First time here, small seating area, lots of bar space. We had the grilled cheese with fries and a cheese burger with fries. The grilled cheese was ok, don't like those coated fries at all. The burger just tasted very basic, not much flavor to the meat etc. Only reason we can't recommend is no flavor basic taste. Prefer Culver's burgers and grilled cheese, Mazos Burgers in Milwaukee is way better or Five Guys in Oak Creek is better but way overpriced. read more

Where to start?! The food is always amazing, drinks are wonderful and the staff are kind and courteous. Buca's has a very welcoming atmosphere where some other places I have gone, do not seem to be so much. With pool, darts, bowling and machines to play, you'll never be bored! Visiting from California to spend time with family, they have been taking me to a bunch of Friday fish fry places... this place is by far THE BEST! My mother and I both had a Friday fish fry and her boyfriend had the mushroom Swiss burger I think it was, all of our meals were amazing! I am a huge Tater tot fan so I've been getting that on the side a lot during my visit... these tater tots are flavored!! I can totally tell they are home made, maybe with chives, some sort of cheese, and light seasoning? I am not so sure on the ingredients, but they were such a delicacy! Service was absolutely amazing too! You can tell they care and like we are part of the family. The inside completely amazed me, it didn't look the same on the outside. So don't judge a book by its cover. Stop by this place, I wish I took photos of my food, but it was so delicious! read more

I've heard the owners are full of themselves....and they close the bar off for private functions occasionally...only went there a couple times during normal hours and they were closed once or twice. Heard this from a friend as well. Seems they like to party, and they close the bar off when customers get in the way of that. read more

This was our first time here. We ordered onion strings, pickle sticks and Mac n cheese balls as our appetizers. The onion strings were thin and perfect. The pickle sticks were unique and delicious. I haven't had any like them before. I loved that our waiter asked me what types of sauces we wanted with our appetizers instead of just bringing out whatever came with it. For dinner I had the chicken wrap and fries. The fries were season and crispy, just how I love them. The bacon chicken wrap was phenomenal. It was thick and cooked perfectly. The bacon was really good - not too thin and cooked perfectly. My favorite part was the sweet chili sauce that was on the wrap. It was the perfect amount of sweet and just a tad spicy. The service was excellent. Our waiter was smiley, kind, and definitely attentive. The cook even stopped by our table to say hello and ask how we enjoyed our meal. Great job, guys. The food is delicious! Come hungry because there are many good options to choose from. The Friday Fish Fry is very good, the buffalo chicken sandwich is perfect. Many times I get buffalo chicken sandwiches and there is more breading than chicken, but not at Buca's, perfect combination of breading. The cheese curds are also the perfect appetizer! It was busy, but Wendy was on top of it and there wasn't an available seat in dining area. It was busy, but the food came fast and hot! The most difficult thing about coming here will be deciding what to eat! Many great options! It's also very clean and just smells fresh. We went for the fish fry and we both had the combo cod and shrimp with their homemade tater tots. It was fantastic. The cod was firm and flavorful. The butterfly shrimp were also firm and very tasty. Probably the best burger in the Caledonia area. Fish fry is pretty good as well. The bartenders aren't always the fastest or the best but at least they try. They just need to be more attentive, that's all. The only thing holding me back from a 5 star rating is the service. The staff and other patrons are very nice and it's an inviting atmosphere. Good place to grab a beer and get a burger! Don't play the machines, they seem to never want to pay out. read more

We thought we'd give the place one more try.....first experience was horrible but they had just took over. Since the new owners took over Fritz's, it all has changed. Mainlywouldn't return due to most of the staff being cold. When you walk into an establishment you expect to be greeted. Not there, everyone stares at you like you don't belong and good luck getting service. If you are not a regular you will not be served. Burgers are thick and pre pattied. Found ourselves in Racine unexpectedly and stopped at Buca's after reading previous reviews. I'm usually skeptical with so few reviews, but I can concur with all I've read! I can't remember a friendlier welcome weather it be a restaurant or bar. The host actually asked and remembered our names. The place is extremely clean and refreshingly airy as the windows were open on this beautiful day. The only slightly negative aspect was the country music as I'm not a fan...but it's a country bar, so I'm the anomaly. The menu is bar fare, but all one could want or expect. I ordered the patty melt with the onion strings on the side. The burger was done exactly to the medium temp as ordered and delicious! I couldn't finish the onion strings as they were more than plentiful and excellent! My wife had a cheeseburger with homemade potato chips which she enjoyed as much as I enjoyed my meal. All in all we were very happy we stopped in and will again if we find ourselves in the area! read more

The Friday fish fry was excellent. They only issue was the need for more servers. They have only been open for three weeks so they do have a couple kinks to work out yet. 1st time here it was fantastic, this time was not bad but we came during the rush hours. Will be back for a third and forth as they continue to get better. Great atmosphere, good food, and the servers they do have are great. Can't wait to see how they continue to grow. read more
