I usually do not eat anything I can get back home whenever I travel or go to new places because there's simply no point. You have to try new things when you're traveling. That's why in Havasu I avoided McDonald's, In-N-Out, Jack... you get the idea. Thankfully a Culver's does not exist anywhere close to where I reside, so while in Havasu, I knew I had to give this place a try. Glad I did because the burgers were superb, nothing like the fast food garbage I eat back home in Los Angeles. This tasted authentic and good. My son ordered himself the tenders, and they were good, decent-sized; he could only finish one. I had to eat the other tender with some of their many sauce choices that they have, and they have plenty. I ordered a chicken sandwich, and it was good and flavorful. Adding some Boom Boom sauce made it even better. Loved that their kids' meal came with a coupon for free kids' ice cream; both my kids got a vanilla-flavored ice cream cone for the road back home. The service here was great; staff bring the food right to you and bring you any sauces you would like. The only downside was the wait was pretty crazy; it took maybe 20 minutes to get the food, which is a bit too much, but the food itself was very good. On my next visit to Havasu, I'd be sure to drop by Culver's for a delicious burger before I leave back home. read more

Boyfie wanted to try out Culver's since he saw many videos pop up about this fast food place in AZ and ... we were quite disappointed. We ordered the butter burger, Wisconsin cheese curd, fried, and the North Atlantic cod sandwich. The butter burger was honestly okay, very underwhelming. If I were to come back and order from here again, I would probably only order the North Atlantic cod sandwich. That was the least boring thing on their menu and it tasted pretty decent. Great service, clean seating space, and a good fast meal! Super easy to order something for everyone as they have an extensive menu. I love that they have sandwiches and burgers and chicken options along with red meat options. Really easy to place your order and either wait for your food to-go or eat in their seated area. Almost feels like a restaurant in their seated area. Again, everything was well maintained and clean. Definitely a huge shout out to the staff for keeping up with the flow of the day. I had a chicken burger and loved that it came with pickles along with the usual mayo, tomato, and lettuce. Was pretty good, no complaints. I really enjoyed their fried and honey mustard sauce, along with ketchup too. My husband had a Reuben melt sandwich and fries as well. He loved his sandwich so much that he almost ordered another one after finishing it. He really enjoyed their ranch and fries together. I enjoyed all of the above really. Culver's has one of the best chilis that I've had in a long time! Normally you to go Culver's thinking hot sandwich and fries combos and with attention to the awesome sweets that they have, but don't overlook the chili! While visiting Lake Havasu, I went to Culver's twice and each time the experience was consistently great. The cashier/order person was very nice and efficient. We order and take our number to our table, both times the chili was scorching temperature hot which I LOVE! My second visit I ordered a side of french fries to dip into the chili - yum! The Pot Roast Sandwich includes very tender meat and it was nice complemented with the BBQ sauce. They load up the sandwich so it's definitely shareable with other sides. Their side salad is a nice portion - fresh greens and your standard house salad ingredients. Their spicy chicken sandwich is also very tasty! The breading is what gives it the kick and it was a good portion! Culver's makes their food fresh so if you do have a larger party order, the wait is worth it! read more

Never eaten here but pick up food for my grandson on occasion, I decided to order for myself, got his double cheeseburger meal and ordered a double mushroom Swiss burger, and onion rings, this might be close to the worst burger I ever had, 2 completely burned burger patties, 4 total mushrooms and could not find the cheese, so that got thrown away, onion rings pretty well done ate a few and they joined the burger (burned to a crisp)in the garbage, Wow I guess from all the hype I expected better, best part of this meal was the root beer, tried to enjoy but may say never again, thanks read more

One of the best fast food restaurants and a must try especially in Lake Havasu since there are very few locations outside of the Midwest and this is one of the farthest west location they have. Service is always consistently friendly and fast. We've tried everything on the menu and of course their Butter Burgers are one of my favorite fast food burgers of all time. We stopped here for Malts about 2 months ago. If you've never been; the drive thru here has 2 lines. We were in the right land and we waited patiently as the left lane moved about 3 cars while we waited shouting at the speaker, "hey, what about us?" No answer and no change, we waited some more. We finally had no choice but to have all the cars behind us back out so we could leave. My wife walked in and yelled at the person taking orders, she said, sorry she was doing the best she could... FFWD, 2 months and again we decided to go there and order at the drive thru. This time we were actually able to place an order. Well alright, we smiled happily as we were asked to pull forward and wait. Which we dutifully did. We waited and waited and we waited some more. We were not really dressed to go inside so we decided to call them and see what the hold up was. The guy that answered the call seemed in a hurry to get us off the phone and assured us our order would be out any minute now. After another 15 minutes baby screaming wife angry at me; I went in, in my pajamas and not too happy to see what I could do. The person at the counter got the manager who had a litany of excuses as to why they couldn't get our order done. It was just 5 items but there was some kind of mass confusion, by the time he got halfway thru his long litany of excuses I waved him off, I had had enough and demanded a refund so we could go somewhere where they know how to work a drive thru lane like Jack-in-Box or In-N-Out.... Bottom line; after 45 minutes we got nothing, the baby was screaming and my wife was totally pissed off at me. The food here is not too bad but that drive thru is an unmitigated disaster... Stay out of that cluster ..! Culver close that drive thru, you know what I am talking about, your people are too slow and inept to figger it out and your customers deserve better...! read more

Wisconsin cheese is truly delicious. Their fries are the crispy fries - order them with a side of cheese sauce - SOOOO GOOD!!!! They make their own shakes/malts in house (none of that premise crap at other fast food places). I've tried various flavors including: strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. You can add extra toppings/fixings like Oreos, cookie dough, strawberries, chocolate/mint syrup, peanut butter chips, etc. very tasty on a warm day! If you have not tried Culver's, give it a shot! Our first time in Lake Havasu. I've heard about Culver's and never tried it. First night, we only got dessert. I got a small concrete mixer with butterfinger and extra butterfinger! It was amazing! My wife got a small concrete mixer with peach and buttercake. Her's was also amazing! The next day we wanted Culver's again. I got the sourdough melt and my wife got the North Atlantic cod sandwich. Food is very good for fast food. I love the fish sandwiches the best. I ordered food for curb side pickup. Paid in advance. Food was ready on time. They brought it to my car in a large bag that was stapled shut. When I got home, the specialty salad was missing. I called them and was told I could either make a second trip there or they would mail me a coupon that I would get in "2 to 3 days". After 10 days, I was back at Culver's and spoke to the manager. The coupon had even been mailed out yet. They already had my money, I didn't get the food and they didn't seem to be in any hurry to fix it. So check your orders before leaving! read more

It's been a few years since I had Culver's in Missoula, MT so I suggested to my boyfriend that we stop while in Lake Havasu for a quick trip. This was his first time trying Culver's and he was definitely a fan. We both opted for concretes, he had a medium vanilla ice cream with Oreos, cookie dough and fudge. I had the mini vanilla with cookie dough and cheesecake bites- yum!! The mini was the perfect size for me as custard is very filling! I have yet to try the food, however it all looks (and smells) delicious, so definitely will give it a try next time. The server that took our order was very friendly, we received our order in a matter of minutes and the restaurant was clean. Would definitely recommend! read more

I've always gone out of our way to go to Culver's, possibly not anymore. Went to the drive up window, ordered two concrete mixers, then waited and waited, saw two other people come and go with more complicated orders, finally went inside, our ice cream was sitting on the counter... when I asked them which one was which they said they didn't know, it turned out that they did not differentiate the two different flavors we wanted. Pretty pathetic when there were several employees just walking around inside nor occupied at all. May give it one more shot before we leave Havasu, but not sure about that... I hate to admit it but Culver's is my favorite fast food place. Mainly because of the frozen custard. Chocolate malts are my favorite but their flavors of the day sometimes suck me in. I don't love their crinkle fries but order them extra crispy and they aren't bad. The onion rings hit the spot when that craving hits. The burgers are decent, as far as fast food burgers go. Last few times, sauces have been missed, orders have been messed up and food has been under cooked. This last time in specific, every single one of my sauces that comes with the meals was forgotten. Also, not sure why you guys decide to put the fries in almost completely upside down every time, but it's extremely frustrating to open a bag of food with fries everywhere. Umm completely unexpected but WOW!!! Took a weekend trip to Havasu with some friends and saw this off the side of the road. Someone in our group described it as "the McDonald's of Wisconsin," since some of us have never heard of it. After a day at the lake, this was the move! I ordered the Wisconsin big cheese pub burger, a side of crinkle cut fries, and a mango smoothie. I was shocked at the quality of the burger! All the cheeses: havarti, cheddar, and American, went so well with the garlic aioli. I also loved the cheddar bun! Also the crinkle cut fries were the BEST crinkle cut fries I've ever tasted! Crispy and tasty! Culver's knows how to season their stuff for sure! Lastly, the mango smoothie was good, but that's it. I wouldn't order it again and it was a little too thick for my liking, but it was good. Just reminded me more of mango ice cream rather than a smoothie. read more

When we got our food, the burger patties were cold and the chicken tenders smelled like fish and had a slight fish taste to them. They need to stop frying the chicken and fish in the same vat. Their service is not that good they have to many young kids working here. The place is not even clean I had to ask for them to clean a table. Their floors are all sticky and gross with junk all over the floor. And their food isn't even that good this was our second time here this week so the first time we came this week we got the fish. But the fish had bread on it and the bread just fell off. The second time we came to this place we got the onion rings and they were cold. So we asked for a new batch and we got them but they were burnt and had one French fry in it. But they do have amazing custard. If I came back here I would just get custard and no food. I mean why get food when it's: brunt, cold, breading falling off, or just disgusting in general. I would give one star but I have to appreciate them for their wonderful custard. read more

I'm from California so it's hard to deviate from In-n-Out. We were visiting Lake Havasu and apparently Culver's is all the rage in the Midwest (originating in Wisconsin) so we had to stop and give it a whirl. I was excited to try this place - mostly for the cheese curds and the frozen custard. I ordered the deluxe butter burger (their bestseller), a butterscotch shake and the cheese curds. Once the food arrived, the burger immediately reminded me of Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. Their patties are identical and flavor is very similar. I really enjoyed my meal here and prices are cheap so that's always a plus. My perfect meal would be a combination of In-n-Out and Culver's: an In-n-Out cheeseburger with Culver's frozen custard shake, crinkle cut fries and cheese curds.... Anyway, I give this place 4 stars. Customer service was great, the restaurant was clean and decorated for Christmas, and the food was delish! I'll certainly be back if I'm ever in the neighborhood again. read more
