Recently I had my new favorite, the Maple Glazed Salmon... highly recommend! My wife's meal however was a little lacking, it was a special that day, some type of shrimp risotto that was lukewarm and a little mushy, the side salad was also a wilted, not fresh. This was a let down, because I usually enjoy my meals at the Pig.... Especially the desserts! I'm going to say this was a one off, and will be back for the Honey Glazed Salmon, and of course, the desserts!

Have extended their seating to include outdoor seating. I love eating outside, would love to see them create a divider between the outdoor seating and road, otherwise very nice. Had the Bloody Mary with chaser, slightly spicy, was very good. We started with the tempura brussel sprouts, absolutely delicious. We kept changing our minds on what to eat and we decided on the brisket grilled cheese and we were not disappointed. The Gouda cheese, brisket, and mushrooms were a great flavor. Server was amazing and very accommodating. All in all a fantastic lunch. Highly recommend.

We ordered two kids pizzas, grilled veggies panini and a personal pizza. All were delicious but the portions are on the smaller side as my 6 and 8 yr old gobbled up all the pizza and wanted more! Excitement filled me as i aloud said "yasss can chat you up! Hello my 381st brewery!" I was warmly welcomed by friendly & knowledgable beertender Mikey. Staff Stephanie was nearby too. Mikey built me a flight. After making my way partially through the flight & beery chat, Mikey poured me a sample of Charlotte's Revenge Scotch Ale. Mmmmm so good!!! Of my flight, none of the six would i not order again but the Maibock was my victor!! Watch out for My Sophia....she is sly @ an easy drinking 9%. Mikey poured me a blue eyed blonde while telling me it was named for the owners wife. Boom....a few minutes later Mikey "thats the blue eyed blonde behind you". They had a brick oven but we didn't even discuss food. Mikey said they just celebrated 10 years last week, March 4th. They were originally right across the street as Mikey rattled off the store names where they were. Time got away from me so i didnt look @ merch. Thats my second visits task. I really like the tap room!! Spacious, lots of natural light, the exposed brick wall, the kitchen right there and a really big bar. The brew house just outside the tap room. I like the Wisconsin shaped flight paddles. When looking @ my flight list i asked the order? Mikey pointed out there is a tiny "map" on the sheet! I appreciated that w all the rising prices Knuth still offers a reasonable flight of $2 pours! I asked Mikey how to pronounce Knuth? Then forgot to ask its definition or how the owner came up w the name? Knuth checks all the boxes! Delicious beer, fantastic staff, comfortable digs, easy parking & just an all around good vibe! Thanks Mikey & Knuth for providing such a delicious & great experience; looking forward to my next visit, cheers!

Horseradish was bustling at 12:30pm on a Saturday, but wasn't too overly packed when we came in. We were able to find a table for 4 and get our orders in quickly. That being said, it took over an hour of listening to terribly overstimulating music with bad vibes to actually get our food. Our kids were hangry, as were the children at a few other tables as well. I ordered the Vegan Witch (I LOVE kimchi) and my daughter ordered the Gus Special No. 1. We also all ordered various sodas/Olipops. The prices for the sodas were absurd, and the side salad that I ordered with my vegan witch was flavorless. I was kind of shocked at the kids' menu options and expected better ... my daughter of course ate it, as she's 4, and who doesn't love cheese on tortilla chips, but what an odd lunch option. I would have preferred more kid friendly veggie options for the side veggies, as radishes are a bit strange to plate for a child ... my sandwich was good, but just seemed to be lacking something. Staff were incredibly nice, but with how slow service was, I would not recommend going when you're actually hungry. I also don't recommend for kids. It was a fun experience and a nice find for in the middle of nowhere, but I guess I was just hoping for a bit more ... The bathrooms are nice, and my daughter and I loved the banana and lipstick lights on the bathroom walls that were also for sale. Cute place, slow service. I'll probably never be in Green Lake, Wisconsin again, so I can't say whether I'd return or not.

First let me say, I really love the food here and the establishment as a whole is very bright,…read morewelcoming, clean, and just has a good feel to it. The service is pretty good, they're all very kind. But not really as attentive and observant as they should be. We have come here a lot for takeout!! And that's good news because that means we really like the place and the food!! I hope people take this next part with a grain of salt, and I hope the owner maybe keeps this in mind. We went there again yesterday, but we decided to actually dine in. We stood at the bar area for 10 minutes super confused. Do they sit us, do we sit us? There's no sign saying what we should do... The bar countertop was so dirty from other peoples food scraps. It was gross. We kept looking at staff and no one said a dang thing to us..... ‍ what are we supposed to do here? We have never dined in here before. Do we seat ourselves? There's no sign or anything, and why is this counter so dirty? Eventually a table left so we stood by the table for 5 minutes and no one even acknowledged us. Even though we have been staring at employees the entire time. And the table was also dirty from the last people... Eventually we flagged down an employee and asked if she could clean the table for us. She gladly did. But why is this all taking so long? And the bar countertop is also still dirty, we have been there for 15 minutes so far. We sat and eventually realized we needed to order our food at the cash register and tell them what table we were sitting at. All the employees were lovely but not Observant at all. That we have been staring at them and standing around... When we ordered and eventually given our food, There were a couple mishaps with our food, but that's okay because mistakes happen and we're not the type of people who get upset over every little thing. The employees fixed everything. The reason for only 4 stars is because we were there for 1 hour from start to finish, and ONLY right before we left, did they start cleaning any of the tables or counter. They only cleaned our table because we asked. There was a massive pile of dirty dishes on the back counter, and only then did they start cleaning them up. I neglected to take pics of the pile of dirty dishes. To be fair, all the employees were busy the entire time, they weren't being lazy, they always had something to do. BUT cleaning tables and dishes need to be a priority especially during the busy hours. I urge and hope the owner please get a designated dishwasher and table cleaner especially during the busy hours. No one wants to sit at a dirty table with food scraps and sauce smears after someone has left. And also, please be more observant to confused customers who are standing around not sure what to do. A simple, "can I help you" would have really helped, and not made us feel ignored when we were confused. Also, a sign would help, like, "seat yourselves and order at the counter". Because the employees are also wait staff, and deliver food to the tables. It was just so confusing. Hope this helps. But otherwise, the employees were quite lovely when they did pay attention to you, and food is always good. Just be prepared to wait awhile for food.

At 7, we finally (had to ask) for a snack - and all she could offer was some dry rye bread. At 7:15 she (finally, did offer another round of drinks. Which, the sodas already came with free refills). Just what our pregnant guest needed. We finally got our food at 7:20. We won't go back. (Oh, in addition to the unacceptable service) - those who ordered potato salad were disappointed - while the quality was good, the portion was so tiny, we remarked, oh, this must be a sample of what their potato salad would be if they gave you a regular portion.

As I continue to learn more about butchery and cooking, I more often than not find myself disappointed with restaurant fare - especially at a value price point. Prime rib starts with an excellent rib roast. That rib roast should have four distinct muscles. In inferior cuts of meat, these muscles get separated by sinewy, hard fat rather than thin fat that renders during the cooking process. This is super-important in prime rib because each of those muscles can sit at a different angle, changing the chew mid-steak. Also in inferior cuts, the ribeye cap - or spinalis dorsi - consists mostly of fat. In good cuts that cap if the best part of the prime rib. That did not happen here. The steak was OK as far as tenderness, but not great. It's actually such a small piece of meat that it really needs the bread and salad they do not serve just in order to leave feeling full. The fat and sinew between the individual muscles did not render well, and even the soft fat was inedible. I have eaten prime rib where I ate every single piece of that steak put on my plate. Here, I had to essentially cut out the heart of the ribeye (longissimus dorsi) and eat that alone. My wife reminded me that it was affordable. In the future, if the goal is affordable I'll just have drinks.
