As I was paying for this work a mechanic mentioned that he was surprised I didn't ask to replace the fan clutch. I had never heard of a fan clutch. I tested the work by driving out to the 18 Road trails and sure enough, it was still over-heating. So they replaced the fan clutch. It would have been cheaper of course to do everything at one time. A good shop would have mentioned that issue up front instead of trusting the customer to know the solutions. Soon after this work it snowed and the camper van mostly sat unused from late October 2020 to the end of March 2021. In May and June 2021, just months after this initial work, I had to have the water pump and fan clutch replaced by a shop in Junction. That means I got only 2 - 3 months use out of the parts they installed. They installed either junk or did a poor job of installing them. I won't be back there. The shop I use now is terrific and I'm having my two older vehicles being well maintained there. They include needed future work on the invoice so I can plan my maintenance and pre-empt problems when traveling in remote areas such as south Utah or the Colorado mountains.

Their location is very convenient in downtown Fruita next to City Market. David diagnosed that my battery needed to be replaced immediately and was able to install a new battery and have me back on the road in less than twenty minutes. I spent a few grand having a good body shop go completely over my truck and take care of anything…read morethey found. Replaced the entire bedside, tailgate, and re-paint most of the truck. The top of the cab was original paint and had zero damage or paint defects. After paint, took it to Line-X and told Frank I wanted the cab top and lower belt-line sprayed for protection. 6 months later I noticed the top of the cab peeling back on the edge. Investigation revealed I now had rapid developing damage under the Line-X. No edge seal, no adhesion, and not even wiped down before sprayed. Took it back to Frank who informed me that mine was not the first one he's had come back. Claimed that , due to COVID, he has had trouble getting product so I would have to wait to get it fixed. Meanwhile he has plenty of product to keep spraying new customers, seemingly every day. It's been over a month and still not stepping-up. I have cut out all the damage, treated all the rust and re-primed the area at my expense. All I wanted was Frank to do was the, minimal, right thing and re-spray and seal what he missed. I brought a Subaru Impreza to this shop in June 2026 to diagnose the cause of recurring oil drips…read morecoming from the engine/transmission area. The Antonelli's mechanic who inspected the car concluded that these drips were coming from a bad oil plug gasket, and coolant leaking from a "melted radiator" that would cost roughly $3,000 to replace. I authorized the mechanic to change the oil plug gasket and do an accompanying oil change (which they mishandled by overfilling the oil level), and then took the car to the local Subaru dealership. The Subaru dealership mechanic quickly traced the oil leaks to bad gaskets on the transmission check plug which cost $100 to fix. The radiator was perfectly fine. The dealership mechanic was at a loss as to how someone could have recommended replacing it. And the best part - oil was still seeping around the oil drain plug. The root cause of which was an aftermarket oil plug that some shop had installed years ago. It's a minor inconvenience I can live with until my next oil change. My advice - if you own a Subaru, avoid this shop at all costs. You'll be money ahead taking it to the local Subaru dealership instead.
