Another branch which I had bought the glasses , refused to honor my sunglasses' warranty, but Gino took the initiative--verifying my purchase, making calls, and searching records--until he replaced them with a brand-new pair. He truly made my day. Gino is a valuable asset to Sunglass Hut, and I'll gladly recommend this store to friends and make all my future purchases here.

There were no other customers - surprise, surprise! - with that kind of attitude who would want to shop there. Then they basically told me to go away and not disturb them. They are deliberately trying extremely hard to STOP people from buying sunglasses. Look at your sales LUXXOTICA at - 'Sunglass Hut' - Hudsons Bay - Park Royal North location. You are wasting 'HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS' at this location because the employees are deliberately sabotaging sales by DRIVING CUSTOMERS AWAY. This location would have better sales & service if you hired the gestapo instead or if you made it self-service.

Ok I would like to update my review about this place. My original review was coffee shop with eye…read moreglass store. But it's actually an eye care store with a coffee shop. I was looking for a new pair of glasses as I work in front of computers a lot. I've used the dollar store ones, that didn't last. I've looked at other optical stores and they have limited reading glasses and often really expensive. I went online and found the selections Kits offers. Wow! There are tons of good looking, good quality, fashionable, and latest trending eye wear at affordable prices. I decided to pay a visit, and there are lots to choose from. Their website is very easy to navigate and you can even virtually try it on to see if it looks good on you. I decided to pay them a visit at the store. They had a promo buy one take one at that time. I selected the Dunbar oversized and York. I am very happy with the quality. The service was good and people were helpful. Although it took several visits for me to get the right one. My glasses were sent by mail to me, which was fast, 2-3 days even if the timeframe they give you is 5. I ordered reading progressives, no power on top and was hoping it will have power 2/3 of the bottom. It arrived and only the bottom 1/4 was useful. I had to take it back and the one I talked to said it can be done and measured my eyes. When it came in the mail it was the same. I took it back and the person I talked to said it's not possible because there will always be a transition zone. So I decided to just have it changed to single lens. The people at the store are nice and helpful. It would be nice if they asked more questions and have rapport with clients so the back and forth can be avoided. I was thinking they must be spending a lot on mail, which can be avoided if the advice and order at the first point of contact is correct. I'm not very impatient with these things as I have been in sales and customer service a long time ago. The customer service people on the phone was also helpful, fast, and easy to deal with. Overall, I'm impressed by the speed at which I received my glasses in the mail. I will order more. For the price, it has great value. Now I know the process and what I want so it will be faster. I recommend this place. Check it out!

Ridiculous experience trying to contact Kits Eyecare and ask a couple of simple questions. Went to…read morethe website and didn't find answers there so, as one does, took the phone number and gave them a call. Silly me! I actually expected a person, or at least voicemail, to answer, but no such luck. Tried half a dozen times over two days and my calls went unanswered. Well how weird is that?, I wondered. Next move was back to the website to input my question into the chat window. Of course the only one to reply is Amy the AI chatbot who tells me I'll have to ask an actual person at the shop. What did "she" think I was trying to do? Lucky I have endless amounts of time to waste, trying to ask a simple question of a local business. Next, I send an email to KIts.ca, mentioning Kitisilano, saying I'm in Kitsilano, and asking my questions. Lo and behold, who do you think responds? None other than AI Amy, who advises me she has no idea what the answers are to my questions so I'll have to speak with someone in the shop!!! Is this a joke? April Fool's Day is over, people, so how about you stop your juvenile pranks and start providing actual customer service? Oh, and the kicker is, she asks me to let her know what location I'm interested in and would I like her to help me connect with that location? How many locations do you have in Kitsilano, Kits Cafe and Eyecare (or whatever you're called). Last time I checked, there was ONE!!! So what's all this nonsense about "which location"? No thanks, Amy AI, I'll do without glasses if your shop is the only option. Which it isn't. After all this time-wasting aggro I called another local optical shop and what a bizarre experience that was! They actually picked up the phone, answered my questions, and made an appointment for me for a free optometry exam. Lesson learned. Kits Cafe and Eyecare, you score a big fat 0/10!!! Congratulations!!!

I can't say enough good things about Prestige Optical. From the outside, it looks like a sleek,…read morehigh-end boutique--and it is--but don't let that intimidate you. The prices are totally fair, and the level of service is on another level. This isn't your cookie-cutter chain shop. It's personal, precise, and done with real care. I traveled all the way from Seattle just to get my glasses here, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Paul, the owner, is laser-focused on the tiniest details--literally down to the millimeter. He takes his work incredibly seriously and won't settle for anything less than perfection. No rushing, no upselling--just honest, thoughtful service and one-on-one attention. The kind of care you just don't get at the big chains. Also, major shoutout to Francesca, who works at the front. She's chill, mild-mannered, and absolutely genuine. Always smiling, always kind--and you can tell she truly loves what she does. In a world full of fake smiles and customer service scripts, Francesca is the real deal. A total gem. Turnaround time was faster than expected (especially for outsourced lenses), and communication was smooth the whole way through. The prescription sunglasses they made for me have seriously transformed my life--driving in bright summer light went from unbearable to totally manageable. I'm beyond grateful. If you're anywhere near Vancouver, do yourself a favor and come here. Prestige Optical is everything an optical boutique should be: honest, detail-obsessed, warm, and deeply human. I'll absolutely be back.
