No bananas or whipped cream again.
    Linda H.

I am angry as hell at you. You do not have a phone service due to your mail box not being set up. I am tired of ordering your Banana Funnel cake that does NOT come with bananas or whipped cream as you described. I even wrote special instructions on NOT to forget either one. But here it comes, opened box and not there. Or a sliver of a banana cut into 5 tiny pieces and no whipped cream. I am so tired of this false advertising or the laziness of you or your employees. I have a $10.00 discount on my next order which I am going to use for a last hurrah with you guys. I am also going to leave a lousy review again, with this new screw-up. I look forward to this dessert as I cannot get out of my house too often. Ruined again. WHEN YOU DO IT RIGHT......IT IS GREAT. But that is fewer than the mess-ups.

I got the strawberry cheesecake and OMG it was amazing. I got the small funnel cake. Definitely will be going back !!!

Both my cousin & then a friend told me I had to try the Funnel Cake Spot, so it was time to stop in. I got the strawberry cheesecake specialty toppings & it was absolutely delicious. If you love funnel cakes, you have to go! It's a small spot but they do have a couple of tables if you want to eat-in.

Tucked away in the heart of Arlington, I am greeted by the beautiful aromatic smells of a fresh funnel cake. The funnel cake fries were so cute and fun with a MILLION different toppings. They offer food like hot dogs with all of the toppings and many, many other items. The shop was very clean and freshly remodeled by the owner and his family. This business is owned by a local Jax resident and his family so it 100% had the authentic, Duval style atmosphere. Don't be thrown off by it's location, the workers and owner are so enthusiastic and put their heart and soul into their creations. You can even grab some ice cream with your funnel cake! I LOVED the strawberry cheesecake toppings on my funnel cake fries with a side of vanilla ice cream. Next time, those hot dogs are calling my name. The owner has a bus and will be ready to book for events and catering soon! (Set up your appointment now, he is already booked out for months!) I was so happy I got the chance to check out the Funnel Cake Spot and meet some amazing guys ready to brighten your day and enlighten your taste buds!

Today I wandered into funnel cake spot, aka- a wonderland of "pretty and pink" decor with an even sweeter menu. they have a wide selection of mini funnel cake, regular funnel cake (which is ginormous), funnel fries, and deep fried donuts. You can garnish all of these fried treats with their pre-set cookies and cream, almond joy, banana pudding, turtle, strawberry cheesecake , fruity pebbles, reesess lover, strawberry banana float, and butter finger topping combinations, or you can create your own. Each funnel cake is prepared right in front of you throughout their open kitchen concept and it only takes a few minutes to receive your order. Everything is "to-go" only at the moment but they do have chairs to wait and inside while your orders being prepared. personally, I got the strawberry cheesecake mini funnel cake which is topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries, strawberry drizzle, powdered sugar, cheesecake bites, and cheesecake drizzle. This is one of my favorite flavors of all time and it was executed very well on top of the funnel cake. Its almost like I was eating a strawberry waffle. If you're in the mood for a quick sweet, this is the perfect place for you. Everything is priced very moderately between $5-$10 and only takes a couple minutes to receive, and you definitely won't leave hungry!

Pulling into the parking lot I started getting upset because I thought I was given directions to the wrong place and wrong time. No cars was there when I pulled up. So I tried my luck. Great customer service. Delicious funnel cakes. Not a long wait unless they're bombarded with delivery orders.

I was helped by this beautiful dark skinned lady. She was so nice and then a white man came in with a pink funnel cake shirt, he was just as pleasant. Very nice people and delicious funnel cake. My only regret is not buying a bigger funnel cake

This place was fantastic. Made to order and fresh ingredients. Creative menu options and very welcoming and friendly staff and environment. I went seeking comfort food and am relaxing, full, and comfortable. Did I mention affordable? It was $17 for 2 small treats (banana pudding + fruity pebbles) that fed 2 PROFESSIONAL snackers plenty. I'll continue to support this local small business from time to time. Im proud to have a shop with a team like this in enriching our community.

Our visit to Biscottis in Jacksonville's Avondale neighborhood managed to do both. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and seated immediately, and the atmosphere had a welcoming energy that made the restaurant feel like a true neighborhood gathering place. Susan ordered the Quiche Lorraine, and after the first bite we both knew it was something special. The crust was delicate and buttery while the filling was rich and perfectly balanced. It was so impressive that we awarded it our Culinary Duo Best of the Best dish recognition, which is something we reserve for truly standout dishes. Peter went in a different direction and ordered the Sweet Potato Pancakes with house made white cheddar hash browns. The pancakes were flavorful and comforting, and the hash browns were crispy with bold cheddar flavor that made them impossible to stop eating. Another thing we appreciated was learning that Biscottis carries the Slow Food First Coast Snail of Approval, recognizing restaurants that support sustainable agriculture and local food traditions. The service throughout the visit was cheerful and attentive, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. If you enjoy restaurants that combine great brunch dishes, incredible desserts, and a lively neighborhood atmosphere, Biscottis is definitely worth visiting.

So today we decided to visit your establishment for brunch (Saturday, May 30th). Well, after being put on a waiting list for 30 minutes, we finally got our table, and the issues started. The young lady came to the table with a glass of water us two and one (1) straw. Stating that she will have to drop off a ticket and will be right back with another straw. So 15-20 minutes later, we still had not seen her, my partner stopped a young lady (Asian) and asked for a straw, which she had a few on her. A few more minutes after that encounter, she came back to the table and advised that they were a little busy and asked if she could go ahead and take our order, so we did. A few minutes passed, and our first waitress came back to advise that we could not remove the corn from my partner's meal choice, so we decided on something else. At which time, the waitress said that our drinks could be right out, and she proceeded to the table behind us with the birthday party attendees. My partner then watched the waitress who just took our second order stand there and talk to that group, and still had not submitted our order. Another 15 minutes have now passed, and we still have not received our drinks of choice. My partner and I have started to get a little frustrated. He went to the front desk and advised the hostess of the issues we were having. After returning to the table, we both decided to leave (without eating). Needless to say, we are very disappointed in the service we received and will give it some serious consideration on returning in the future.

It was a little bit of a drive away, near the beach, and there was absolutely no parking on a Friday night. My husband dropped me off and circled while I placed a few to go orders. It was a cute little shop with donuts, shakes, and ice cream. The donuts are not traditional donuts; more like deep fried donut holes that are covered with all kinds of yummy toppings. They're also served nice and hot and in 10 packs. They had lots of cool donut flavors like: Dark Delight, Maple Bacon, , White Tella, and Love U Matcha, The prices range from $8.75 to $9.50 per box. They all sounded yummy; but we decided on Twix Fix, drizzled with caramel, melted chocolate, and cookies, and Lotus Crunch, which was topped with melted Biscoff cookies. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes and the bag of donuts was nice and warm. We ate them when we got back home. They were more chewy and heavier than regular donut holes, but rich and delicious. You could really only eat a few; so a box of 10 is a decent sized dessert for 2 people to share. Lukumades is definitely a very unique donut experience and worth supporting because they're not a huge chain. You'll be glad you tried them....and its worth the drive.
