My husband took our dog to the pet area, which has a nice walkable path and plenty of trees to sniff. Dog approved. There was a decent line, but honestly there were plenty of things to look at while waiting. Two people ahead of me even bought souvenir sweatshirts and T‑shirts. The service was incredibly friendly--the barista taking orders was patient and kind. I ordered my husband a latte with a chocolate chip cookie and got myself a coconut latte. I was a little apprehensive because coconut in a latte can easily turn into a sugary mess, but I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor was nicely balanced: good espresso with just a hint of coconut. We enjoyed our drinks at a picnic table in the dog area. Super relaxing. There is also a gazebo for people to enjoy drinks (non dog area). My partner got the avocado omelette, it came with toast and hash browns. We were surprised by how fluffy and soft the toast was, definitely the best toast we've had at any breakfast spot. He said the omelette was tasty too. We also grabbed some coffee and pastries before we left. I had a spicy German sausage and a chocolate bar, my partner got an apple fritter and an apple pull apart. I had the chocolate bar later after our hike. It was sweet and fluffy, not too heavy since I had it with coffee. Then I had the German sausage for dinner. The sausage was actually spicy, not just a mild black pepper kind of American European spicy, but a real deal spicy. I loved it! Staffs in the bakery were very friendly and attentive too.
