She was super patient and great at explaining the importance of the safety features and proper posture of archery. The staff overall were super welcoming and took the time to walk us through the basics, which made it really beginner-friendly. They explained safety, helped adjust the equipment, and gave helpful tips on how to improve our aim. The range itself was clean, organized, and well set up, which made the whole experience feel comfortable even for someone who's never done archery before. It was more about grouping the arrows versus trying to hit the bullseye. Definitely a great activity if you're looking for something different to do with friends or family. I'd recommend it whether you're a complete beginner or just want to try something new. Looking forward to coming back and improving my aim!

It was our first time into this range, and we had such a blast that we're considering becoming a…read moremember, and grabbing our own gears! The staff are all amazing, and they are very passionate and knowledgeable, so you're never left feeling like you're at it alone, should you need more help and teaching. We came in on a Sunday morning for their 10AM outreach class that went over safety information, instructions on how to hold a bow and positioning of your body, and types of commands, to listen to, that are given out when you're on the range. I believe our instructor's name was Jack, and he was so informative and patient with us. After spending 30 minutes with him, we were fitted for our gear, and led to the range to begin practicing. If you are unsure or your form needs some adjustments, the staff members are always nearby or behind observing everyone. This range has walkable trails that are available to members, but their practicing range gives you a taste of how well-kept the site is. They do have outhouses for restrooms, and parking is free. We were able to enjoy our morning out for just $5 - SCORE! Their website provides ample amount of information regarding hours of operation, outreach program info, and upcoming events at the range. Will be returning soon, and hopefully have the chance to walk their trail ranges in the near future!

I've watched them both coach both kids and adults and am amazed at how welcoming they are. They helped me see that fencing really is for every age, body type, and level of experience. We were both beginners when we started, and he helped us build a solid foundation pretty quickly. In just a few months our rallies went from a few hits to 50+, which we definitely didn't expect when we first picked up a racket. Coach keeps things fun, relaxed, and easy to follow. He's great at breaking down technique -- forehands, backhands, footwork, consistency -- in a way that actually makes sense and sticks. He's also calm, encouraging, and funny, so we genuinely look forward to every lesson. Our lesson package has been totally worth it (and we plan to continue). I'd recommend him to anyone -- beginners, couples, or really anyone who wants to improve while having a good time.

He also asked me to make a 5 star review right around the mid point of my lesson package (3/6) and spoke badly about people who left bad reviews and told me what to write. Two sessions ago, he asked me to show up 15 minutes early and I ended up waiting the entire time. He also spent the first 10 minutes recording a Facebook video ranting racist remarks about caucasians because he was upset the student before me seemed happy about getting shots on him when his body was weak due to arthritis. This most recent session I showed up on time but he chatted up the student before me 10 minutes past our start time as I waited outside. When I told him I had to leave due to another commitment, he did not acknowledge me at all and instead responded "no worries, I'm going home." I think if I'm being honest, I felt slightly uncomfortable as a woman about how he would text me constantly about things unrelated to our lessons (his health, his personal expenses, restaurants he would visit, etc).
