This place is awful. I placed an order through door dash and they smooshed 2 cupcakes into a small white container together; leaving out my 3rd. On top of that, the cheese cake was frozen solid. Very disappointing

Sketchy place. Ordered 3 brownies and 3 cupcakes. The brownies were all put in a ziplock bag. The brownies had walnuts in them! This was not in the description on Grubhub. Thankfully no one had a nut allergy but I definitely think that's a big flag. Worse! I found plastic wrapping in my brownie so definite red flag! The cupcakes were shoved into a white plastic container. So yeah never ordering from here again. read more

Can't wait for their response. I placed an Uber Eats order but no one could deliver it. I called to cancel and they said I'd be charged. It's not as if someone was hand making the cupcakes from scratch.....They were literally sitting on the shelf. She said they could not refund the money because they already put the cupcakes in the bag. I asked them to take them out of the bag. They said they couldn't. I say booooooo. No customer service. Dis-connect from the cupcake connection. Dis-pute the charge. Dis-gusted. Dis-appointed. Dis-mal. Dis is fun. read more

After calling several bakeries trying to get a Paw Patrol cake made, I finally found someone who would do it. Not only did she do it, she hit the ball out if the park! By far the best! I try to come here more, but don't get a chance to. First let me start by saying, it always smells wonderful inside like icing and sweet deliciousness lol The cupcakes are priced very reasonably and are so moist and yummy! You're definitely going to know who the owner is, because she is must likely going to greet you and make you feel right at home! Go get a cupcake, you will definitely be back! read more

Best Banana Pudding you'll find anywhere in the city. Cupcakes are habit forming because you cannot just eight one and you don't want to share, but that's the trick of it all so it forces you to buy a half dozen that way you can eat two, give two friends one a piece and still have two for later....lol...yes they are that good. I'll recommend trying this place if you like sweets. read more

Ladreeka Atwater established Cupcake Connection Bakery in 2000. She has been in the baking industry for over 10 years. Cupcake Connection represents Ms. Atwater's solution for not so much what consumers had been exposed to, but what they had not been able to find. After many years of saving money, recipes and ideas, and then one year of construction, and more debt than you can shake a stick at, opening day arrived. At 12 noon on January 23, 2004 the first retail store opened for business at 5876 Norwood Avenue, in Jacksonville. From the very first minute, the oven operated at capacity. Ladreeka has built the business to one, which supports over 800 individual and corporate customers. Her desserts have been served as far as Maryland, Texas, and to military members local and abroad. Now, Ms. Atwater with her youngest son, D'Angelo, at her side opened Cupcake Connection Bakery II on December 3, 2011 on the Westside of Jacksonville, Florida at 5560-4 Timuquana Road.
