Came here to try the matcha and do some work! I like that any syrup can be turned into a cold foam! I did a matcha latte with lavender cold foam. I did not add anything else to the matcha. If you're really picky about your matcha I would recommend you get the coffee. I felt like it satisfied my matcha crave but I wish it was stronger. The staff was super friendly and the matcha came out fast! There are a good amount of tables to sit down at and outlets for you to charge your laptop. The food looked good, so I need to try the next next I go!

Haute coffee is definitely expanding in the south Florida area slowly but surely! I had first learned of them when they only had a food truck style location in Davie now they have I think one or two brick and mortar locations. The inside is very modern and lively. It often has a lot of clients and sometimes finding a table is a little difficult. They have a wide selection of coffee variations, and Matcha, as well as some pastries. As far as I remember, they use some authentic Middle Eastern coffee beans. I've always enjoyed all the different flavors that I have tasted. I recommend as a casual coffee shop drop in or quick catch up spot with friends.

Haute coffee is my familys go to when we are in the area and in need of a coffee boost. Their dalgona coffee is soo good. They are open almost all the time and best part is that they are open till 10 pm which makes it an ideal spot for meeting us afternoons. The staff is always so sweet. I always suggest to look at their seasonal menus. The seasonal drinks are always really good.

Stopped by on a Friday morning. Ordered a croissant sandwich, it wasn't all that. Didn't see fresh and the size of the cheese/ham didn't match the bread. Service was ok, they weren't overly friendly. Plenty of seating early in the morning but filled up after an hour or so.

Haute Coffee was founded in March 2023 as a mobile luxury coffee truck in South Florida, focusing on Yemeni and Ethiopian coffee roasts. This Southwest Ranches location is their first brick-and-mortar café, though they've now expanded to Northern California. I first tried them at a Yelp event at their truck next to the Southwest Ranches Farmers Market, and I was immediately impressed. Haute Coffee specializes in unique artisan espresso drinks, specialty lattes, matcha, chai, and other elevated coffee creations. They offer organic roasted coffee, sun-roasted for optimal flavor and free from pesticides. Their syrups are kosher and halal certified, and their menu is complemented by house-made artisan pastries. There's plenty of indoor seating for enjoying your drinks, working, or relaxing, plus a few tables out front. The coffee menu is extensive, with hot and cold options prepared multiple ways and a variety of milk choices, including non-dairy. I stopped by for a seasonal hot peppermint mocha. When my drink was ready, they called my name--but before I could grab it, a gentleman accidentally took it and took a sip! The look on his face was priceless. The staff quickly remedied the situation by making both of us new drinks, which was handled perfectly. If you're in the area and looking for a sweet treat and a high-quality caffeinated pick-me-up, I highly recommend Haute Coffee--a charming café with inventive drinks, great pastries, and a fun, friendly vibe.

Stopped by this cute coffee shop for a quick bite and some matcha. The food and matcha were both delicious and the service was so great! The ambience was really nice and inviting. It's definitely a great spot to catch up with a friend or get some work done.

This may have become a new favorite coffee shop in south Florida! So worth driving up from Miami for this goodness. Syrups are 1883 Maison Routin organic flavors, and this makes a huge difference in flavor, as compared to other venues' Monin syrups. The beans are Yemini/Ethipian which are also not commonly found in south Florida. They have only two sugar free options : vanilla and hazelnut. With that you can either get an horchata latte, hazelnut latte, hazelnut hojicha. I got the hazelnut hojicha with oat milk and it was interesting. Jury is still out on this one, and will need to try with a different milk option and possibly a vanilla instead. The tiramisu Dalgona was a dessert: a little too sweet and rich for my taste: it had a lot of chocolate syrup which overpowered the flavor of the cream and coffee. The winner was the strawberry dark chocolate mocha latte: it's like a chocolate covered strawberry in a cup. Delightful. And will come back for this one. Date snacks: tried the coconut and it was good and filling. Cute place, calm on a weekday, good service at the counter. Lots of pastries.

    Adeni chai, egg bites

Loved this cafe! Great late night spot for working or hanging out with friends, super friendly staff. I had the adeni chai and the goat cheese pepper egg bites. Egg bites were a little dry, but otherwise the flavor was decent, not necessarily a specialty item so my expectations weren't super high. Adeni chai was deliciousss, would absolutely get again. I got mine with light sugar and it was perfect. I would probably try out a pastry next time, but it was a good experience! Looks like they sell cool merch too. Totally would come back here.

Absolutely delicious coffee!!! They have a huge list of various flavors and unique options. Even the flavored items are not too sweet, which can be an issue at times. I really found these drinks to be perfect.

I had been wanting to check out this Yemeni coffee spot for years . When I was in the area I knew that I had to. The place has a very welcoming feel with a vast menu. I got the almond croissant and a latte . Everything tasted so yummy. The service was excellent . I even got a free flower as it was Valentine's Day. Very cozy vibes . I am definitely coming back here again !

First off, the service and vibe of the spot was very welcoming. Every drink came as ordered and delicious. We ordered 3 pastries, but only one stood out: the Dubai chocolate. The biscoff and red velvet we could've done without. I'll be back.

Black and white, mocha caramel, strawberry matcha

Pretty good! This was my first time coming here. I ordered the iced strawberry matcha, the black and white iced latte, and a caramel mocha iced latte. All three of the drinks were very good. The coffee drinks have a strong coffee flavor (which I like!) and tased smooth. The matcha was also good and not grainy. The inside is very small and the space around the register can get crowded quickly. Their service was very quick, though. Next time, I'd like to try some of their pastries because they looked good in the display. Overall, good coffee at a reasonable price

Pistachio latte & the most delicious quiche

My new addiction and I'm proud! They have so many options, between the coffee and pastries I'm never board. Pro tip: every Wednesday they have a local sourdough lady they partner with from sunrise drop off fresh sourdough loafs. I happily will go in on Wednesdays for the jalapeno cheddar loaf and an iced horchata with an extra shot. We most recently tried the Dubai chocolate bars they sell for $10 a pop, really good but on the smaller side. Regardless if in the area please drop by and support this local small business, they are doing it right and will have you excited to come back.

Unless I have been super hungry, it is one of the better empanadas I have tasted. Pan de bono was good too, it had a nice taste and texture. Before I ever tasted a single bean, the name stopped me cold. Calusa. A roaster bearing the name of…read morean Indigenous people -- the Calusa, the ancient shell-mound builders, the unconquered lords of South Florida's mangroves and waterways. People who never surrendered. People whose bones are folded into this very soil. As someone who walks through this world carrying Taíno blood and the memory of peoples whose names colonizers tried to erase, that word hit different. It wasn't a gimmick. It wasn't a logo. It was a declaration -- that this land has a story older than any espresso machine, and somebody here understood that. That understanding alone earned my curiosity and my respect before I'd even stepped through the door. "The name carried the weight of a people who never bent. That's the kind of legacy worth building a roastery around." Then I learned the story behind the man behind the roaster -- and it only deepened my respect. Luis Arteaga came home from serving in the United States Marine Corps and did what so many veterans do: he looked for work. No fanfare. No red carpet. Just a man with discipline in his bones and calluses on his hands, trying to find his next mission in a civilian world that doesn't always know what to do with people like that. He found his way to the original owners of Calusa Coffee Roasters. They saw in him what the Corps had always seen -- dependability, grit, and a willingness to learn. They gave him a job. A floor to stand on. And Luis did what Marines do -- he didn't just fill a position, he grew into something greater. Over time, through sweat and dedication and an unmistakable passion for the craft, he rose to become the owner of the very roastery that once took a chance on him. That's not a business story. That's an American story. A veteran's story. And it's exactly the kind of origin that makes a cup of coffee taste like something more than coffee. CALUSA COFFEE ROASTERS IS A SOUTH FLORIDA INSTITUTION Fast forward to today, and Calusa Coffee Roasters isn't just surviving -- it is a staple. Walk into the right cigar bar on a Friday evening and someone at the table will mention the name. Sit down at the right diner counter on a Tuesday morning and a regular will nod toward that familiar bag. In South Florida's rich, layered, cafecito-and-culture coffee landscape, that kind of word-of-mouth is earned over years of consistency, of showing up, of never letting the cup get small. Luis continues to build something that belongs to this community -- rooted in the terroir of a region as complex and layered as its people. The coffee is exceptional. Bold where it should be bold, nuanced where it earns it. The kind of roast that makes you sit down instead of rushing out. That's no accident. That's someone who respects the craft because he was forged in institutions that demand nothing less than your best. "When a Marine finds his mission in a roastery, every bag he puts his name on carries the same standard -- do it right or don't do it at all." Meeting Luis was one of those moments I didn't expect to move me the way it did. We are both moving through the coffee world trying to build something that means something -- something rooted in identity, in service, in the belief that what's in the cup should tell a story worth hearing. And here was a fellow Marine who had walked a road I recognize: uncertain ground, earned footing, and a refusal to quit. And finally, if you are in South Florida and you have not made the pilgrimage to Calusa Coffee Roasters on Commercial Blvd, you are overdue. Go for the coffee -- stay for the story. And if you're lucky enough to meet the man himself, shake his hand. He earned it in more ways than one. To Luis Arteaga and everyone at Calusa: thank you for carrying a name that honors this land. Thank you for honoring the service that shaped you. And thank you for a cup of coffee that carries the weight of all of it without spilling a drop. Semper Fi, brother. Keep roasting.

They were so approachable, knowledgeable, and fun, that I wanted to support them, so I purchased some coffee. This was on a Thursday morning. The coffee was delivered across the country to my doorstep in Arizona on Saturday - I was super impressed! We made a pot of the Miami Restaurant Employee Relief Fund Blend this morning and it was fabulous. I typically put some steamed almond milk into my coffee but I drank it black (and several cups). It wasn't just me who enjoyed it either. It also passed the test of my judgemental, 43 year old Jewish husband's palate. He always takes his coffee black and this was no exception. I will definitely visit the Per'La coffee shop whenever I make my way back to Miami, but in the meantime, I'm sending love from Phoenix during these crazy times. Not only was the ordering process super easy via their website, they offer free shipping, and even included a super cute hand-written note showing appreciation too. Huge plus.
