I recently had my mother to Dr. Karen Hamilton at Audiology Services as she was having hearing issues. Dr. Hamilton saw my mother and found that she was is need of hearing aids. After a very thorough consultation and examination my mother received them and is extremely pleased with the outcome. Dr. Hamilton was very patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable making this a very non stressful time for my mother. Her professionalism with her patients speaks volumes about her practice. I recently took my mother to Dr. Karen Hamilton at Audiology Services as she had been having hearing issues and was in need of professional care. Dr. Hamilton was extremely helpful in diagnosing my mothers loss of hearing and assisted her with purchasing new hearing aids. She has made the process very easy from the initial vist to the diagnosis and the actual purchase of her hearing aids. Her professionalism and care for her patients speaks volumes about her business. Dr Hamilton is amazing!! My boyfriend has been struggling with hearing for the past few years. Final decided to get tested. Dr Hamilton took her time did not make us feel rushed. Sat and explained how the hearing process worked and how his hearing had been damaged. We received demo aids and wow can't explain the difference. He is so happy with the results as I am! I would highly recommend Dr Hamilton and her staff. So friendly and accommodating. read more

I was extremely well pleased with my visit to Audiology Services. Courteous and prompt service. Dr. Hamilton demonstrated excellent skill, knowledge, and integrity. She did not try to push me to buy unnecessary and expensive devices. I highly recommend this service. read more

Karen A. Hamilton, MS, CCC-A has over 20 years as an Audiologist in the Hagerstown, Chambersburg and Gettysburg area. George Kalin, MS, has over 35 years experience as an Audiologist in Hagerstown, Chambersburg and Gettysburg areas.

Karen A. Hamilton, MS, CCC-A Karen Hamilton completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology from West Virginia University. Karen also earned her Master's Degree in Audiology from West Virginia University. She is certified in audiology by the American Speech & Hearing Association and holds a Maryland state license for audiology/ hearing aid dispensing. After graduating from West Virginia University, Karen moved to Hagerstown, Maryland, to work with audiologist George Kalin at Audiological Services, Inc. Over the next 25 years, she worked in the field, providing audiological and hearing aid services in three Ear, Nose, &Throat practices in Hagerstown,Chambersburg, and Gettysburg. In 2011, Karen Hamilton became the proprietor of the audiology practice founded by George Kalin. Audiology Services, LLC provides audiology services for Dr. Bandy, an ENT in Hagerstown. She also provides full services for her own patients in her new office located at 201 Prospect Ave.

My wife (WHO IS DEAF, but has low tone hearing in the right ear) went in to see Dr. Manilla who looked at her and told her she was profoundly deaf and he will not recommend a hearing aid for her to hear our new baby but would advise her to pay them to put a cochlear implant into her head of which she does not need. Then on top of that we paid them the initial bill, filed a complaint with the office manager who straight response was the doctor was correct when though he does not do the hearing part of the ent. Then they have the nerve to send us another bill. We already paid you once you provided no service and in my eyes you first discriminated my wife because she is DEAF then you tried to take advantage of her by not providing the service she asked for instead pushing her towards a service of which cost 10,000-20,000. Then my wife goes to a different audiologist a week later and in 2 weeks she has a hearing aid made by the same company this ent sells you and it works perfect. So, you tell me what type of medical facility this is.
