Otherwise you had the bar or a ledge along the wall with high stools. The burger I got was tasty. The cheese curds were a little on the greasy side for me. Bartender, was friendly. The place seemed clean. After I came in three more people came and sat near me at the bar. Then two of their friends came and sat beside me. Seemed to me like it's the place they go to unwind. What really tickled my fancy was that the lady sitting next to me asked me what I was eating. I told her cheese curds. All I could think is what Wisconsinite has never seen or heard of cheese curds? I'm still fascinated by that. I shared mine and she liked them. Who would not like cheese curds.

It was excellent. My order was for soup and the half sandwich special with a cheeseburger as my sandwich. This was a great option for me as the regular menu cheeseburgers is 1/2 lb which is way too big for me. One of my husband's favorite sandwiches is a Reuben. The caveat being it has to be on dark rye, not marble rye. Friar Tuck made his day serving up a meaty corned beef Rueben with Swiss cheese and sauerkraut on dark rye with a side of thousand island dressing. In addition to my disappointment with not getting the cheddar nuggets that I thought I ordered, both the Pepsi and Diet Pepsi in their soda fountain tasted bad. I dumped out the Diet Pepsi right away and only drank enough of the regular Pepsi to get through the meal.
