This was one of the more satisfying breakfast I think I have ever had. While trekking through Canada, I wanted to find some cool new breakfast spots. This one popped up on my radar and I thought I'm going to go check it out. Located in a home Depot shopping center, it was pretty easy to find. Upon entering the place, it had a very cheery bright atmosphere. I was able to grab myself a table and take a seat. Robin, my server, was there in a heartbeat to grab me some coffee. The coffee itself is very tasty, they have a fairly comprehensive menu, and had plenty of options. One thing I was actually stunned about was the low prices. A breakfast of two eggs, bacon and home fries was only $6.99. I jumped in and ordered a couple upgrades including a pancake on the side and the peameal bacon. Again, this was one of the most amazing meals I've had. I had never experienced this type of bacon before, and now I am absolutely hooked. Everything overall was cooked perfectly. Seasoned excellently and I can't say enough nice things about this place. Service was on point, food and atmosphere was all there. Bottom line? I will definitely be hitting this place again, and you should too. Located in a stripmall, the restaurant dining was clean and tidy. Large baskets of creamer, syrup, and sugar sat atop the tables, no need to wait for those. This place was just not good. We asked for scrambled eggs with cheeese and received scrambled eggs, which were dry & unseasoned, with cold shredded cheddar on top. I asked the waitress if the cheese could be melted & was told there was really no way to do it. It could be put under a heat lamp but that would take some time. We have asked for our eggs this way at other establishments and never received them like this. The bacon was floppy & needed to be cooked more. My daughter loves pancakes, but she wouldn't eat the ones here. I tasted them, and they were very dense, and tasted like they were from a not-so-great boxed mix. My mother and I were visiting the Niagara Falls area for her birthday week and we decided to come here for some brunch. We were seated right away and our waitress was excellent. The French toast was cooked very nicely. Not too firm or soggy, just right. The whipped cream made it taste good. We added Canadian maple syrup to our meal and it made the French toast taste even better. The egg and bacon breakfast was good. The toast was fresh and came with a side of strawberry jam. The potatoes lacked seasoning and needed salt and pepper. The omelette was also good. I'd recommend pancakes or French toast here though because that's what they're known for here. We ordered a side of peameal which is what Canada is known for. It basically tasted like a slice of thick ham. The iced latte is boring, nothing to say here. I went with the Canadian hashed which has peameal which I didn't know what it was but I always try local things especially in Canada. It was explained to me that back on rolled in cornmeal. The plate was huge with peameal, Canadian bacon and home fries and topped with 2 eggs. It was delicious but the best thing I had was their strawberry jam.
