We are blessed to have many options of Peruvian restaurants in south Florida that are great, but the hardest part is finding restaurants that have excellent dishes all around. For example, the restaurant may have good ceviche, but their mains aren't strong. They may have great mains, but their desserts just don't hit authentically. Olenka Peruvian Restaurant hits the nail on the head in every area! I was genuinely impressed how much range their menu carries plus, the flavor was not lacking in any round. I was looking for a Peruvian coffee shop who procures coffee from multiple local sources across the South America, and this was a place that came up in my recommendation I was extremely impressed by the amount of selection that they had from different parts of South American regions and they procure from local farmers as well. They had a great selection of snacks that we could order from their empanadas were shaped differently, but tasted delicious. I also tried their pistachio croissant and the filling inside the croissant was out of the world. We ordered cappuccino and Cortada in which Cortado was not very warm. Not an issue for me, but other people might consider this bad professionally. I am diving into my new favorite Peruvian restaurant . Located in Westin, this is my new go to spot prior to going to a panthers game. There menu is spectacular. All the appetizers were so good, it's hard to pick a favorite, but I am pretty obsess with their empanadas, as they top them with sugar, and their Pulpo Parilla. Their take on a traditional causa is a must try. I like that its fried, so its crispy on the outside. Perfection. Obviously, we have to try the tiraditos and the ceviche! Now, my go to is the Chupe de Camarones, and this one definitely hit the mark! I highly recommend it. All of their entrees were packed with flavor and give you the traditional Peruvian vibe. We were greeted by a friendly server who sat my buddy and I. She provided us beautiful pink menus and explained the coffee options. We sat inside overlooking the outside patio and water. We ordered the Peruvian expresso and an Americano coffee which is actually Peruvian grinds. Both came to the table hot within three minutes. It's impressive the amount of folks here right now on a Thursday at 11:30 a.m. I had a sudden urge for brunch but didn't want to cook! Since they're in our neighborhood, I thought it would be just the right little getaway from a work project! I started with a chicken empanada which they served with a lime wedge. What a disaster of a night. I didn't let my anger overcome me because I didn't want to ruin the evening with my family. Came here for Valentine's Day and hardly anyone was there when we arrived. Ordered white and red sangria and got 2 white. Ordered 2 appetizers and then ordered dinner. Dinner comes out and we said we never received the appetizers. The server said oh, let me check and he took the dinners back. Peru wins the Empanada Game I'm still thinking about that empanada... I've never really heard anything about Peruvian empanadas prior to Olenka and now I can't stop thinking about them. We were asked if we wanted powder sugar on it, as that is how it's traditionally served in Peru, so we obviously got one with powder and the other one without so we can conduct our experiment. The creamy chicken was enveloped by the beautiful crust. It was light. It was flavorful. It was masterful. Picking a favorite dish is close to impossible. They were all good in their own ways. The anticucho was served with yummy cheese curds. The huancaina sauce was addicting and I may have growled anytime someone tried to remove the empty plate. I had always wanted to try the Peruvian pesto pasta and this one exceeded any expectation I could have had. There was so much fresh fish in the ceviche, I felt so satisfied. The crunchy wonton strips turned a classic to something fun. Last but not least... the pan con chicharrón. That bread was fresh. The sandwich was stuffed with sweet potatoes, flavorful chicharrón and pickled onions. Wow. It doesn't look remarkable from the outside but step inside and you are transported by the darling interior where festive flowers accent the turquoise, pink, and white color scheme. The first time I heard and went here was because of an yelp event and since than I have come here a couple times because I love it so much. It is a little place that if you blink, you will miss it but you should... no, need to turn around and go back to it because of how good the food here is. The interior is stunning and they have an entire wall of flowers making it very photo and Instagram worthy. It is easily one of the most aesthetic bakeries that I can think of in the area of Weston. The prices are great as well and the staff is super friendly making sure your visit and order go off without a hitch to make sure you come back again and again. Each time that I have gone here I get the Pan Con Chicharron and the price of it is roughly eleven dollars after tax. The sandwich is massive and an insane steal for that price! It has fried pork, sweet potatoes, onions (that you can get on the side if you want) and a little bit cilantro inside. It has a good amount of pork meat inside and will keep you full and ready for a food coma for a nice amount of time after eating it. I also had one of their Oreo cups and while it was very good and just the right amount of sweet, at six dollars for it I do not know if I would get it again unless I was craving it badly. everyone needs to check this place out at least once! read more

Finally came here after my friend has been telling me to come for the longest time and now I am internally beating myself up for not coming sooner! Everything we ordered was just *CHEF'S KISS*! Came here with a girlfriend for her belated birthday lunch but boy did this experience feel like a treat for me too! The moment you walk in, you are struck in awe of the Parisian floral aesthetic and are greeted with a friendly smile. The young man was so friendly and patient as we asked so many questions and for recommendations. He even let us sample the juices (tropical and chicha morada -- both very refreshing and delicious). My friend recommended me to try the Tiramisu latte, which was yummy and rich -- it somehow reminded me of hot chocolate, which was very appropriate because it was quite cold inside (BTW: they do have outdoor seating). Now onto the food, she ordered the classic trio sandwich (avocado, tomato, egg salad) and it reminded me of those crustless sandwiches you'd enjoy in a beautiful picnic at a breezy meadow or park. I had the pan con chicharron which was to-die-for -- it had sweet potato waffle fries inside, thick chunks of tender pork, and a good amount of onions dressed in some lemon juice perhaps to just cut into the fat so it didn't feel greasy at all. It was such a huge sandwich that I didn't finish!! Perhaps it's also because my friend and I shared a spinach and cheese croissant (another good rec she shared) and that was so buttery, flaky, and super tasty! We also split an apple pie strudel which I kind of wished I had one to myself because it was just so yummy and not horrifically sweet like most baked goods/danishes. But then I'm also glad we shared because I got us the chocolucama cake to try so she can try lucuma. AMAZING DESSERT. OH MY GOSH. Funny, the guy from the cashier brought us the food and I had thought he forgot the cheesecake. But after we finished eating, he came out with the cake and pleasantly said "I hope you guys have room for dessert!" Super friendly AND very attentive. Found out about this place do the yelp elite event that's going on for October Hispanic heritage month. This cute hidden bakery is located in Weston, FL right off of Royal Palm Boulevard exit. The menu has some touches of Peruvian style foods. This places has changed its settings and operations I guess in its entirety... A year ago when we came here. It was nice and cozy. You can just order and sit down. None will bother you. But now they have changed this place to a "please waited to be seated" place....none greet you when you walk in. the guy who works up front just star at you and said nothing.
