When someone recommended this restaurant on the 2nd floor of a gas station, I had to question their status in this world... But I was surprised to find a welcoming environment, good food, and cheap beer. The food comes from the Airstream Trailer downstairs and food is sent up on a zip-line which is kinda cool. They had a number of options including Krispy Crunchy Chicken (a chain typically found in gas stations). I ordered the Wisconsin Sampler which was an assortment of goodies including a sliced up bratwurst, waffle fries, jalapeño poppers and cheese curds. It was a greasy box of food for sure, but all was good. Service was good as I sat at the bar and it wasn't too busy on a rainy Monday night. I had a few beers that helped cut the grease a little and was in and out fairly quickly. I'd go back again if I wanted bar bites and beer! Being my first visit here I had high hopes. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. My Cajun Chicken Sandwich was cold and undercooked. The textire was tough, possibly die to it being undercooked. The dining area upstars was not, but the food left a lot to be desired. I will not be back. read more

Blue Badger is part of the Racine Petrol stop off Exit 333. It occupies the entire second floor, and is a great space with high tops, low tables and a long bar. They also offer live music and several video gambling machines. Food is made in the Airstream downstairs and delivered via trolley. My husband had the cod fish sandwich with coleslaw side, and I ordered the Wisconsin Cranberry Chicken wrap with garlic parmesan fries. The cod was extremely flaky and tender, and the brioche bun very buttery. The wrap had a great balance of flavors and textures, with the craisins and bleu cheese being an exceptional combination. The fries came hot and crispy, and while the garlic parmesan flavor was tasty, I felt they could have used a little more. Blue Badger is a great place to stop on your travels. Good food, great service and a casual atmosphere. A nice alternative to the usual fast food options seen passing through. read more

Stopped here by chance after making a pit stop to purchase O&H Kringles. The food was ready and sitting, but I still took a chance with the chicken sandwich and mashed potatoes. Both were pretty good. I just wish the sandwich was crispy. It was sitting there for awhile and it wasn't crispy at all. The taste was good though. If just ask for a fresh sandwich next time. I'll be here for future trips, but may try something else on the menu. read more

Good stopping point for a road trip. I enjoyed my meal here and thought that it offered decent value for the money. The salad I ordered had a decent amount of chicken and toppings. I also really enjoyed the warm potato salad and beans/rice. Is it super unique food? No. But it was fairly good overall. As far as atmosphere: The rooftop deck was very nice. You'd think, a bar at the top of a gas station? There's no way this could be good, but let me tell you it's excellent. The bar tenders are super friendly, it's always very clean, a great view of the highway to watch the cars go by, and a wonderful patio. There's plenty of TVs to watch any game, a huge beer selection, and some fresh fried chicken. This place is great for post-work drinks and as a great pit stop! read more

Lots to see, great place to stretch, gasoline, O&H's incomparable baked goods, and a darling bar and grill where your food literally rides a zip line to the mezzanine level dining area. One of the most unique bars I have been to when it comes to "truck stop" restaurants. While the method of food delivery to your table may be unconventional, it is certainly fun. You can sit in the spacious bar and lounge area or the outdoor patio and order from diner style food from the kitchen downstairs after which it will be delivered to your server/bartender via a zip line-gondola basket thing. Website is not up-to-date. There's no jukebox there's no slot machines. Apparently, a corporation took it over and they shut the place down altogether . I feel bad for the bartenders that were working there. The whole entire quick stop should update their hours on everything so people don't drive especially truckers to a place that's not even open. read more

I probably wouldn't go back. The ambiance is probably cool in good weather - there's a nice looking patio. The service upstairs was good, but the gentleman downstairs who took our order was not even remotely friendly. The food left a lot to be desired. I'd rather go to Culver's or that Rte 20 (apparently they took "outhouse" out of their name - wisely). My sister's already decided to go here for my birthday because it looks really interesting with the swing set and the fire pit. Although my drinks were amazing and my food was good the fact that it came out in to go boxes and I had to order it myself off of the app did not make me feel like I was eating at a restaurant at all. This place BRATS! If you asked what Wisconsin tastes like on a plate, this place embodies it. We had the sampler and the burger and both were absolutely delicious. Burger was cooked to order with little pink. Just absolutely tasty. All the sauces were complimentary to each app in the sampler. All the flavors just work. Also, first time having bacon jam. They were nice enough to offer it on the side for the burger. Now that I know what it is; just trust me and leave it on the burger. You won't regret it. I can't wait to try the other menu items. The staff were very quick and the friendliest people ever. The place itself was very clean. Like, you would be surprised because it's built into a truck stop.
