Before trying their wines, I was a snob about fruit wines. You know the code: The drier the better. But they were able to bring me down off of my high-horse and learn that fruit wines deserve an equal place in the world of wine. Yes, they have an excellent syrah, cabernet, and corot noir, along with dechaunac and chambourcin. I'm not sure about other wineries but Satek's pinot noir contains espresso. It is a subtle flavor but I bet it will give you an extra charge that you might not have been expecting. Larry's Luscious Dry Red is a favorite, along with their 101 Lakes. But if we're gonna get right down to it, I am a complete fan of their blackberry wine and their ice wines. Right there is dessert magic.
