I felt comfortable with what Megan shared she felt was my issues with my sinus problems. She listened to me and was very professional.

I would give a 0 if it were available. I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy. My wife (WHO IS DEAF, but has low tone hearing in the right ear) went in to see Dr. Manilla who looked at her and told her she was profoundly deaf and he will not recommend a hearing aid for her to hear our new baby but would advise her to pay them to put a cochlear implant into her head of which she does not need. Then on top of that we paid them the initial bill, filed a complaint with the office manager who straight response was the doctor was correct when though he does not do the hearing part of the ent. Then they have the nerve to send us another bill. We already paid you once you provided no service and in my eyes you first discriminated my wife because she is DEAF then you tried to take advantage of her by not providing the service she asked for instead pushing her towards a service of which cost 10,000-20,000. Then my wife goes to a different audiologist a week later and in 2 weeks she has a hearing aid made by the same company this ent sells you and it works perfect. So, you tell me what type of medical facility this is. read more

My wife's vocal cords were injured during a procedure at a different doctor's practice. During the procedure my wife stopped breathing and the anesthesiologist numbed my wife's vocal cords and manually manipulated her jaws to facilitate breathing. The result of this was that after the procedure my wife could not speak properly. She could only whisper. So, her family doctor put her on steroids for 10 days, which did not help. Her doctor then referred her to Cumberland Valley ENT. We didn't even get to see a doctor. Instead we saw a PA, who didn't seem to be able to understand why we were there. The PA's judgement was that my wife needed to take steroids and let more time pass. We told the PA that it had been 33 days since the procedure that caused the injury and that steroids had already been tried. The PA insisted that my wife take steroids. The PA asked for our pharmacy. The prescription was never submitted by the PA!!!!! So, here we are day 39 since the procedure and no better. We will not return to this practice. Very, very disappointing. read more

When I first made my appt to discuss getting my tonsils out at 32 due to many factors I was apprehensive. Dr. Manilla was very positive and reassuring and confident that this was the right choice for me. Skip forward to post op where im having major pain on my tongue and Im thinking I have thrush. I called my ent nurse and the next day the surgeon Dr. Manilla who both assured me that I didnt have thrush and i just needed to take my meds and drink. However i couldnt drink!! Drinking water was like drinking acid!! I told him that an he almost giggled as he told me that it was uncommon for someone to get thrush after my type of surgery. Well i showed pictures to my nurse friends who were adament i had thrush. Went to urgent care and what do you know..i have thrush!! Not happy that i was just brushed off. I have a decent pain tolerance.but this was unbearable. I cant imagine how it would have gotten worse had i not gone and gotten a second opinion. I went to CV Ent in September. I was in with Dr. Saylor for 15 minutes. He looked in my throat, my nose, and ears. When he looked in my ears there was wax in both of them. He cleaned them both, which took maybe 3 or 4 minutes. When I got done I went to make my payment (I don't have health insurance) I was charged $680 but if I pay in full I got a 20% discount, that made my payment $544. I did not say anything at that time but called back the next day to ask for an itemized bill, she said she would mail it to me. 2 weeks later I still had nothing, so I went in to see about getting my bill. The lady that check patients in got me the bill and went over it with me. When she got to cleaning the wax out of my ears she said the charge was $380. I was like WHAT? She said insurance approves that amount, I said I don't have insurance, she said well you got a 20% discount, I said I got the discount because I paid in full.
