I give this place 5 stars for the laughs my daughters and I enjoyed from the cashiers. I needed gas before I took the long drive back to queens so I stopped here. I walked in a instantly noticed the slushee machines which was music to my eyes lol, the machines weren't ready so that was a bummer but no one's fault, we grabbed some snacks and pizza and headed on our way home. read more

This gas station constantly has pumps out of service, multiple at the same time, and often ongoing for weeks. If the pump is "working" - the card payment system is not. Despite debit or credit card attempts. Not always convenient to go inside in the morning when people are trying to buy their coffee/breakfast and the line is long. I've stopped going here completely. Don't waste your time getting gas here and just go over the bridge to the Stewart's. Probably cheaper anyway. read more

Place is usually quite clean and well run. However, inexplicably, the boy working there at 1030 this evening (Nov 5, 2022), told me and 3 others about to walk in that they were closed "until 7 am" because someone had been "a jackass"....a very strange excuse indeed. Their should be a negative star option. I like the rewards and 10¢ off a gallon but this location in Cohoes is pretty crappy. 9 times out of 10 the line is out the door with 1 register open out of 3. All the while the other employee is doing something useless that can wait until they beat the line down. Went in there today, other cashier finally comes out and calls the next person, rings them out and no one in the other line moves so, hell, I walk up. And she makes a point to call over to the other line for the next and tells me to wait and they'll go in order. I don't know what was worse, the crappy customer service or the oblivious people standing in line.. I'm leaning towards the customer service. Embarrasses me like I did something wrong and then has the audacity to snidely say "Have a nice day sir" as I walk out because of her rudeness... Cumberland Farms please give these people some training in customer service or replace some of the crappy ones that are there. I actually like seeing you come back and compete strongly against Stewart's and their monopoly up here. But quality comes from quality employees and this store is lacking both. read more

Why is it that every time I come up to Albany, if I have to head to Troy and cross back over I find Cumberland Farms gas stations on what seems like every corner? Today, that happened again when I came back to Albany. I couldn't of complained; it served my needs in more than one way; not only did I get a successful (no frills gas fill up) with my GasBuddy card here, but I also had to come in and use the men's room. If only other stations would work as solidly as this fill up took. Although the men's room was a little disorderly when I arrived, it seemed like this place was on top of things. I got greeted when I walked in (though I didn't exactly see the employees who greeted me from the door) and just seemed welcoming here. read more

Staff was on thier personal cell phone while I was trying to cash out. Food/drink area was filthy, 3 of the spushie machines were out of order. Bathroom was gross with toliet paper everywhere on the floor, garbage needed to be taken out. read more

The best coffee. I wish they would make breakfast sandwiches for later in the morning. Theres always pizza! I grew up on Cumberland Farms. This place even gave me free coffee on a holiday. read more
