After having a horrible experience with line X in Montrose Colorado, these guys made everything…read moreright! Frank was so nice and re did our boat exactly how it should have been done in the first place. I would definitely recommend this place! Great customer service and a great representation of LINE-X!!

I spent a few grand having a good body shop go completely over my truck and take care of anything…read morethey found. Replaced the entire bedside, tailgate, and re-paint most of the truck. The top of the cab was original paint and had zero damage or paint defects. After paint, took it to Line-X and told Frank I wanted the cab top and lower belt-line sprayed for protection. 6 months later I noticed the top of the cab peeling back on the edge. Investigation revealed I now had rapid developing damage under the Line-X. No edge seal, no adhesion, and not even wiped down before sprayed. Took it back to Frank who informed me that mine was not the first one he's had come back. Claimed that , due to COVID, he has had trouble getting product so I would have to wait to get it fixed. Meanwhile he has plenty of product to keep spraying new customers, seemingly every day. It's been over a month and still not stepping-up. I have cut out all the damage, treated all the rust and re-primed the area at my expense. All I wanted was Frank to do was the, minimal, right thing and re-spray and seal what he missed. Guess that's asking to much....

Daves Auto Salvage in Clifton... stay far away unless you want to get RIPPED OFF. I was even told…read moreto not go to daves... after I went to daves :( I pulled out a bad transmission from my Jeep Grand Cherokee and installed it myself so I could sell the jeep before I moved. The transmission I got from Dave is $500 with tax. He said "this transmission runs great. You have a 30 day warranty." I put it in... it didn't work :( Terrible transmission. It didn't shift into second and first. Two days later I had to leave the state so I called up dave from out of state and said "The transmission doesn't work" dave says "you need to pull it out and bring it in" ?????????? It costs $450 to have a transmission removed and re-installed. THAT'S $450 MORE I HAD TO PAY BECAUSE DAVE SOLD ME A BAD TRANSMISSION On top of that, because I had a transmission guy test drive it to see what the problem was, Dave voided the warranty. The transmission guy even said "You shouldn't have gone to daves" If you ever talk to this guy, you'll see he doesn't seem very honest. There are much better salvage yards, Memos and The Trade Center have much more friendly and honest people. Don't go to Daves Auto Salvage in Clifton.

We are taking his "son" (the kid who works there) to court over an even trade deal he's trying to…read moreback out of that THEY (the owner) and he pressured us into signing. Sooooooo glad we did now!!! After reading all the negative reviews everything that has happened makes sense. My guess is they took any good parts off our car and put bad ones in it then tried to back out because they got what they wanted after what I've read here. We will be seeing them in court and possibly pressing criminal charges depending on what they do between now and then. If anyone tries to buy the 88 Nissan 300zx, DON'T - It's already been traded and there is a signed contract.
