Always a nice experience here. the workers are always doing there big one. They are always prepared and they make very nice conversations. You know how some customers service people will just service you multiple times and not recognize you, well they always say hello to me and recognize me. i feel very grateful for this gas station, even if it's a gas station.They also recommend things to benefit you as a customer.Very great customer service. I've been coming to the Cumberland Farms location in Rocky Hill for several years, since returning to CT. The staff at this location is exemplary. Always willing to offer help and savings on your daily purchases. Friendly, professional...you feel like a part of a family outside of your own. I loveeeeeeeeeeeee Cumberland Farms. In my opinion, they are the Wawa of CT. If you have never been to Wawa, it is basically the same vibe as Cumberland, just in Jersey. I guess I am used to dirty looking gas stations all over NY because whenever I come into a Cumberland Farms, it is so refreshing. They are always clean and sooo stocked. This location was really spacious and the staff were friendly. There were two members working at the time and both greeted me before I even got to the cash register. I came here for a few things but also used the restroom which was also really clean just like the rest of the store. I didn't try any house made items from this location but overall I can say, for gas station pizza, Cumberland's is really good. I also love taquitos anywhere I go but they also have really delicious ones. Prices are also reasonable in my opinion.. maybe just because I am used to NY prices but I do prefer this gas station chain over many others. read more

I can't believe I live in Connecticut and have yet to visit and/or patronize a Cumberland Farms. However, when I saw that this location opened up - and I wanted to see what all the fuss about the 99 cent coffee (iced or hot) was - I turned my blinker on and headed inside. The store itself is huge, clean and bright, in comparison to many other gas station convenience stores I have been into - pretty much anything you could be looking for - from a gallon of milk to frozen food is on one side of the store, with the other side reserved for "fast" convenience food. And not just your standard coffee, stale pastry and chips. Cumberland farms offers healthy alternatives, such as fruit, yogurt and breakfast sandwiches made with egg whites that stand along side the more traditional gas station fare. And if you have some time to eat before you head to your next destination - outdoor seating is available. I was quite surprised at the beverage kiosk, located smack dab in the middle of the store, contained not only regular and flavored coffee but a variety of soda and slushee options for those hot summer days. Now the taste of their coffee is not world class but it is much better then some convenience store coffees I have had in my travels - and if the taste is really so bad - no worries just add one of the many flavored syrup and or creamer combinations available. It's customization at its most sugary best! Easy on/off I91 and definitely a good option if you are looking for some snacks, a beverage, and a gallon of gas. read more

To Whom It May Concern: Today, I got gas at this Rocky Hill location. I filled my tank, which cost approximately $30. I used a debit card to pay. I didn't request a paper receipt. Tonight I was reviewing my bank account activities. Your store charged me $75.00! SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS!!! I will be contacting the Rocky Hill Police Department in the morning to have them investigate. The time of my visit was a bit after 6pm this evening, June 4th. I have taken a screen shot of the transaction and will be forwarding it to the police department. Cumberland Farms will reimburse me immediately, or I will take further action. I will also be using social media to communicate this criminal behavior. read more

Went here for gas this morning, receipt didn't print, so I went inside, and that's when I discovered they sell large iced coffee (same size as Dunkin) for only $1.04. Um, WHAT? You put as much ice in as you want, which brew you want, the amount of creamer, and you get about 15 different flavors. Caramel apple coffee from there this morning was amazing. Dunkin and Starbucks....move over. I'm going to Cumberland farms from now on! read more

Normally I would say this was a clean establishment and might have recommended it. While we stopped I wanted an UNSWEETENED tea. There weren't any signs for any, just ice tea. I grabbed a cup and put a little in to Taste it, when some man(NICK) yelled at me from behind the counter. I said I was just trying it to see if it was UNSWEETENED, because I can't have sugar. Nick then proceeded to tell me to read it. I told (Nick) that it's not marked and he kept arguing with me then came over to see it and I told (Nick) show me where it says UNSWEETENED tea. And no where does it say UNSWEETENED... Nick then turned away and never even apologized for yelling at me or arguing with me or insinuating that I can't read... This is HORRIBLE customer service and he needs to GO!!! In a world now where people are begging for business, CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE A TOP PRIORITY... if you stop in ask for NICK and ask where the UNSWEETENED tea is, cause it's not written on the dispenser, only says tea.... read more

My friend went in there attempting to buy a bag of chocolate covered flipz pretzels. Instead of it being a very pleasant experience the lady working the front desk decided to yell at my friend for not swiping her card the right way. When we tried to laugh the situation off she continued to speak rudely to us. It was very uncalled for and made us feel exremeley targeted and unsafe. Would not recommend. read more

Because you don't review bad gas stations... you expect them to be kind of icky, right? This place isn't perfect by my standards for food (no salad bar, lol), but it's pretty gosh darned heavenly for a stop off of the main highway. There are fruit cups, sandwiches and salads, along with a whole selection of beverages and snacks that look pretty fresh. This place was busy, and I can see why. In addition.... the employees are nice, friendly and helpful. There were 4 in the convenience store organizing, cleaning and helping customers. FOUR? Crazy amazing. The restroom was clean?! Overall, this place just felt clean and cared for by a staff that does what it should with some sense of pride and responsibility. Very cool. read more

if you done have the cumberland app, what are you waiting for? it can be found under smartpay in the app store, or simple search for cumberland farms. you are given SO many discounts via the app including gas, food, snacks and drinks. automatically there are 2 freebies. they do have an expiration date for use (let's say one month), but once you use it OR ot expires another offer is available in its place. These offers go from energy drinks, water, vitamin waters, snapples, coffees etc. the list goes on and on. There are also combos on the app (a lot of them at that). For example buy a coffee any size, get a bag of free chips and so on...You are given the option to upload your debit card (not cc unfortunately) to receive additional $ for everytime you get gas. This place is so so new and has new clean pumps and new clean cases and seemingly unlimited supplies of soda... AND YET... they manage to fuck all that up, with the very fact that when you walk in it smells like spoiled milk, to the point that it may actually make you sick. I couldn't even stand 2 minutes in here because of it. I don't know if it was something that day or what was going on but it was so extremely offensive i couldn't handle it. Prices are okay for this area, in comparison, this isn't the best spot to get in and out of a gas station people are constantly racing by from either side, still its on the corner so it has some options, BUT i dont think i would go inside, even if i had to get gas here. This new location is fresh, clean and very bright. There are plenty of gas pumps so you're never waiting, and the inside is very nice and full of good snacks. The staff seems pretty cool and generally helpful. It's a good place to have right by work. read more

The gas station was clean, well-lit and well-stocked with snacks and drinks etc. The cashiers seemed to be inexperienced but the manager (Nick) seems to have his act together and was unfazed even as his staff seemed to get panicky because we needed to get a refund after accidentally paying twice for the same items. read more

I couldn't get a slushee. There were two employees, no customers, and they have ridiculous hours of 3AM-3PM during which you can be served a slushee, and I couldn't help myself. You can get your own slushee in Mass, and coronavirus isn't even transmitted through surfaces. Worst Cumberland farms I've ever been to. Employees didn't even greet me or offer to help. This a fine gas station. It's clean and well lit and there is a good assortment of foods inside hot and cold. Watch the cashiers though, they sometimes ring up your order wrong for the incorrect amount. read more

I came in as I often do to refill my personal cup with soda. The cashier charged me $1.27 for the soda, then argued with me when I complained he overcharged me for a .89 cent refill. I have been getting sodas in this cup for years and it has always been the same price as .89 ALL SIZES! If the price for refills using recyclable cups has gone up, please state so in the pricing. read more
