I usually go the to Cubico Coffee at the Davie location on Griffin. I was in this area and saw this one. Never been to this location before. Stopped by on a weekday morning around 9:30am and it was fairly quiet. Only one other patron at a table. This location is quite small compared to the other one. There is very limited seating with 2 low top tables and chairs inside, 2 barstools at the coffee order counter and 2 barstools up against the wall next to the area where you get sugar, napkins, stirrers. There were also 2 hightop tables and chairs outside, but it was too hot to sit outside. I knew I wanted the Lavender Haze coffee, that's their lavender taro flavored latte that is usually my favorite. Service was just ok. Nothing to write home about. I also don't love that they hide out in the back and only come out when they see someone come in or need service at the register. It's crazy but the coffees here are so pricey at $8.05 + $2 tip + tax = $10.61 for a 16oz latte. I come here mainly for the Lavender Taro latte because it's a unique flavor. I noticed when the barista made my latte that there was wet powder residue on the side of my cup. Kind of disappointing to know my latte I just paid $11 for is a powdered flavor latte? Cute coffee shop in a shopping center with lots of parking. Was relatively empty for a Sunday, but we did go close to 12 so that might be why. The inside is decorated very nicely. Not a lot of seating inside as it's on the smaller side but the coffee was great! We tried the cubi blue latte and lavender haze latte. We liked the taste of cubi blue better. They only had two food items available for us to eat so that was disappointing, but the coffee made up for it. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Sticking with the strong five star rating at this Regency Square West Davie coffee shop with only a minor suggestion to add. Today I had an Americano with their propietary 4-blend roasted coffee grinds which complement each other and provide a well balanced taste. Each coffee served in-shop consists of this Cubico Coffee 4-blend, although they offer bags of fresh coffee beans providing an assortment of different blends, which can be purchased for home brewing. My suggestion is maybe change up the "4-blend" every few months to provide a new variation and coffee experience to excite my taste buds on future visits - again, just a java fanatic's opinion. In addition, it was a beautiful morning, so decided to change it up and sat on the sidewalk patio table. Came here for some coffee and some pastries. We were a little late (11am) so we didn't get to choose from a lot of options. We ordered a regular latte, kids warm cocoas, a cinnamon bun latte (1/2 sweet) and 3 croissants (one almond and two pain). The coffee was good! The service was good. This cute chain of a coffee shop is tucked away in a shopping plaza in the middle of nowhere (just kidding) - just conveniently right off the highway. It is near my orthodontist office and it was a nice treat after taking care of my teeth. It's a small, quaint, and cool shop. One of their best sellers is the Shaken Espresso so I got it iced - as a recommendation from the person who took my order. It was between that and the Lavendar Haze drink. I was really craving coffee and sure enough the espresso in the Shaken was strong and I really appreciated that. Some coffee drinks are more milk. But this the Shaken Espresso is a nice balance between a black-coffee drinker and a milky-coffee drinker. So it was perfect for me. They also had a glass casing for pastries. I saw nutella-flavored pastries but again, just left the ortho so felt kind of guilty already. Will def stop by more often! read more

I love the other Cúbico Coffee location in Davie so I really wanted to check this other location out as well. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere of the cafe is casual but they put so many details in their design that it is just enjoyable to look around the shop. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and there was no wait to order. Within a few minutes of ordering, we received our drinks and croissants. It didn't seem as busy as the other location which made it way quicker for us to order and get everything. I had my favorite lavender haze with mac nut milk and the almond croissant. The lavender haze has delicious taro flavoring and the drink is a perfect balance between the taro and coffee. My almond croissant was perfectly filled and flakey. My fiancé ordered the Cinna Bun coffee and ham and cheese croissant. His Cinna Bun coffee with mac nut milk was absolutely delicious. Both coffees above are probably my favorites here now. He loved his ham and cheese croissant as well. It was warmed up perfectly and had the flakey outer layer. Couldn't have been happier with the location, food/drink quality, and service. read more

I ordered my coffees to go but the mugs they had were very cute have to try them next time. I ordered a black americano which was good, which I feel you can tell a lot about the coffee used bc it's not diluted with so maybe things like milks and syrups. Also ordered a vanilla latte with Cubico-clue cold form. I wanted to try the Cubico blue latte but wasn't sure and they wondered lady taking my order suggested trying the blue as a cold form instead. What an amazing experience we had at Cubico! Sebastian took the time to teach us about coffee and the beans. There is so much that goes into making coffee that it makes me appreciate a really good cup. Initially, we ordered the Lavender Taro with oat milk. It was delicious. I loved the flavor that they'd come up with- sweet, nutty, and creamy. We're not big on black coffee but we were curious about the single origin beans, which you can choose from when you order a pour over. We let Sebastian choose two drastically different beans for us to compare. Both were goooood, and I personally could tell the difference. I leaned toward the darker, more chocolatey roast (Papa New Guinea). But the lighter, fruitier roast (Colombia) was good too! I never thought I'd enjoy a cup of black coffee as much as I did. It's really cool seeing someone so passionate about their work. I can't wait to try more of the single origins and try Sebastian's recs around Miami! A note about ambiance- it's quiet enough to study and the are some bites if you get hungry. Parking- free in the area :) Cost- pretty high, a lot of thought is put into choosing and roasting the beans & it is family run so to me, it's worth it. Located just off I-75 and Griffin Road, this coffee shop is in a strip mall behind small office complexes. We arrived around 2 pm looking for a little snack and some coffee. The shop was a bit smaller than anticipated and there was only two tables in there with a couple stools to sit at the pick up area. At that time there was only plain or ham & cheese croissants available, so we opted for just coffee. Some of the prices were a bit high even for a niche coffee shop, and not all items are offered in multiple sizes. We opted to try the Cubi-blue since it was their named coffee and blue thanks to blue spirulina. It was quite sweet most likely due to the condensed coconut milk so it definitely needed to be stirred well. I definitely would find it hard to justify the almost $8 for this coffee again. Would like to give it a try earlier to have a wider choice of eats so I may try to visit another location. read more

Every time I have gone to this plaza it has been later in the evening, and Cubico Coffee has been closed - so this coffee place has been on my radar for quite some time and I really wanted to love it. I didn't. Service was friendly once someone offered to help me. There were many people behind the counter chatting. I asked a few questions and then ordered drinks for my husband and I. Drinks: large latte with oat milk & sugar free caramel syrup AND large shaken espresso with oat milk. My total: $17 and change - close to $18 for really nothing special. Atmosphere: the space is pretty small there are some bar stools around the counter, a bar area against the wall and 2 tables. They also have 2 tables outside with 4 total stools. The tables inside were taken by people working on their laptops. Neither had even a remnant of a coffee cup. Not that that is the place's fault but don't go and expect to be able to sit comfortably and enjoy your $8 coffee - take it to go. The overall site is clean. Conversation is all behind the counter with the employees making their own coffees and talking with themselves. I find it hard to believe everyone behind the counter was an employee or scheduled as it wasn't that busy to warrant that many people. All in all. It definitely was a one and done for me. I never knew this existed but saw it on Yelp after visiting their newer location a bit more East in Davie. This location isn't my favorite as it's a bit smaller and the one time I went, they were out of a few things during my visit which is fine but a bit disappointing. The service was also okay in comparison to the other location with lukewarm greetings and service while the other Davie location had such a friendly and warm staff. I must be a glutton for punishment, because I decided to give Cubico Coffee a second chance. While I wasn't impressed with their tea or their handling of allergens before, I figured a coffee shop couldn't mess up coffee, right? Oh, how wrong I was. I came in to order a bag of fresh-roasted Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee as a gift for a friend. The ordering process seemed really straightforward and simple - you come in, place the order for the quantity and type you want, they text you when it's ready, and you come pick it up in a day or two. I asked the girl at the register for "a 12 oz bag of whole bean, medium roast, Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee". She confirmed with me, "the Jamaican one right?" and put the order through. However when I came to pick it up, what they gave me was a bag of some "Blue Diamond Blend". Not what I asked for. The staff offered a really lackluster apology and then tried to get me to take the bag because "it has 40% Blue Mountain". Yeah, well I wanted 100%! They then almost charged me the difference for a 16 oz bag instead of the 12 oz I originally asked for. In all of this, there was no offer of a discount or a serious apology for wasting my time. I had to make yet another trip down to pick up what I can only hope is the correct product. If I hadn't needed it on short notice, I'd have canceled the order entirely and gone elsewhere. As it is, I'm really questioning the quality of this bag based on the level of service - let's hope everyone's reviews here about the taste of the coffee are at least somewhat accurate. I guess if you visit, make sure you double check your receipt and don't just blindly trust that you're actually getting what you asked for. read more

A bit pricey for coffee ($6 if you get an iced latte with milk substitute ($1)) but definitely good quality. I've had both the iced and hot oat milk lattes, and both are great. They also have a decaf option, which didn't have as bold of a flavor as their caffeinated coffee, but I'm willing to give it another try since it's great as an afternoon option. I've also had the brownie cheesecake and the croissant. Brownie cheesecake was pricey again ($7.95) but good. It was also more brownie than cheesecake than I expected. The plain croissant had the nice crunchy flaky exterior with soft layers inside, and at least it was $2.95 (the more complex croissants were much more expensive ~avg $6). You can study/work there as there are outlets and WiFi, but just know that there are only two square tables and a bar table inside and two tables outside. Will definitely come back when I want to treat myself to good coffee. read more

They roast their own beans, so you know you're getting freshly roasted coffee. The inside decor was very cool and I loved the wood beams and fake grass on the walls. We went with an Iced Shaken Espresso and a Hot Peppermint Mocha Cappuccino. The peppermint flavor was barely noticeable, but the coffee quality was fantastic. The food is also delicious! i got a nutella croissant and i haven't stopped thinking about it since i ate it. For my drink i asked one of the workers what he recommended and he told me to try the nutella latte so i got that with oat milk and wow it was delicious!
