I'm surprised the reviews are so bad here the staff is super friendly. I came in. The doors were locked at 10, but Matthew heard me and came and unlocked the doors as I was trying to get food before I picked up my kids from church and my husband. The manager he was not wearing a name tag so I wish I could give him credit. He was a male with dark brown hair speaking a bit of Spanish and English was super friendly. The place was very clean. I love that they have frozen custard you can grab out of the freezer. The drink station was very clean. The staff was filling the frozen custard and checking productivity. Ordered two burgers and they were both completely incorrect. I ordered a butterburger with cheese and lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, and mustard (no pickles). It came with pickles, no ketchup or mustard, had mayo on it, and didn't taste like a butterburger. It was also barely even warm, like bordering on cold. Seriously bad lunch. I was in the mood for a cold drink and decided on a strawberry/banana shake. It definitely tasted fruity and I could definitely eat the bits of both fruits but something was off. Considering I'm big on thickness I'm gonna say maybe I should have got a malt instead. This is why I rated this mid, to give me room to rate up if need be. My next visit will be a malt/concrete. I'm tired. I don't eat out often but when I do I order what I like. I get the fish sandwich dinner here and always ask for extra tartar sauce as I like it for my fries. Almost every time they FAIL to give me the prepackaged container of tartar sauce. How hard is it? Don't add extra to the sandwich, throw in the container. It's frustrating because I get home and nothing. Sometimes I remember to check but let's be honest. I shouldn't have to. It's so easy. Please get this right. I pay too much money and wait too long in line to consistently be disappointed and can't consume my meal as I ordered. If I want extra ketchup I want you to add packets. Extra any condiment should always default to the packet. I'm pretty sure it's why you all have them. I'll even pay for it, hence why I ask while ordering. read more

Ok here's the deal. You know that whole In n Out vs Shake Shack debacle? Throw it away. Midwesterners know how to make the best burger, period. When I have to go back to school in Virginia I feel like I've left behind a piece of my heart. Unlike a lot of chain/fast food restaurants, the food I'm eating feels fresh and healthy, and the atmosphere just feels like I'm sitting down to a family dinner. My parents and I will bring crosswords to play while we eat and for whatever reason, Culver's seems to be the best place to talk about our days. I've never *once* had poor service, every employee is so kind and thoughtful - a genuine microcosm of the Midwest. The burgers are unmatched, the chili is fabulous, the fries are always hot, if you've never had the cheese curds - WHY? During Lent I highly recommend the Walleye which is hard to track down outside of the northern Midwest and is always cooked to perfection. I would be remiss not to mention their custard (NOT ice cream) which I somehow always find room for. And did I mention how reasonable their prices are? I wish Culver's came to the West coast. The food is usually great but it really depends on the location and competency of the staff. This location in Chesterfield, MO conveniently close to I-64 did not disappoint. However, the frozen custard quality isn't the same as it was pre-Covid (any location in general). Fresh fruit would've been nice instead of shriveled up frozen blueberries & strawberry syrup. Good service; clean dining room; relatively clean but small restrooms; free parking; NO signage from I-64 and off ramps! Found it on Google maps. One of my favorite chain burger joints. I consider Culver's top notch for fast food. Everytime I go to this location the food is constantly delicious and have always received great service. The butter burger style is like no other burger. I recently started ordering boom boom sauce with my onion rings and I highly recommend. Employees are very friendly and bring the food right to your table. Food and service were great. Floors and tables were clean. Customers were all nice too which is just a bonus.

First, they got the order wrong. Left out an order of fries and made the wrong malt, (note: It was written correctly on our receipt.) Tried to call the store to get a refund. Phone stated they are not set up for message. Tried several times. No one ever picked up, called corporate and they said they would call the Chesterfield store and have the manager called me. Never got a call. Called corporate again and was never able to speak with customer service. Had to listen to an annoying whistling song, and they never picked up! We waited over 25 minutes for our food. Unacceptable and there was no quickness to work. They were very unfriendly too.

We came to this location for lunch today. They have lovely outside area. We ordered at a drive through and food was brought to us outside. My husband got chicken sandwich and he liked it, he said there was nothing exceptional but a solid sandwich. I got patty melt and those grilled onions were delicious. For us to share and our kids we got chicken strips- very juicy and flavorful, onion rings- sooo good, fries- best crinkled fries, cheese curds- very blah and a grilled cheese sandwich-kids liked it. Very disappointed today. Walked in and the floors were filthy and counter by the soda machine was so sticky and dirty I was afraid to pull any napkins from the dispenser or take any ketchup. The burger patty was overcooked with burnt crispy edges and was so thin it was nonexistent. We won't be back to this location. read more

When to the restaurant on Friday evening 6ish Service was prompt, polite and pretty helpful with the in and out of ordering my daughter usually orders food for us from here but she away for business. So told the person what I usually get and he placed the order I was feeling proud of myself. Paid and went to get my drink while waiting for food to be prepared. There was the problem condiments and drink stations need attention. Sticky + messy and a few of the soda were almost out it was very soda seltzer water. And server gave and charged me for large combo with a double. I wanted a single and small. But the options were presented so I thought it was just basic for the price. Only to find out the differences when I got home. I did say what combo I want . Didn't realize I need to say single etc and server wasn't asked either. So Buyer beware. But the Fries were fresh and hot, the burger was fully load except for ketchup and mustard easy fix. Nice but a little salty for my taste. Culver's has a reputation that puts them above all of the other fast food burger joints and it is justly undeserved. It is really not any better. For this kind of burger, Smashburger is considerably better. Culver's is just unremarkable, it's another underseasoned burger. Just calling them butter burgers does not make them good. I have not been impressed with the over-breaded, tasteless fish sandwiches either. We still stop in for a "concrete". I recommend going inside in the summer, if you are ordering ice cream products. With the line for the drive-thru, whatever you order will be melted by the time you get to the window. I felt very uncomfortable during my visit a couple of weeks ago. There was a worker giving me odd constant staring and attention while I was eating, and I couldn't enjoy my meal. While I like culvers food, we were shocked to walk in to the restaurant tonight and see that nobody is wearing a mask in a county where there is a mask mandate. These people are handling food. Do yourselves a favor and don't go here until the mask mandate is over. In the search for the thin diner style burgers with crispy edges it is difficult to leave out Culver's. It has become better than Steak N Shake but it's not as good as Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. It's still a treat and I indulged on Tuesday night. I got a double cheeseburger (pickle, onion, and ketchup) with fries. Their fries aren't the best. Your basic frozen crinkle cut and not cooked as long as I would like. Arrived at store to place a drive up order at (according to my receipt) 11:33 am. As you can see by my ticket, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, a side salad, a coke and a pork loin sandwich. I also ordered 2 dishes both vanilla. When I arrived at the drive up window, I paid for my meal and was given #63. I was told to pull up and wait for my meal. Not only was I given #63 at that time, I was also given the two dishes of frozen custard that I had ordered!! If you remember this day, it was nearly 100 degrees outside. Why would you give someone in the drive thru window frozen custard knowing it would be at least 10 minutes wait time for my food! Even with my air conditioner on high, both of my frozen custards had melted into liquid by the time I got to my house less than a mile away! I really don't have high expectations for the person taking my order at a fast food chain. I'm usually very patient, and when I'm placing an order in the drive thru, I'm the first to be apologetic. However! I was ordering two shakes for my wife and me and this guy had the patience of a one year old. Punk teenager about 17/18 years old asked me literally five times "is that all" after I repeatedly told him that my wife was still deciding on a flavor (they don't even have most of their flavors listed!) and I couldn't believe it. Very poor service. They over charge for a combo meal when it is clearly listed on the board. They don't ever get the order correct. Great, greasy burgers. What more can I say? 100% USDA ground beef patties made from cuts of sirloin, chuck and hanger seared on a firery grill. (think Steak N' Snake). Did I mention the crinkle fries. They're greasy too. But they're great! Ask for them with no salt. They'll bring them to your table. Hot and delicious. They also have great homemade shakes and a signature fountain root beer. Who needs Shake Shack. (maybe when I save up enough money I'll try the overpriced burger joint). Waited in drive thru over 15 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me for a chicken sandwich as hard as a hockey puck and over fried.

For the third time, I took my students there on a field trip to work on skills in the community. Just like the previous times, the staff was amazing, helpful and patient with my students. There was another large group and the dining room was crowded, and the staff worked so hard to maintain great service. Thank you-we will be back! read more
