I was on FaceTime with my wife as she was telling me how she found her drink to be too sweet and simply wanted a small cup of water to dilute it while still enjoying her coffee. She politely approached the truck and was told that they do not provide cups of water and that bottled water was available for purchase. When she explained she only wanted a little water to finish her drink, she was again told no and encouraged to buy a bottle instead. She politely declined and returned to her table where my kids were. As she was explaining the interaction to me and my son, an employee who had been cleaning a nearby table abruptly interrupted the conversation and said, "If you want free water, go to Starbucks." My wife was understandably surprised and said, "Excuse me?" The woman then made it very clear that she was the owner and proceeded to say things such as: "What coffee shop gives free water?" "Why do people always want everything for free?" "If you don't like our ways, you can leave and go to Starbucks." My wife calmly explained that she had not come there to argue, especially over a cup of water that had already been denied and was no longer a big deal. She also reminded the owner that we were paying customers and had not asked for anything for free. In fact, my wife had generously tipped before being treated this way. I told my wife to keep me on the phone and I seen the owner continuing to pace around my wife ranting about people wanting things for free. Another employee, who appeared to be her daughter, was heard telling her in Spanish, "Ma, ya, basta" ("Mom, enough"), but the owner continued. She then sarcastically offered my wife sink water now and remarked, "You can drink it at your own risk," but while continuing to tell her to leave and go somewhere else for free water. The entire interaction was bizarre, awkward, and honestly shocking. My wife and kids sat there completely puzzled and offended. I told my wife to leave and she did but not before telling the owner that they would gladly leave but that, as a business owner herself, she should work on her customer service before running her business into the ground over her mouth. What was most surprising was that other customers witnessed the exchange too. I heard over the phone while my wife was walking out a customer say "that's not right". My wife said the couple also got up and left too. Overall, between the overpriced coffee, lack of Wi-Fi that my wife said they told her they don't share with customers and most importantly the incredibly rude and unprofessional treatment by the owner herself, this is not a place we will be ever visiting again or recommending as locals. All that unprofessional treatment over my wife asking for a cup of water to dilute their overly sweet and overpriced drinks, what a joke. read more

Maybe I came on a bad day but this experience today really fell flat for me. I had heard so many good things about this place and was excited to finally visit with my mom and grandparents. It was a beautiful day out and the atmosphere at Rosso was immaculate. I love all the open seating, the hammocks, and the peaceful sounds of the wind chimes in the breeze. My grandfather fell asleep in the hammock and I could have comfortably sat there for hours. Unfortunately, everything was limited today. No food, no pastries, no matcha. There was only one person on staff inside the truck who was available for additional questions with the ring of a bell. I ordered a lavender latte which was really subpar. I barely drank half of it and was relieved when I finally tossed it. My mom and grandparents ordered iced teas and no one was really impressed with their beverages. I want to come back another day to give Rosso another chance and hope that it's a completely different experience. read more

This is seriously the cutest outdoor coffee spot ever. My boss and I were looking for a place to co-work and decided to stop by Rosso, and it felt like it was made for people who love working outside but still want something aesthetic and cozy. The space was beautiful, and it looked like they partnered with an event planner to decorate it with a Valentine's theme, which I absolutely loved. It added such a fun, thoughtful touch and made the whole atmosphere feel extra special. Rosso Coffee Club in Broward Palms is known for its hammocks, artisanal coffee, and trendy drinks and it has quickly become a spot adored by Instagramers and Tik Tokers. One look around this serene setting it is easy to understand why. They have turned their seating area into a tropical escape. Rosso Coffee Club was founded by Karen Blankenzee. Karen traveled the world but it was in Korea that she found her passion for coffee. She opened her first coffee shop in the Marketplace at Avalon Park in Central Florida where she also owns a manufacturing space where she roasts her specialty beans to medium to prevent any bitterness. Along with her Avalon space and this truck in Davie, she also owns espresso bars in Australia. I stopped in for caffeinated refreshment but they also have a food truck that offered breakfast menu all day with eggs, sandwiches, burgers, and chicken tenders. I ordered a mocha iced latte but they had many interesting options including smores. lavender, matcha, and Dubai chocolate. My coffee was expertly prepared by the friendly staff and in no time at all I was laying in a hammock underneath the trees and twinkling lights, beverage in hand as I felt all of the stress from the previous week leave my body. Came here for a matcha ! Got the cloud matcha with coconut water. Doesn't really seem like a usual cloud drink. Creamier than I've had from other places. It has little coconut shavings on top. This used to be one of my favorite coffee places because they are great at what they do- all around. Today's visit was a huge disappointment. There is this really sweet lady who is passionate about doing what she does and she is great at it. Unfortunately, she was nowhere to be seen today, instead there were three ladies bustling around the tiny space taking forever to push out the orders. The ham and cheese croissant was super salty, won't ever get it again. The croquetas were falling apart. Cheese danish was mediocre at best. The matcha affogato was a glob of butter pecan ice cream with little bit of matcha on the side. They only had two ice cream flavors available. My mother in law ordered a dragon jasmine tea with honey and it didn't come out sweet enough for her taste. I went back to the window to ask if they can add more honey to which one of the ladies gave me a small cup with little bit of honey inside, said your welcome (with forced and slammed the window shut. The customer service just wasn't there. I regret tipping on top of $52 order which was just a disappointment. There will be a next time for sure because some of their coffees are just that good. But if the lady who's usually working isn't there I am not wasting my time or the money. Will gladly take my business somewhere else! Came here on a Saturday night with my friends. I was excited to try the different drinks I saw on Instagram. This is a coffee cafe with light bites. They do not sale alcoholic drinks. I noticed they had sandwiches, a few salads on the menu and an extensive hot and cold coffee and tea menu. Unfortunately when we arrived they were out of Many items. I couldn't get the drinks or bites I wanted to I settled for what the girl recommended which was a light and bubly drink with peach puree. I have to say it was good. It also had dried fruit to garnish and eat. All my friends loved their drinks, mostly teas. What drew us to this spot was a social media post advertising that they had a DJ, cigars and hookah. When we arrived, they had coffee shop music playing, no DJ, the cigars weren't for sale bc they were stale and we did not see one hookah. They have a dominoes table so we killed time by playing a few rounds, then left. The experience want what was advertised. The place is outdoors and super cute hawaii or carribean vibes. They have lights at night time, some hammocks, fire pit and tables. Mosquitoes were present so go prepared. I would return to try the coffees or more drinks because they were good but the experience advertised, was a let down. This place is more to chill outdoor and vibe. Found this place through Instagram bc of the viral pumpkin brûlée coffee that is ofc served INSIDE a pumpkin. The insta millennial in me knew I had to immediately come here and get my insta worthy shot. And I did. :) and it was great! The coffee was good. The outdoor setup is cute & unique. I love the hammocks & the parakeets . Its nicely shaded by palm trees & immediately gives a relaxing vibe. We went Friday morning there was plenty parking,no lines. Rosso's is... how do I put it? A little bipolar. I've gone twice, once on a weekday & once on a weekend. The experience is completely different depending on the day you go. Weekday - You can expect a peaceful & calm environment. You'll get your order fairly quickly. Weekend - You'll get a show of people arguing to park. Expect to wait minimum an hour to get your order. The vibe is completely killed as everyone there looks annoyed and constantly complaining. The space itself is cute. There's plenty of seating, some fans, shading, hammocks. Keep in mind: YOU ARE OUTSIDE AND THIS IS FLORIDA. Be prepared to sweat and be humid. The staff is honestly nice and doing what they can. They are in a tiny truck & not equipped for such a high volume of orders. Unfortunately their marketing was a bit too good. I've only tried their drinks and they were good. Finally stopped by this local coffee shop on weekday afternoon. There's a small parking lot. They were out of all food. You order via a tablet and if you have any questions you need to ring a bell for someone to help you, which was a bit awkward as they keep the truck closed otherwise. I tried to order a cloud matcha with coconut water but the tablet said they were out of coconut water. I tried an iced matcha with medium agave/honey for sweetness. The matcha was a bit bitter although I am a big matcha fan so it didn't bother too much with the sweetener. Someone tried the iced strawberry hibiscus tea and I didn't care for it. The tea tasted very artificial. The space itself was shaded with a beautiful outdoor space. The menu has a range of dessert like coffee treats to try which make it feel unique, although they are a bit pricey at apx $14 a drink. Upon arriving it was easy to place an order, however, they said it's a 45 minute wait for all coffees! So be prepared to wait. - lattes are around $6-8, they have some sandwiches on their menu. It is quite pricey and the parking isn't ideal. However, they have police nearby to assist. ~$13 for a Dubai latte, $1 extra for oat milk. This is a really cute coffee shop. When you enter, the parking is the first one to the right. We made the mistake and went to the back to park but that is for the barbecue place that is next door. As soon as we parked, it started to rain and I thought we weren't going to enjoy it, but they have seating that is covered! So they are prepared for rain or shine! It's outdoor seating so come dress for the weather. There's also a cute golden arch mirror where you can take pictures in front of. The staff were very friendly and even gave us suggestions about what to order. We ordered the Dulce de leche croissant, the honey cinnamon latte and Dubai chocolate latte. The coffee is top notch I always judge a place by their regular coffee or Americano and Rosso did not disappoint. I had them add a touch of evaporated milk to my Americano and OMG did that make the difference. I had a taste of the wifeys Tiramisu Latte and it was delicious. There is a good amount of parking and even more seating outside, some regular tables and some cool hammocks. The lady behind the window was friendly and helpful. I got an iced vanilla cortadito which was pretty good! There was a bit of an aftertaste, I think it was their vanilla, assuming they make a homemade vanilla syrup, but I could be wrong!
