Mostly rap music. The food was good. Fresh salad, fruit, meats etc. Unlimited mimosas was $25 per person. We could only order 1 flavor at a time, which there was about 8 flavors. They were good By 3pm, the place was more so filling up. What was crazy was at 4pm, the workers started breaking down the buffet-- quickly!! A group that had arrived @ 3 were caught off guard that brunch was ending. The workers did provide everyone with TAKE HOME Boxes, so we filled our boxes as fast as they were breaking it down lol Hookah guy arrived, think it was a total of $68. The hookah was good Gratuity is automatically included. Our waitress was GREAT! Only thing I didn't like, the place had her walking around in a tight leopard body suit, with her arms out, like this was the Playboy mansion. It was cold in there. So we were walking around and the crowd I'll just say wasn't the type I wanted to be around. Only one bar was open and the music was weird. So we decided to leave and when I asked the person who was taking the money what was going on tonight they said an event. Now, this event was not posted anywhere on their website or social media. So I would caution going at night or call beforehand because I don't think I would want to come back because it was nothing like it is portrayed online.

It's wild - because it's just off the National Mall, and I must have walked by dozens of times. I finally visited last weekend with a friend, and I had a pretty good time. It's free to visit, like a lot of the attractions on the Mall. We spent maybe a half hour to an hour exploring. This botanic garden is contained within two separate sections. The section that is north of Independence Avenue has some outdoor gardens and the conservatory. The section south of Independence Avenue has Bartholdi Fountain and another garden. They are connected, and you do have to cross Independence Avenue to visit both sections. It's not a large botanic garden; I've definitely visited larger. But as it's free, it's a great place to wander if you're in the area. The highlight for was actually the Bartholdi Fountain section. The fountain is beautiful and peaceful, and the Capitol building peaks through in the prettiest way in photos. If you visit lots of botanic gardens, this one might not wow as much as others. But it's yet another place that's worth a visit on the National Mall.

The museum has three floors, and I found it easiest to start at the top and work your way down. *Laurie Anderson Four Talks: one of my favorite exhibits. The installation was fully immersive, covering the entire room. The writing and drawings across all four walls really brought the concept together. *Adam Pendleton Love Queen: a visually striking exhibit that transitions into a black and white video. While the artwork itself did not resonate with me as much, the video left both me and other visitors in a quiet, reflective state. *Revolutions Art from the Hirshhorn Collection: more traditional in style and subject matter. I did wish there was more context provided for some of the pieces, especially the sculptures, as a few lacked historical explanation. *Basquiat x Banksy: a more modern collection that reflects themes of racial and class divide. The bold colors and strong perspectives made this one of the more engaging sections. *Big Things For Big Rooms: a bit too literal for my taste, as it largely consisted of oversized objects without much added depth. *Mark Bradford Pickett's Charge: an older but well maintained exhibit. The circular layout of the museum complemented the work nicely. The textures and use of color were particularly compelling. The gift shop offered a wide range of items, including pieces inspired by past exhibitions and collaborations. I especially liked the Basquiat and Banksy merchandise, though it was nice to see representation from other collections as well. Overall, this is an easy museum to explore in one visit. I wish I could have seen the updated sculpture garden, but the rotating exhibits alone make it worth coming back.

Instead, they spent nearly two and a half hours exploring and going back to their favorite exhibits over and over again. They loved the exhibit where it looks like your head is being served on a platter and kept taking turns with it because they thought it was hilarious. They also enjoyed the rooms that make people appear different sizes and the mirror exhibits. Their absolute favorite was the spinning tunnel. It makes me dizzy every time, but they thought it was the funniest thing ever and must have gone through it dozens of times. The only reason we left was because it was a school night. If you're looking for a fun indoor activity for kids, especially on a hot day, I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Reservations are available online, so I was able to book reservations for our party the day prior to visiting. It's located a block from the actual the White House, so I was able to walk just a few blocks from my hotel to arrive for my 11:30 am reservation. I loved the actual replica of the oval room where we took pics behind the oval office desk and the immersive tour through the situation room, press briefing room, and the history and artifacts of the white house. In addition, there's displays for the kids where they can interact and design a state dinner or build a mini-White House. Overall, good exhibits, and history of the White House. Our entire group enjoyed this museum and I would recommend it to everyone.
