The gentlemen on the phone said that I would need to come in. He told me that there hours are Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm. I told him that I work in State College so I would try to make it in before they close at 5 or first thing in the morning. I then rush home from State College to get there before 5 only to find that at 4:35 they where closed and gone for the night.

Even though the Altoona Meineke has no real affiliation to the NJ Meineke, they offered to look at my car free of charge, and also said they could fix the rattling problem for free. When I asked them to change the muffler completely, they did so at a very low rate, and I know that it must have taken more than 1/2 an hour of time to do...so I believe they cut me a very good break. They guys are honest, and they do the job well. In fact, I was so pleased I asked them to do my alignment and wheel balancing the same day.

hi, I'm the type of person that you as a provider of goods and services will only get one chance to…read moreget my money. after that you'll never get a second chance.. but when you have satisficed me to the point that I've payed you I'll be yours forever and will only get my referral. bobby Rahul has failed. this is why. for my youngest sons first car with 10,000. he saved by him self we choose a Honda pilot. they had one on the lot we reckoned the car Sunday and Monday at 8am i called the sales man for a closer look. he said ok let check he allegedly looked at his terminal and said yes i see it we set the appointment to see after my sons school day. for 4pm at 2pm the sales man called and said oh that car is gone we sold it to an employee. first of if employees are getting something before a customer to me that's not good business and at that point it should have never had a sale sticker on it and it never should have made it to the sales lot. I'm all for making your workers happy but they already get there pick of the litter as it is. well being i work in the field and service 45 to 54 cars a day I will be more then happy to pass along my experience to my customers. i will provide a contact info to a representative if needed. but its to late for them. far to many people selling stuff to get stuck on one if they are not willing to try.

My daughter-in-law found this auto repair shop on a mommy site for young mothers. This was a newer business. The owners Chris and J (not sure his name) were very friendly and professional. They repaired my car for a nominal price so much so that I felt bad leaving with them having done so much for so little that I asked them to do other things for my car such as a oil change so I didn't leave without them making some money off me. I have been going to Reliable for many years without any problems. Always did good work...until…read morerecently. I had my vehicle in last Wednesday (7/15/26), for its inspection. When I scheduled the appointment on 7/10/26, I informed them that I thought the flex pipe on my exhaust was starting to fail, the girl at the desk said they would look at it. On the day of my inspection, I was told everything was fine..no problems. Fast forward to yesterday, 7/20/2026, I go outside to start my car up in the morning, and it was cooler. As I started it up, by the sound, there was definitely an exhaust leak, and it was, for sure, coming from the flex pipe. I called Reliable to schedule an appointment, and the same girl who was working the desk on my inspection day, answered. I explained that I just had my car there on 7/15/2026 for an inspection and that I had asked them to check the flex pipe and that I had been told everything was fine and they passed it, but now, a few days later, a failure of the flex pipe. The girl on the phone asked for my name and vehicle make and model. She quoted me $8,000 for a full exhaust replacement!!! Not $800, but $8,000, because, that's just what it costs now!! $8,000 for a 2021 Ford Ecosport. I get new exhausts for our Ford Transit 350 HD's at work for $1,700. Tell me you don't want to do the job, tell me you're too busy, but don't give me this line of BS!! The girl on the phone gave me the phone number for another company and told me to call them to have the work done.
