Now tell me: How did the thief know which unit had valuables? How did they get past the electronic gate with a code? How did they access the building door, also secured with a code? And finally, how did they manage to steal our items right in front of the cameras without being seen? read more

With these in place, you can rest assured that we take your items' safety seriously". THIS IS NOT CORRECT!!!. Theft prevails and suggest you research before signing up for unit and hope you do not become a victim of theft. Management does not care and will not address design flaws of units, never following up on what appears to be people living in units and why is the foot traffic in and out of gate...but no vehicle. read more

This was a great experience! The place is clean, feels safe and I had no issues while holding my stuff here. There was a billing issue about moment and Christine was extremely helpful and took care of it for me quickly. 2nd time customer, 2nd location. I love the indoor storage solutions they offer. Higher ceilings and clean cool storage units. This latest unit was set up entirely over the phone, I never needed to walk in the office and rented sight unseen. After agreeing to the terms and contracts online I was sent a gate code and promised a free lock for my unit. I got the best price in town for the space, very happy. read more

The facility was good but their billing department did nothing less then steal from me. Not sure if the manager actually tired or just said he contacted district manager. I also tried to contact them myself, ultimately sending an email, no response. It is the 1st time & my last time I will ever do autopay. Luckily, I looked at my statement every month. My unit cost was $62 & change. With summer extreme heat it was just too hot to go there & what I needed for 3 months was going to be 5 months. On my 4th month statement they took out $111 & change. You can imagine how upset I was. Called the manger & very nicely told him the problem (why yell & scream). Autopay was authorized for $62. I told the manager I wanted a refund, that they were not authorized to take any old amount they wanted from my account, and almost double at that. He stated the company sends out postcards with intended rent increase. I DID NOT RECEIVE ONE AND DO NOT HAVE MAIL MISSING FROM ANY OTHER SENDERS. I told the manager if I had received a notice I would of moved out before before $111 was going to be charged! He contacted his district manager I was told no refund & they would come down to $70 a month. I moved out yesterday. This company straight up stole from my account. I was not notified of any increase nor did they have permission to take $111 out of my account. read more

I was in a bind and needed a large until immediately. Everyone I encountered was extremely helpful and went above and beyond my expectations! The rental process was simple and hassle free! I was able to get a promotional deal which gave me one month free! This particular location is very nice, clean and I would definitely recommend Extra Space Storage!!
