But I was surprised to find a welcoming environment, good food, and cheap beer. The food comes from the Airstream Trailer downstairs and food is sent up on a zip-line which is kinda cool. They had a number of options including Krispy Crunchy Chicken (a chain typically found in gas stations). I ordered the Wisconsin Sampler which was an assortment of goodies including a sliced up bratwurst, waffle fries, jalapeño poppers and cheese curds. It was a greasy box of food for sure, but all was good. Service was good as I sat at the bar and it wasn't too busy on a rainy Monday night. I had a few beers that helped cut the grease a little and was in and out fairly quickly. I'd go back again if I wanted bar bites and beer! But I'd be mindful and make sure I got something less greasy!

This location, despite having nice staff and great hours, is very fussy about accepting coupons from the DQ app (and probably any other coupons if they exist) so, don't drive out of your way to use a coupon here, you will probably leave disappointed, as we did tonight. For many times I came to this DQ, they had a sign on their drive thru saying they didn't accept coupons in the drive thru. OK- no problem, I can park and come in. Now they have had problems accepting them inside as well. At first it was "oh our scanner isn't working today" and now it is "it stopped working so we just won't honor it". Hmmmm.... OK. No problem. There is a Culver's across the street that mails me coupons on physical paper and they don't seem to have a problem accepting them. So, if you're hoping to use your DQ app to score a deal, I would maybe try the other DQ's in the area. Or sign up for the Culver's Club emails.
