It's their prerogative to restrict dog owners from entering, of course, and completely understandable as a food business, but politely turning away customers with more than three words would be a wiser business practice. It's a pretty looking tea shop and I'm sure their tea is great. If you have a pup in tow though (no matter how small) you won't be able to pop in and order to go, FYI. I was a bit let down by this as the cream was barely sweet so the matcha flavor couldn't shine through. I tasted a bit of bitterness that must have been from the matcha, but it definitely needed sugar. Weird because usually macarons have the opposite problem of being cloyingly sweet. Silvana (Quezo): My partner liked this so much that he went back the nect day to buy more. We didn'tk now what silvanas were, but it sounded yum and I'm glad we got it. Like the macaron, it came frozen so we had to wait until it defrosted to try. The cheese gave it a salty-sweet flavor (the best kind of flavor, if you ask me) and the texture was soft with a slight bread-chew, kind of like biting into a tempurpedic pillow instead of a regular down one. Either way, sweetness level and texture were just right. Come here for the silvanas and tea, avoid the macarons even though they look cute. I had ordered a large with Taro balls. They make it with Oreo crumble on the top and honestly that's all you taste. It taste more like a cookie and cream drink with no sign of chestnut whatsoever. There are some broken pieces of chestnut at the bottom, but they taste it almost waxy. Similar to what others have said this place is a little bit more expensive and using Uber eats make it even more expensive. It was almost $11 for one drink probably won't be coming back.

After doing a quick look at the bubble tea places to choose from, I chose TP Tea. There's one closer to my home, across the border (it sounds fancy) in Scarborough. I needed to check out a different location. TP stands for Taiwan Professional. I still think of my former intern who disliked a software tester at our workplace who creeped her out. She nicknamed him TP, which stood for Toilet Paper.... haha! Anyway, I digress. I walked in and there were two staff members. A young man came over to help me with my order. The Thai milk tea looked so good in the poster on the door that I went with it. I couldn't get it without any sugar, so my order became less sugar and ice. I also got tea jelly. I had never heard of tea jelly before. Tea jelly in tea? Hey, why not? I paid with a credit card. I tipped and tapped. I also signed up for TP Tea's points program. You simply enter your phone number and sign in through the touchpad each visit. You can get free toppings, free drinks, and more. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This store is deep and narrow. You can't sit down and enjoy your drink. You also can't use the washrooms. The woman behind the counter asked if I needed a bag. I politely declined and said that I was going to drink it now, which made her laugh and nod. I wished both folks a great day and headed to my car. The Thai milk tea ws excellent. If you like strong tea, you want to come here. The milk was perfect to balance out the tea. I loved the tea jelly, which added a cool flavour dimension to my tastebuds that I have never experienced. It was awesome and I got a decent amount of it! Less sugar worked out nicely. My drink was a touch sweet. Perfect! I had a great experience. One issue we encountered was during the ordering, the CSR mentioned when you buy 2 drinks you are eligible for another drink for x. We took advantage of this offer. We went for a walk in the mall as with all tea shops the bottle neck is in the preparation time. 15 minutes later, we came back and saw only 2 cups ready and no promotional cup. When we inquired the staff with our receipt, they escalated to the manager on duty and gave a nice story of they do not have this type of promo. They can only give us a promotional key chain for our incident and said enjoy the free key chain. I am sorry, we paid an upcharge for the drink and ended up with a keychain? I am sorry that is not acceptable and walked off with the receipt. Of the 2 drinks, one was prepared wrong and not even remotely close.
