My favorite TJMaxx in the Atlanta area and even better it has a Homegoods combined. They have the best selection of products to me and plenty of them for great prices. There is plenty of parking and the employees are friendly even when it's busy. read more

I'm surprised to see so many really low revenues. I've never had anything but a good experience at this location. Not excellent but good. Pros: -it's a TJ/HomeGoods combo so they have all the things -the jewelry, bags and decor sections are fantastic. -huge décor section (like 60% of the store) -manager tries to make sure they don't put tags where they will be seen it ruin the item if hard to remove (I literally spoke with her about this while asking about the price of an item) -staff is all really nice in my experience Cons: -typically understaffed-particularly on weekends -low stock on actual furniture (but what they have is good!) -will only store for 3 days I don't recommend shopping here on a weekend. But like that goes for all TJ & HomeGoods. It's not just this location. ALL of them are terrible on weekends. You will wait in very long lines. But that's true of all of them in my experience so it's not really a factor for me. I just try to not go on weekends or after working hours when it is naturally busier. read more

Been coming here for a long time, since 2009. And I love this location! I will still shop here, my only gripe is an associate that I encountered today. I have never experienced rudeness or negativity until this woman. I went to try on some merchandise, and I spoke with the pleasant woman who usually runs the fitting room; she is absolutely a pleasure to all customers all the times I've seen her here. While getting ready to try on my second selection of clothing in a 15-minute window of time, an older woman who says she goes by the name of Delores was sitting in the fitting room entry corner just chatting with the aforementioned associate. I am not sure if Delores was on break, but by the way she addressed me while I was going in, says to me that she was just taking a break on company time. She advised me that I could not take my water bottle into the fitting room and said to me, slightly condescending, "You need to leave that there, mama, you can't take that with you." I found this odd, being that I have ALWAYS brought my water bottle with me to several TJ Maxx locations, and not a single person, not even a manager, has ever told me to leave my water bottle. I left it there; I didn't argue. I later went to find her and ask if she was a manager, to which she replied, "No," just a lead associate (whatever that is), but it was written and "posted on a piece of paper by the fitting rooms" that bottles are not allowed in the fitting room. So when I told her what I mentioned before about my previous visits and never having to leave any beverages I brought with me...she just smiled and said, "Well, you can go read it, it's in the fitting room." My response was no, I don't need to read anything, but what I do know is not even a manager in this store, ANY of the stores for that matter, have ever told me to leave my closed-contained drink (as I waved the bottle at her) outside on the counter. It makes no sense; it's mine." She then asked, "Wait, so what's in there?" referring to my bottle, I told her it was water! So I, patiently, yet annoyed, walked away to put away the merchandise I did not want, and her response as I came back in her direction was as follows, "you know what all you had to do was tell me you had water I would've let you take it in." Pissed at this point, I said to her, "Or you could've asked me if the bottle was mine. But you assumed what exactly?" Her response was "I didn't know, I thought you got that from the back...it was just miscommunication" Management, please check your nonworking employees, they're doing the most without doing the work they're supposed to be doing. read more

This is definitely my favorite TJ Maxx in Atlanta. There is plenty of parking. This location is inside of a shopping plaza. They have a great selection of my favorite candles DW Home, they also have a great selection of shoes, handbags and clothes. I definitely enjoy that this location is combined with a home goods! Two of my favorite stores in one place...HEAVEN! I visit this location pretty often. They currently have an employee at the store cleaning the carts for the customers. They also have it sectioned off and marked 6ft apart for the line to check out. The cashiers are wearing masking and gloves for protection. I would recommend this store to everyone. I always find quality items here for a reasonable price. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service, called to inquire about the availability of an item and was put on hold for 15 minutes. I then called back, was immediately "put on hold" and then subsequently hung up on. When I called back a third time, I was spoken to rudely and told that no one would be able to check the availability. This all occurred between 4:10 and 4:30pm on 3/29/24. read more

The first couple times that I came to this T.J.Maxx / HomeGoods location - both pre-COVID and post-COVID - I was extremely unimpressed. The store was crammed full of product and completely cluttered. Lines were 30+ people long. The one-way aisles executed post-COVID were poorly laid out and confusing. I was reluctant to return after these experiences but was encouraged by my sister-in-law to come back. I was delightfully surprised that the store had a more reasonable amount of inventory and check out lines were much shorter (15-20 people) and moved quickly. Though the store still has plenty of room for improvement, it had dramatically improved from where it was a couple months prior. read more

Highly recommended! They have such good clothes for kids. I found jack-o-lantern Halloween hoodies for my kids and the love them. They also had lots of registers open so checkout is very quick. Highly recommended read more

Understaffed. They could surely use some extra staff to keep the lines down and the merchandise from looking like it was thrown in the air and landed where it may. Part TJ Maxx/Part Homegoods. Maybe they should separate the two, because it just feels like its too much stuff in here. Went in looking for champagne flutes and left feeling very unsatisfied. Was able to luckly find some great clearance prices on some athletic gear, but the lines were so long, I laid everything on a table near the door and headed back out. read more

You can often find a wide selection of unique home decor for sure here. I've also snagged a few really good quality jeans from here. But my goodness....the lines are always ridiculous. I've been to several HomeGoods during the holiday season and this one has to be the worst. If you go, be prepared to wait in line for at least 45 mins to an hour. I'm not even kidding. I've been trying to return something for several days now and the line literally touches the back of the store. It spans several aisles. I end up leaving . I recommend going very early in the morning, because around noon and onward it's a mess. It's a shame because I really do like this location. I'm not sure if it's an understaffing problem because it seems to be getting progressively worse based upon other reviews and my own personal experience. But something needs to be done. read more

I thought I was going to a TJ MAXX nope its a TJ Maxx & HomeGoods together! I went shopping for my placed and I tried my best to fight the urge but I failed and purchased some heels. TJ Maxx and Home Goods had a lot of really nice items. The store was well organized whic made it easy to find the item that I was looking for. I felt safe as soon as I walked in the store because there was security there. The lines in this location are usually long but it moves extremely quick because they have several people working the registers. I was lucky enough to find a duvet cover that matches perfectly with these wall stickers that I purchased from IKEA. Whoop Whoop. The duvet cover was at a reasonable price as well $30 bucks. I will always come here for my home decor before I go to a mall or department store and end up spending twice as much money. read more

SEVERLY UNDERSTAFFED!!!!!! I chose my items earlier in the day and stood in the mile long line for about 20 minutes but i had to go back to work so i asked a worker what time they closed and if they would hold my items. He stated they close at 9:30 and they would hold them until closing. I advised him that i would be back a little after 9 and he said i would be fine and put my name on the items. As promised i returned at 9:10, stood in line only to get to the register and find out that my items had been put back. Fortunately i was able to find them but then I had to stand in a two mile line for the third time in the same day!! The takeaway is that they should ensure that the staff is fully trained on the policy and realize that a little bit of empathy goes a long way. On a positive note this location usually has really good finds. read more

They racially profile you even when you're wearing your badge from work. I kid you not. I went to the store during my lunch break to see if they had any attractive jewelry in stock. I wasn't in the jewelry section for more than 2 minutes, before the woman behind the counter called for help in the section. There was only one other person there, a White lady who was looking looking around just like I was. I won't be returning to your store. read more

Let me start off by saying that I'm a fan of both TJ Maxx and HomeGoods. I've bought a lot of stuff from both stores over the years. However, this location is plagued by several problems. I don't normally do reviews by lists, but in this case, it's simple and effective. Here's what's wrong with this location: 1. Understaffed - The line to check out on a Saturday wrapped back around itself twice and people had been waiting for at least 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous, especially when the manager is standing around folding clothes. 2. Poor selection - Despite the size of the store, there isn't a good variety of either TJ Maxx or HomeGoods type merchandise. The store is too small to really showcase what either can offer in separate locations. 3. Apathetic Associates - I went in on Saturday to view a cabinet. I saw another at the front of the store and asked how much it was. I was told that it was reserved for someone. I said I just wanted to know the price. The clerk didn't know, and asked a manager. He said "Um, maybe $250 or $350? I don't know." Ok, fine. I go back a couple of days later. The piece is in the back because the buyer never showed up. I ask how much it is. The same clerk STILL does not know what it costs, and the manager STILL couldn't give me a price. I would have bought the cabinet the same day if someone could have simply told me how much it cost. 4. Overpriced Furniture - The furniture seems to cost more than it does in a free-standing HomeGoods for some items. I'm not sure what was going on with this, but I saw the same end tables at other HomeGoods for less money. 5. Cluttered Junk Everywhere - There is a massive "clearance" section that is really just a home for damaged returned goods. There were shattered picture frames, broken down stools, and shelves where the wood was completely broken down, complete with doors falling off. What discount did you get if you would just haul away this rubbish? 10%! That's right, there is a store policy that furniture can only be marked down 10% when it's damaged, no matter the condition. Most of what's in clearance should just go straight to the dumpster and make room for merchandise that might sell. read more

This is a beautiful location Love the organization of the store with the beauty products separted out. The juniors/ ladies section is not as vast as others, however service was on point as well as the bright layout of the store. I chatted with the manager a bit she was very frienly. I would go back to that store it is my favorite in the plaza by a Ross and Marshall's. read more

I've gotten some really nice things from this location, including a beautiful 7.10x10.2 rug I just purchased. The parking can be frustrating at times if you're trying to get closer up, but I try my best to go during their non-busy times. When I purchased my rug this week, the manager (I think that's who he was) was joking around with me while I was looking at the rugs. But I don't know what happened between the time he went to the front and came back to the area I was in...because when I told him I had decided on one and needed help getting it down, he didn't say a word and seemed to have a very bad attitude. Even on our way up to the register, he kept hitting a lot of stuff with the basket since the rug was so large and I was making jokes about it, still no word! Even an employee made a joke about it as we passed her...NOTHING! So I am not sure what happened all of a sudden but he did a 180. I am improving your sales for the day, how could you not be happy?! Luckily, the gentleman who helped me put the rug into my car was still very friendly (I had come into contact with him while looking at the rugs also). All in all, I definitely recommend this location...just not sure what the manager's deal was. And may I add my rug looks GREEAATTT!!! Got so many compliments on it the very first day. :) read more

This TJ Maxx is one of the better ones that I have been to. There is always something that you want to walk out with here (their purse section is pretty sweet!). Also I tend to get the cutest tops here. The one thing that you have to keep in mind is to be really patient as you will have to sift a lot to find a gem here. This is also a great place to find cute ties, especially since the ties that I have seen tend to be pretty steep. One of the things that you should really keep in mind though is that the best time to shop here is during the week. There will be shorter lines and more the likely you will find better stuff, since during the weekends all the good merchandise tends to get picked. For a store that's basically a Homegoods and a regular TJ Maxx mixed into one, they don't have the greatest variety and selection. I've started coming in with little expectation because I rarely find anything here. I can say that they have a BOMB designer bag section! This is my go-to for purses because they have a great variety. Their shoe section needs some help. I am always searching for matching shoes (why do people just take one shoe? who does that?) or for shoes in my size (darn my size 9 foot!). The bedding section leaves a lot to be desired. You've been warned. I wouldn't give this 2 stars only because the customer service is good. read more

Attempted to find this location today for the first time and if you are using ANY TYPE of GPS BE PREPARED to be completely ANNOYED. Needless to say I didn't find this location and I simply just said forget it after calling the store and asking for directions when BOTH my phone GPS and car GPS kept insisting that I had arrived to an area that was a parking deck. I drove around and around and around the vicinity in hopes that I would see it and still NOTHING. Oh well, I recently relocated here from Chicago so I have no idea about the area BUT I do know I WILL NOT attempt this again!! WASTE OF MY TIME! read more

JUST NOT MY DAY! This is a really nice Tj Maxx and Homegoods store. It was clean and well organized. There was a great selection of household items and home decor. In addition, the TJ Maxx had great summer clothing options and sandals. Although I love TJ Maxx, I would love to see them carry more casual tees with full sleeves. My daughter is most comfortable in simple tees and I could not find just one. Many of their tees have patterns, logos, cap sleeves or are just not in the appropriate fabric. I just wanted some simple casual tees that would pair well with shorts. Next on the list, I wanted to find a simple feminine option, but had no success because many of the current choices have those silly cap sleeves that we just don't like. Today was not my day but I am still a fan. I really appreciated that on this busy weekend the store was fully staffed and check out moved along quickly. Still recommended! read more

I hardly ever go to TJ Maxx anymore however I went out of desperation today and remembered why I never go. Quality and Selection is just mediocre. I mean there is never anything there exciting. If you "need" something I'm sure you can find it. But to get something trendy, the latest, something you're excited about I just don't see it. The jewelry is blah, the shoes are blah, all of it is just blah. I know there are finds to be had but you must dig for them and their is no guarantee. I was specifically looking for a swimsuit and blazer today. I left empty handed. Not many selections of one pc suits especially in the smaller sizes but that can be said of any store. overrall though the styes were very very boring. Either suited to juinors or women 40 plus, no inbetween. Didn't see any blazers that would work...they didn't have many. It will probably be a long time before I go back. Some tips...this store while not as high end seems to be more organized than the buckhead loop location. Items seem to be in their proper place and not all tangled up. This is one of the better TJ Maxx stores in the Atlanta area. This store is HUGE and has a great mix of fashion and housewares. It is nearly impossible for me to leave this store empty handed. The only negative is that the checkout lines can sometimes get backed up during peak hours (weekends). Other than that, I love this store! read more

This TJ Maxx always has a great selection of items to choose from, but it is close to IMPOSSIBLE to ever find find a sales associate on the floor of the store to help you when you need one. Also, no matter what time of day you come in the store it is usually packed with people and they usually are understaffed to handle the crowd when checking out. Today I waited a long time to checkout because there were only 4 registers open for the literally 15 people that were standing in line in front of me. They need more associates working in the store at the registers and on the floor to assist customers. read more

This has to be the worst TJMaxx ever. They are slow in checking people out, they are horrible with returns and have the worst customer service. I brought in a receipt to return an order made online. Not only would she refuse to return it for me within the 30 day window, I had to return it as a non receipt item and show my ID because she didn't know how to return items bought online. And she was the manager!!!!!! I love TJMaxx but I really really don't like coming to this store. read more

I went to TJMaxx on Cumberland Parkway today, 9/10/17. I was there around 3:30pm. I went to shop for household items as I just purchased a house. While there I decided to look at handbags. I found a beautiful black leather Marc Jacobs bag that was locked. I asked the lady at the fitting room station if someone could come and unlock the bag. A young lady came about 5 minutes later. I pointed her to the purse. She promptly said "It will be at the cash register". I said do you think I could look at it before you take it to the cash register? She says "yes" and hands it to me. I gave it back and again she says "It will be at the cash register". I don't know if I look like a thief or if this is store policy. Either way, I left the bag at the cash register and the $200-$300 worth of merchandise that I was going to purchase in the buggy. read more

Store is a complete disaster with broken items which sit on shelves for weeks and months. It is disgusting, I am fed up. No prices on many items during my visit today. Have found better deals on EBAY with FREE shipping. Train wreck here - needs new management. read more
