I informed the crew when I ordered that I had an allergy. At every other location we've been to they change their gloves and take care to accommodate that without any hesitation so I feel comfortable eating there. However the location in Florence acted like it was a chore. When I tried to explain it to the girl giving us our food, she shrugged her shoulders and attempted to argue that it would fine. No gloves were changed, and everything was packed together so it wasn't safe for me to eat. The manager told them the correct way to handle everything and bagged it herself so it was safe. I have placed to-go orders twice from Culver's in Florence, KY. BOTH times they have screwed up the orders by leaving things out. Once they left off half of a two piece fish dinner and the other they completely left out a mushroom/swiss burger. The quality of the food and service has continued to drop over the years while the prices have gotten rather steep for fast food. Today's experience - almost 20 minutes to get my food after I paid at the window, I ordered and paid for a large fry and got a medium, and my Wisconsin Swiss melt burger was poorly prepared. The two patties were dried out like shoe leather, the sauteed onions consisted of more onion skin than actual onion, and the rye bread (top and bottom) was torn (yes, torn) into multiple pieces. Went there Monday at 5:00 pm. Got spoken to rudely for asking a question. The food wasn't even good. The onion rings were either over cooked or sat around for awhile. Ordered a fish sandwich plain, with a side of tartar sauce, came with it on the bun and cheese. Cheese curds were not crispy. It wasn't even hot when they brought out the bag, only warm. When I just ordered it 10 mins before. Not worth the hassle to spend that much money and have that kind of experience. Won't be back. Would give no stars if I could. The main reason I gave a 5 star is because the inside dining area was pristine. There was a teenage boy cleaning the table, sweeping and was super friendly. I can't stand it when you go inside a fast food place and the tables are dirty and the floors sticky so it was very refreshing to see the opposite. The ice cream was really good. If Yelp allowed me to give 0 stars I would. I have NEVER been to a Culver's as bad as this one. I came in at 8:05pm...ordered my food at 8:15pm...and got my food at 8:45pm. NO ONE in the kitchen had gloves on and was touching ready to eat food with their bare hands. I had to tell the entire kitchen staff and crew to put gloves on before they made people sick. They had more than enough crew to serve everyone but it seems as if no one that works there cares. Everyone in the restaurant was complaining tonight! It was the absolute worse!! I ordered a sourdough melt and the meal came to 9.32. When I asked why it was so much the cashier said whenever someone orders a sandwich it's automatically a double unless I mention a single. WTH is wrong here. I've never gotten a double cheese burger when I order a cheese burger or a double whopper when I order a whopper or a double quarter pounder when I order a quarter pounder. When we arrived today there was a sign on the drive thru that said they are short staffed. That was no worry. We would have been fine waiting whatever amount of time they needed. I get to the speaker to give my order and the girl that is taking it misses some of what we ordered but no big deal I just corrected it. The she didn't repeat it back. I get to the window and the order is all wrong. No big deal I tell the nice person in the window and he fixes it. Then he hands me my receipt. We have been charged for a meal we did not order. So I go in and the girl that I think was the same one who took my order tells me no they didn't charge me so I ask what the $11.19 is on my receipt. Then she storms away for several minutes. When she comes back she has a swipe card for the register and gives me the money back. She was extremely rude and unapologetic. Then I get back to my car where my family is waiting and we still don't have the food. So I pull to the front and as I park they come out with the food. The order was correct in the bag and the person who handed it to us was extremely nice. However, we will not return to Culver's. This was an extremely unpleasant experience. read more

Our family is Culvers loyal, with half of us originally from Wisconsin (home of the original Culvers)! There's only two locations in the greater Cincinnati area and this one is unfortunately 30mins from our home. Our first trip down to this location was great. Culvers is a step above other fast food joints. The Midwest meat is just better. I'm not a big fan of thicker fries but theirs are so good and crispy. It's not a trip to Culvers without cheese curds so that's a must when ordering. If you're not considering dessert, think again, the custard is so good! This location faired us well! Nice, affordable spot to grab a bite to eat! I ate here for the first time with my girlfriend (she had ate here previously and recommended it) and I loved it! We both got the double bacon burgers with fries and my girlfriend ordered a strawberry and whipped cream mixer. We ordered and took our seats. When they brought out our order the employee was a little awkward and they ended up messing up our order and gave us one bacon burger and a plain double burger. I didn't make a big deal about it and started eating because it didn't make a big difference to me. The burger was GREAT. So juicy and just really tasty. The fries were served hot and they were nicely salted. The mixer my girlfriend got was also really, really good. I recommend to everyone who likes a good burger and some ice cream. read more

Horrible! I honestly have not been to a place with so many lazy, incompetent people. Here's how it played out... My husband and I came here with our dog. I stayed outside in the patio area while my husband went into order his. After about 15 minutes I thought maybe he forgot that I was sitting outside however it turns out that a girl took his order and then dillydallied around for 10 minutes then made his order and let it sit on the counter for five minutes until it was halfway melted before she finally gave it to him and said sorry. So after that I decided to go inside to get a small vanilla cup of ice cream for my dog and a small custard for me. I ordered them both and then I saw the guy walking around not doing anything. Then I see him making an ice cream which I thought was mine, however it was his! He was going on break! I asked how long it was going to take because I was in a hurry they said there was something wrong with the custard machine so finally I just asked if I could have my money back. In the past I would have recommended this place....yesterday was perhaps the worst experience there. Just a whole bunch of teenagers working there that seemed overwhelmed and no strong leadership helping them out. My burger was overdone both times they brought it out and took a long time to get to me...both times. It's over priced for the quality I received. The floors were disgusting and the chair I sat in slid around with ease due to how slick the floors was. Love Culver's, just not this one. Empty restaurant, but always takes forever to get your food. Currently waiting 20 minutes on two sandwiches and a fry. I'd understand a bit more if it were busy, but it's empty. I had to go to the counter where the said they had a large Togo order and would be longer. It would have been nice to know that when I placed the order, or to prioritize the small orders, as I assume if you order a lot of food you may expect to wait longer. If they had let me know, I could have declined ordering and sitting there for over 20 minutes as I was on a schedule and ended up not even being able to eat any lunch at all. The worst part was, when I went up to cancel my order, they called back to the kitchen to cancel it, and they shouted back they don't even have my order on their screen (as in it wasn't ever going to get made)!!
