They provide 90 minutes of employee-supervised activities, which means the parents get to sit back and relax while 20+ boys completely wear themselves out. Yes, they get incredibly sweaty in the bubble balls, but they had absolute a blast. From a logistics standpoint, PlanetXone is incredibly professional. I WOULD GIVE ZERO STAR IF I COULD. GREG KEPT MY DEPOSIT AND IS NOT RETURNING MY CALLS! I don't usually give zero stars to local businesses because I know how that can affect them, but I've got to my limit trying to deal with Greg. I made a reservation with Greg almost 2 years ago. We had to reschedule due to the weather and also the pandemic. I've been trying to contact Greg since March 2021 and he does not return my calls and emails. We recently held a party for approximately 80 people with a mixture of young kids, teens, and adults. My son wanted a Nerf-themed party and I saw that PlanetXone would set up their own arena and bring all the equipment and safety glasses so that we could just show up and play. They arrived on time and had everything set up and ready by the time our guests arrived. PlanetXone was such a huge hit at the party and it was great to see both adults and kids play. I can't forget to add that the business owner, Greg, was very pleasant and quite responsive with communication. He would respond within a few hours at the soonest and at the latest, within a day. He worked with me to understand what I envisioned and he helped bring that to reality. During one of our conversations Greg guided me through different possibilities at different locations within the Bay Area. We finally settled on Marin County since there were new restrictions in San Francisco and there were other issues in San Mateo County. Archery Tag/Bubble Soccer: An amazing and fun option for company team building! Fair rates and incredible hosts Greg and Pensiri! Whether you're young, younger, or very young, you won't regret booking with Planetxone. + zero troubleshooting needed from start to finish + easy communication with the owner, Greg + fair rates + equipment in excellent condition + venue options all around the Bay Area + so, so, so very safe (foam tips, masks, safe zone) + Greg and Pensiri even went to the trouble of taking pictures and video for us! - the masks for archery can get sweaty with use, so ideally some wipes would be available or clients should be advised to bring their own. - beware of bug bites in a park area! I immediately jumped on the chance for Archery Tag when HR ~uncharacteristically~ approved the activity for our team building event!! What a fun event! After browsing the website, I spoke to Greg over the phone and got an immediate quote: for our group of 17 people, the rate would be $395 for a 1.5 hr event and 10 sets of bows (5 vs 5 at a time). Each additional bow set would be $30. We decided to order two extra sets (6 vs 6 at a time) and with tip, everything came out to be $505. We had our event at Bunny Meadow in Golden Gate Park SF. Luckily, we did not have to pay a venue fee because park reservations in SF typically aren't taken after 6pm. Otherwise, the venue fee can vary from $30 to $80. We paid a $200 deposit first, and then the remainder on the day of the event. Greg was incredibly responsive and from the second we arrived on site - all the materials and gear were already set up and ready for us. It was so cool to arrive to the exciting sight of 4 giant bubbles greeting us (set up as target practice), with a neat line of archery bows and arrows laid out, ready for use. We spent some time getting a quick lesson on shooting the bow, and then getting some target practice in using the 4 giant bubble soccer bubbles. After about 20min, we proceeded to initiate a game. The field is set up in such a way to imitate dodgeball: each team stays on its own side - in the middle is a "safe zone" that no one can cross over. This ensures that people won't get overzealous or overly aggressive during the game. In the beginning, there are giant bubbles for each side to hide behind, but as the game progresses, Greg and Pensiri will roll them away to keep advancing the game. The arrows have huge foam square tips at the end, so even if you do get hit, you aren't going to bruise or feel hurt. Every one playing is also obligated to wear a mask for face protection. Ask Greg if you need wrist guards. We had a fun time - there are two suggestions I would give to interested clients. 1. bring some wipes to wipes down the face masks as they get sweaty quickly. 2. If you're in GGP, bring some bug spray! We didn't even see any bugs, but a good number of us all discovered bug bites in various areas (THROUGH our clothes!) after the event. We just hosted an 8 year old birthday party in GG Park and the kids played bubble soccer. PlanetXone showed up on time and super organized. The park is closed to cars on Sunday, so they had to haul everything in from Fulton Street to the Bunny Meadow. They were sweaty but smiling. We did not have to do a thing (they even took pictures, which I was not expecting!), refereed and did a safety talk at the beginning. They played a variety of different games with the kids but I think they liked just rolling down the hill the best. I reached out to a few bubble soccer companies and fortunately for me I am so glad that I ended up not using them. Greg from day one was super helpful and quick to reply. I had trouble getting a permit to have a bubble soccer party in the city we live in and he had great recommendations. We had a joint 13 year old party and ended up doing both the bubble soccer and nerf. Luckily for me, on the day of the party he showed up extremely early to the park I rented only to find the field padlocked closed. Greg called to inform me of the situation which then got me on the phone calling any city phone number I can find but it was a holiday and I was not able to get in contact with anyone. This got me to then email anyone I thought who can help and thankfully someone eventually did call me back once they received my email. Long story short, if Greg wasn't at the original park 3 hours early to clean the balls I probably would not have been able to get a different park reservation in time for the party. Once the park rental was all situated, Greg and and Nathan started setting up. When they were done, they let my kids start playing earlier than our start time. Nathan and Greg were awesome with the kids, they were engaging and were so on top of it. A park maintenance person almost shut our party down and Greg was able to talk to him and work it out. I feel like Greg goes above and beyond to ensure a successful party. His helper Nathan is great with the kids and was always interacting with them. I am extremely happy with their service. He replied quickly after I contacted him, answered all of my questions, and provided a list of places in Golden Gate Park where we could have the party. He also followed up in the days prior to the party to confirm numbers.
