Gas prices here seem to be higher than most gas stations in town. There's not much to say about the store, other than it's small and has a very basic selection of snacks and drinks. On the other hand, the filling covers for the underground gas tanks are in front of most of the parking lot's spaces, to the right of the store. Once, I had parked in one of those spaces and was about to eat lunch in my work truck, when a tanker truck came to make a fuel delivery and warned that I would be blocked in if I didn't move. The employee who was the cashier this afternoon was pleasant, but on a previous visit, the cashier, an older woman, literally threw the bills on the counter, instead of handing me my change. All in all, it's a convenient location to get gas and a quick snack, but otherwise, there's nothing special or remarkable about this place. It can be a bit tricky to pull out of here, given the speed motorists travel on Route 3.

Quick service too. You can tell they actually acknowledge regular customers instead of treating everyone like a transaction. At the end of the day, it's still a gas station convenience store, not a five-star resort in the Swiss Alps. But for what it is, it's reliable, clean, and staffed by good people. There are no markings for Cash vs. Ctedit pricing anywhere. However, once the pump is in the tank, you find out that because you are using a credit card, you are now paying 10 cents more per gallon. I stopped here Monday afternoon because my work truck was nearly out of diesel fuel, and this place is right off I-295. With its huge parking lot and impressive number of Gulf-branded gasoline pumps (I counted a whopping 16), this place would fit in well in Texas. They also have four diesel pumps, two of which are high-speed pumps for filling trucks more quickly. Inside, the store is equally large, with a Honey Dew Donuts occupying the left side of the store. In addition to a drive-up, the Honey Dew has an indoor counter, as well as some tables for those customers who want to stay-and-sip. There is plenty of room between aisles of merchandise, and the store appeared to be well-stocked with good variety of drinks, snacks and convenience foods. And, it does have a bathroom (which is a requirement to earn a 4-star rating from me), although it is located in the right-front counter of the store, which was a bit counter-intuitive. It's not as fancy as Seasons Corner Market convenience stores (the white floor tiles at Circle K were boring and showed dirt easily), but it covered all the bases. The cashier at Circle K was clean-shaven, polite, and soft-spoken - quite the opposite of the large, rather rowdy group of blue-collar guys seated around a long table at Honey Dew.
