This has to be one of the cutest sections of Atlanta I have visited. It is right beside the Braves stadium and you can literally see if from the restaurants while you dine. I was invited to an event at the Battery. The BIG GAME SHOW is opening up, and we got to be apart of it before it officially opened. The experience to be apart of a game show was amazing. Our host was cool and the 2 guys up front were nice. They gave us all the information we needed before starting the game. I suggest parking in the green lot. Whe you walk out turn left, it's right next to BURN Cigar lounge. Our team was winning the entire time up until the end. Im ready to go back for a re- match lol. We had a great time! This is a really cool area, walkable with plenty to do. We were there for a concert at the Roxy, and afterwards we enjoyed walking around. Some of the things that caught my eye were the Silverspot theater and the Escape Game. We didn't have time to catch a movie or play a game, but it nice knowing it was there. We stopped into PBR Atlanta for a drink and enjoyed their outside seating and their large fire pits. We also enjoyed an appetizer at the Yard House and played some bowling at Punch Bowl Social. read more

We gave been here for an escape game... great fun! We have cone to play at battle and brew... an awesome time for gamers! And we have been to watch a game when we didn't have tickets.... The area around the stadium has all kids of options! However if you are coming when it is game time it gets very crowded! Everything fills up so be prepared. There are several parking options and usually lots of space. I have never had a hard time finding parking... just be prepared to pay for it. Awesome addition to the Atlanta area. This is a huge upgrade from the neighborhood the former Braves stadium was located in! Before checking out the game Tuesday night we checked this area out. Tons of shopping, tons of restaurants/bars. There was no shortage of activity in this part of town. Everything from food to arcades and even an escape room. This part of town offers plenty of pregame and post game activity, as well as on days there is no game. I enjoy going to the battery, there's plenty of restaurants and things to do here including watching the Atlanta Braves play. When there isn't an event happening parking is free for up to 3 hours. You can walk around the battery with alcohol and almost every if not every restaurant will have a little bar outside so you can stop and really bar hop if you'd like. It is a great place to relax outside during the nice summer months, they have different events that take place for free and some for a price. There is something to do here for everyone. read more

Fun times at Truist Park - Battery in Atlanta. First the Truist Park - aka The Battery There are a variety of eateries / bars when you can stroll around the park before heading to see a Braves Game. Also there is small place where kids can play on the artificial turf or run through a water geyser area. While the parents or adults can sip on "adult" or nonalcoholic drinks while having a decent meal from the many restaurants. Get the food "to-go" and chill out on the turf while hearing a DJ or other performers on the stage. We saw a few people bring their lawn chairs to relax and be entertained by the people. So you don't have to buy a Braves ticket to enjoy the festivities in the Battery. The Truist Park - Battery itself was 4 stars. This is due to the congestion which can be very tight when overcrowded with people and the booming music being pumped throughout the park. I wouldn't want to be here when it is 90 + degrees and lack of wind. Smelly, rude, and hungry people are not my thing. If I want that type of atmosphere, I would travel to a different "theme" park in Florida - if you know what I mean . I know - I have been one of those smelly, rude, and hungry people and that was just at my house! At times it was hard to hear a conversation but the atmosphere was lovely and fun! Will definitely hang out and enjoy the restaurants and not go to the game. Just chill and relax when the rest of the fans are in the ball park and you have the Battery all to yourself with your closest 5,000 of your friends! Prices and value varies but most of the restaurants, bars and shops are reasonable. I would say it about 10-15% higher than you would find downtown or just a couple of miles away. read more

We visited on a Friday, and alot of places were closed or closing between 10-11:30. It was clean the lights were shining bright, and it reminded me of a bigger size Atlantic Station. The few restaurants that were still open seem to be playing live music from a DJ or they were having karaoke. The stadium is awesome!! The view of the field is great at any level. There's tons of concession stands and the offer private lounge seating and buffet menu options as well. My company had us come for a Braves game and we had seats in there Hank Aaron Terrace which offered us buffet menu of hamburgers (meat and beyond), chicken tenders, nachos, hotdogs etc. We also had an open bar filled with your options of beer, cocktails or wine. Located on the outskirts of Atlanta. Home to The Truist Park and Coca-Cola Roxy. There are also lots of restaurants, bars and retail stores. I am not from Atlanta but I would compare it to City Walk in Orlando. It's a nice open plaza. There really is something for everyone to enjoy. There is a handful of amazing restaurants including PH'East, Terrapin Taproom, Walburger, Jenis Icecream and more. For entertainment you can come see a Atlanta Braves Baseball game during season. Catch a concert at The Coca Cola Roxy or there are been Fountains for kids to play in during non peak baseball season. They have lots of stores to shop at and a handful of bars for night time fun. Downfall....Parking is limited so be wise when visiting The Battery. I recently came to a concert at The Coca-Cola Roxy and there wasn't parking for Miles. I ended up missing 80% of the show. I would suggest being dropped off for concerts or baseball. Otherwise SELF PARKING on non-event days parking in the Red, Green, Silver, Yellow and Purple Decks is free for the first 3 hours but rates to peak during games. Overall the Battery is fun to explore before a game or show and you will enjoy the food and drinks offered. I still think they need a better parking system. There's no need to be a baseball fan to have a good time here, but with Truist Stadium serving as the anchor for all the fun and Braves pride flapping from all the balconies here, I typically leave my Yankees cap at home when we come. On game nights, the vibe is nearly electric here. Even without tickets, we were able to catch most of it from the big screen right outside the stadium, where lots of other fans collectively cheer the hits and home runs. Once, the mascot even made his rounds, giving exuberant high fives to fans all around. Summers are especially fun, with children (and daring adults) splashing around the water play area right by the green space. The entire area is open container, allowing the adult fun to spill out into the streets - within reason, of course. Food, drink, and dessert options abound here. There's even an Asian food court, Ph'east a few blocks down from the stadium that provides all three. I especially appreciate how many parking structures there are in the area so that there's never reason to worry about finding a space (game days are an entirely different story, with ticket holders choking off traffic to the area both before and after the game). For some adult fun, Punch Drink Bowl is a large game-based bar with a few bowling alleys, darts, and even a small karaoke room. There's also a dine-in movie theater, and an ever-rotating schedule of concerts and events at Live! at the Battery. read more

Being a group of nine, we happy to find a table just large enough to accommodate us comfortably. Our waiter came by shortly thereafter to take our orders which included a milk shake with a kondak bar on top, french fries, chips and guacamole as well as a few other items. Overall, we had a good time but found the music to be blaring in our ears half way through our stay. So if you are sensitive to sounds then I would advise against coming here. Midtown Atlanta has Atlantic Station. Alpharetta has Avalon. Cobb County has The Battery. What makes The Battery different from other mixed-use, live-work-play developments in metro Atlanta? They have the Braves. Truist Park, known as SunTrust Park from 2017 to 2020, was built specifically with The Battery in mind. As someone familiar with the area due to where I live and work (or worked, pre-COVID), I paid somewhat close attention to the construction of The Battery and the impact it's had since it's been built. The Battery and Truist Park opened in early 2017. Now that several years have passed, I have to say it's been a success. Simply put, The Battery has become a popular, busy place. I remember the thoughts I had when The Battery was being developed and had first opened. One thought I had was the Braves organization was smart to find a new location that (1) was in the middle of Braves country, (2) had enough land for both a ballpark and restaurants/retail, and (3) somehow maintained an Atlanta address because sometimes, teams move their new arenas/stadiums into the suburbs. I would've never imagined the Braves would move to Cobb County, but still be in "Atlanta." And I would've never guessed they'd move into the Cumberland area. If anything, I thought the City of Atlanta and Fulton County would have built something like The Battery around the old Turner Field (now Georgia State's Center Parc Stadium). For whatever reason, that never happened and the Braves left downtown Atlanta. Another thought I had was how weird was it that all these nearby office parks used their parking lots and parking decks for Braves gameday parking. Since the Braves moved to The Battery, our company's Braves parking passes have been inside an office deck across the street from The Battery. Attending Braves games over the years, I have to say the Braves seem to have done a good job coordinating with these office properties. Parking has been painless. And I'm sure it's a win-win for the Braves and the property owners who are presumably getting paid for after-hours usage of these lots and decks. Logistically, I remember there was talk at the office about traffic getting worse on I-75 because of The Battery and, of course, gamedays. However, in my experience, traffic didn't get significantly worse because of The Battery. If traffic got worse, in my opinion, it was because of metro Atlanta population growth in general. Traffic in and around The Battery has seemed OK to me. A reason for this I think is because the lanes immediately surrounding the development were expanded and/or redesigned. This includes the lanes that lead to Cobb Parkway (41) from I-285 and I-75. As for The Battery itself, it's nice. I can see why the Braves built it. Other MLB stadiums - and other American pro sports venues in general - are surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Unfortunately, Turner Field didn't have that. The Battery is a monumental upgrade in this regard. When it comes to dining at The Battery, some of my favorite restaurants so far have been Antico Pizza, Wahlburgers, Superica, El Super Pan, and C. Ellet's. Another favorite of mine was Gio's Chicken Siciliana. Unfortunately, Gio's Chicken closed in July 2020 due to the pandemic and uncertainty surrounding the 2020 baseball season. It had only been open for about a year (opened June 2019). Like any mixed-use development, The Battery pulled in attractive restaurants and retailers. As far as restaurants, on the local side, The Battery drew in Giovanni di Palma of Antico Pizza, Ford Fry of Superica, Hector Santiago of El Super Pan, and Linton Hopkins of C. Ellet's. Hugh Acheson's Achie's closed in November 2018 after being open for only about 11 months (opened January 2018). PH'EAST opened in February 2020. It's a food hall featuring stalls of local Atlanta Asian eateries like 26 Thai Kitchen, Poke Burri, and Lifting Noodles Ramen. It's also home to a Kung Fu Tea. Thip Athakhanh's Lao eatery Snackboxe Bistro, inside PH'EAST, was reported closed in August 2020. I've done a few things at The Battery aside from going to Braves games and eating at restaurants. They include playing golf inside Truist Park, completing escape rooms at The Escape Game, and helping to organize our company's holiday party at the Coors Light Chop House. I think The Escape Game is one of the highest-quality escape games in town. As far as our holiday party at the Chop House, it was a success. Like attending a Braves game, one advantage to having our holiday party at the Chop House was being able to enjoy The Battery before and afterwards. Afterwards, of course, included The Battery's bars like PBR Atlanta ("A Coors Banquet Bar") and Punch Bowl Social. The battery Atlanta is a very cool space that features several places to eat, drink and play just outside the gates of the home stadium for the Atlanta Braves. Me and my buddies were on a weekend getaway and was walking the professional sports teams stadiums and parked along the 3rd base Line. As we walk around to the rear of the data down we walked up a big set of steps and was shocked to see this lively place and all its offerings. What a surprising and cool surprise. It was around lunch time so we picked a place and grabbed Lunch before we finished our journey around the stadium. LOVE The Battery! Tons of restaurants and shops to visit. They have a fun candy shop, Jeni's ice cream, plenty of bars to grab a drink. Ph'east is an awesome Asian food hall (we love grabbing Thai tea from here). Grab a beer flight at Terrapin Tap Room! They host a bunch of fun events at The Battery (Braves Fest in January, Santa's workshop in December, etc). During the holidays they decorate with a huge tree near the Atlanta Braves sign, large ornaments and lights everywhere. So fun! Plenty of parking garages available and most of them are free for the first 3 hours. It's only a few feet away from The Roxy and of course Truist Park is in the same space. Game days are busy with the walkways flooded with Braves fan - I love it! It's such a fun place to have lunch/dinner (even breakfast at Goldbergs), grab drinks with friends/coworkers, date night, family night, or even bring friends from out of town. The Battery is definitely not a must-see/do if you're visiting from out of town. It feels very manufactured, almost like a movie set. It doesn't feel authentic. There are many other places in the actual city of Atlanta you can go to. They could've made the area around Turner Field into The Battery, but because the white season ticket holders mostly live in Cobb County and surrounding areas, that was out of the question. So now we have to either drive and pay a ridiculous price for parking or use a ride-share app and pay a ridiculous price for Lyft or Uber (and have to wait forever for it to get there), all because Cobb County residents voted against MARTA. (I recommend driving because it does take forever, especially right now with a shortage of Lyfts and Ubers, to get a ride.) Go to the Battery for a Braves game, but it's not worth it to drive (and park and pay) all the way out there for anything else. read more

Came to pickup our order on a Friday night & What a cute date night this is !! This was 5 minutes from our hotel EVEN hotel . I'm quite impressed by the Battery; I love the mixed-use space with living, entertainment, and dining. The first time I came, I came to check it out with a friend who stayed behind for a concert. The parking wasn't bad that day (I think it was 2 hours free instead of the usual 3 that you get when there's no event happening). I would definitely come back to hang out with friends at Punch Bowl Social or Good Game. There's quite a few great restaurants and bars here. I wish there were some more local shopping type places. There's a women's clothing shop, record store, and sporting goods. The only thing I didn't like was how much parking was for the Braves game. I didn't know it was going to be $40 in the silver lot (other color lots were pre-paid/permit only). That was more than I paid for the ticket! Always love going to the battery to meet up with friends and grab drinks. Small area with plenty of great restaurants and bars. Pbr and yard house and punch bowl are open fairly late with restaurant like antico's and superica closing pretty early. The parking can be a bit pricey on game days but on non game days we are usually able to find some free parking. There's always something to do at the battery for both adults and kids. There is a green section where you can lounge on a blanket or throw a ball around. The battery is a cool place. It's much more to just going to watch the Atlanta braves play. There is restaurants, lounges, bars, a little center park area, escape room, cigar bar, there's countless things to do in a little area. Well maybe not countless but there's a hell of a lot to do! If you want to go to eat and shop you can do that, if you want to go to watch the game at a sports bar you can do that as well. It just really looks good and looks clean and it's someplace that you would want to go to. You can get around the fact that parking is not the cheapest, but in that area you kind of know what you're paying for. There's plenty of parking to pick from though. It's pretty safe as well, you'll see security guards around, so at least you're not to worry about a lot of stuff starting. Sad to say but this is my first time here since they moved the ballpark location. Holy smokes what an incredible setting too. It's a baseball haven as it should be. Home to the new World Champion Atlanta Braves. I spent about 3 hrs just walking around and wow there's tons of places to grab lunch or dinner and dang the clubhouse store had pretty much everything one would want.
