There are literally dozens of weed stores between my house and Westmont, but my daughter recommended Curaleaf for its selection of CBD products to treat my cancer pain and chemo nausea. Unfortunately, my license expired during my most recent hospitalization. I was refused access with my 2-week out of date ID, even though I had 10 other forms of identification. With a smirk, the 'manager' suggested I could show my passport. Sure. I just returned from my international travels and have it in my back pocket. Checkin and greeters were very nice. It was my first time here so I don't know the setup. I'm standing in, I guess the line, very far from the counter like 3 meters. I hear some guy saying something but it sounded like someone's name. I realized he was gesturing to me. He had a snotty attitude and kept saying "you ready yet? You ready yet?" I walked up and the energy from this guy is flat. Mid transaction, he inexplicably leaves the counter with no explanation and I wait for about 6-7 minutes. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by two amazing people. Vince and Kallies. They both were so nice and welcoming. I hope I can see them again on my next visit. Ly was also great. She informed me edibles and the different affects of the cbd/thc. She has extensive knowledge on this topic and anything else I asked her. I've been meaning to leave a special review for Alex. This is the nicest person I've had the pleasure of meeting at Curaleaf and other dispensaries. He was patient, friendly, and overall had a really cool vibe to him. Used to shop here for concentrates until I had too many purchases that where stored upside down. Recently bought concentrate from them and sure enough - it was stored incorrectly. What makes me more upset is I reported to their customer service a month ago - THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED AT ALL - NOTHING! read more

Deplorable customer service Everything's great until it's not, and then you're on your own. Tough patooties. CS is a huge part of operating a business, especially when there's competition. They fail on even the most basic of levels. Problem ? They'll tell you contact them via their CS link on their web site...which they ignore for weeks on end until publicly called out for ignoring customer complaints. Enough said. If I could put 0 starts I would. On 2 separate occasions, I bought flower and the package was already opened with half of the contents missing. The first time this happened, I had to drive all the way back and tell them, which the manager told me to go across the street to Sight N Sound (a completely separate business, no affiliation with curaleaf) and have them weigh it for me, and explain what happened. Why would I do that? The manager told me to call the customer service hotline and explain what happened as it's the only way they could give me a refund. I did that, had to send pictures, and email them explaining what happened. The woman on the phone assured me that someone would me able to replace this at the curaleaf location. Sure enough, I came back, showed proof of emails, and they still didn't take it back. I was livid, and planned to never come back. They told me if it ever happened again to check the container in the parking lot as I can't check it at the counter, then turn around and come right back in before driving off. They would be able to replace it if I did that. Fast forward a few months later, it happened again- product opened and half of ingredients missing. They're lucky I even went back to this place. Why I did, not sure, as I would usually not. However, it happened again and I followed their instructions again. I checked it in the parking lot as I was walking out the door, saw it was open, came right back before going to my car, and the manager laughed at me and said he couldn't take it back. Didn't take me seriously at all. I told him I followed the instructions that were provided to me last time, and he didn't seem to care. Just laughed and smirked, thinking it was funny. Of course, I was beyond livid. I knew I wasn't going to get what I paid for. I'm spending well over $100 for these purchases and this is the outcome? All I get is "our employees won't ever take anything, blah blah blah. This is a trusted place." Really? Because the clearly it isn't. The **very next day** my friend goes there to get some product. She comes to my house, opened the bag, and the SAME THING! Opened product, half of the weed missing. She was also livid, but knowing from my experiences she didn't even try to tell them because she thought it was pointless and was too scared to say anything because she thought nobody would believe her. And that's a damn shame. And think about it, people can lie all the time just to get free stuff. Who is even going to believe someone at a weed dispensary? I feel it's hard to get others to believe this situation. But it happened 3 separate times!! This place should be shut down, I absolutely refuse to go here again. I didn't even know it was a huge liability of weed being tampered with at these establishments until I told my story to a few people. And that's really sad bc I did really liked this place, it's super close to my house, and it had really good deals. I want the world to know how absolutely horrendous it is for the employees to continue to take product with no consequences. And what sucks even more, is the other dispensaries I go to now, I have to ask them to show me the product is sealed and point it out to me before they even hand it over. And I feel super rude doing it. But I will never be ripped off again. 3 times at this place is too many for the package to be open and half the weed missing. 1 time is too many. Don't go here, unless you want your product missing and while paying full price without a refund. I will never forget this. read more

I have a couple issues with this place. I ordered online the other day and get to the place and the counter person charged me more then was on the receipt and what the order totaled online. I asked why and she told me the charge was an estimate. First off thats the first time ive heard that one and it was never different on prev orders. Even with using points( which is a nice thing) my bill was still more then on the receipt. My thought is they know exactly how much the bill is. How does that waiver in 3 hours from pulling the trigger and pick up. That is bad business and unethical. Charge what is totaled on the receipt AND online is how this works not some random number. read more

I had Lawrence help me and he was the Best, need help me for such a long time everything I picked has worked great just the way that it said. I'm very satisfied with my purchases. This place has so much potential. But alot of the bud tenders rush you into making quick purchases before you get the time to think. And even if you ordered online, they still try to mask a push as a suggestion. I got a bad pack of pre rolls. 5 mini ones. At one point they got squished. Some of the papers are torn or have rips in them. So that along with the flatness, its unable to draw from. And when I emptied one out to try and reroll it, its was dark brown and green and smelled bad. I shopped here so many times including telling my friends to go there and taking out of town friends when they visit. Its a shame I got burned. I wish the company/store could do something for me. I have been to this location about 5 or 6 times. Let's start with the parking situation. It is a mess. Good luck if you don't drive a Honda or a prius. It seems like there is always some kind of issue w the line to order and get your product. On one occasion I went in there and the system was down so Noone could check out. I see one guy get his weed and then all of a sudden the system is back down? Ok? Your computers all off a sudden miraculously turn back on for ten minutes and then shut back down? The guy in line was bitching and they must of got sick of it I guess. Another time there a saleswoman pulled me out of line for no reason while people were lining up getting there product. I am like wtf is going on. ? I ask another associate why am I being told to stay out of line? He says just go back in line and wait? After like 5 people go ahead of me? I don't know if they are too high on their own shit but y This place kinda sucks on the customer service end. And there seems to be an issue everytime I go inside. So unorganized. First off, they send you a text message with their phone number that says to call if you have any questions. But no one answers that number. And when I went there, they confirmed that no one answers that number. WHY HAVE YOU BEEN TELLING PEOPLE TO WASTE THEIR TIME AND CALL IT FOR HELP THEN?? You never know if the person ringing you up is going to give you the deals that are advertised on the website or if you have to tell them to do so. Different people have different rules on applying multiple discounts. Never know what you're going to get. So frustrating and annoying. read more

I've been a few times and experience and products have been fine. But once something goes wrong...it goes horribly wrong. I bought a cartridge that was leaking. I immediately notified the store and they gave me instructions on how to report it. I followed them to the letter, attaching receipts, pictures of packaging and product. Then you wait and wait. When you send them an email for status it is ignored. Seemed strange until they informed me that every time you send a follow up email your issue goes to the back of the line. What?? But that's their policy. After about a month I got a reply back that said they want a video of me smoking the cartridge. I told them they must be high and they closed my complaint without resolution. Been going for over 2 years and never had an issue until today. The lady cashier was confrontational out of the get go, I misheard her say hello and thought she said online order or in store. Second. I have 40$ in cash and my total is 50$. I told her to use debit card for the remaining balance and she says her machine is broken and to use atm. I ask, are all debit card scanners broken? She says no, so I say "can someone else check me out" she said atm is the same thing. Which isn't true. How does she know the amount of money I have? Would my account have enough for a 23.50$ withdraw? No? But my account had the 13.50$ that the remaining balance was with the 3.50$ charge fee included. So you get into an altercation with me and get another customer to talk badly of me with you? While I waited in line embarrassed?? Pathetic customer service. Lost my business. You guys hire punk kids who made a customer leave completely embarrassed... when my card would've declined from atm. The dispensary itself is nice, the selection is good, and the promotions keep you coming back since it's a bit pricey. Otherwise, would be a 1. Unfortunately, the staff are playing mask theater. I've been there several times and either some cashiers or ID scanner guy will have it under their nose. Or the security guy will be wearing it as a chin diaper outside near the door. Obviously, they require to mask, but then demand you to pull it down with your fingers to check your ID. Anyone in the medical field will tell you as soon as you touch your mask with bare hands, it's dirty; becoming possibly harmful to oneself at that point. Even fiddling with the ear loops themselves while trying not to touch the mask part, still poses a risk and is not a recognized sterile method anywhere. The least they could do is provide some latex gloves for people, if such is your demand. The security guard tried to say these are "governor's rules to pull your mask down", when there's no such thing at the time of writing this in Dec 2021. No serious medical establishment would provide such guidance to the governor so no need to insult our intelligence. I am a medical student and have been trained in proper use and purpose of surgical masks prior to entering the operating theater. Later, the manager began demonstratively pulling his mask back and forth to show a point. You can do as you wish with YOURS, but maybe extend that curtesy to the customers too?. Instead of telling me to go to my car or the Walgreens next door for a glove. Acting as if my only request wasn't for a sterile option to pull the mask down to abide to proper mask use, when you choose to demand people to come in contact with what's supposed to be a sterile mask. I either had to contaminate my expensive N95 mask and or get out. Whilst, the store is constantly flooded with people with contaminated and dirty masks all day long. Theater. read more

I wish that this dispensary was consistent as they are convenient and the staff friendly. That said, they are not consistent in how they sell RSO. If this product is of interest to you, beware that Curaleaf varies in what they will allow you to purchase each visit. My first visit I was allowed to purchase two .5 RSO (Mag Landrace) along with 3 other products. Since then, they will not allow you to purchase anything other than 1 RSO and 1 at one time. I have a completely different experience at other dispensaries as well. What is worse is that Curaleaf doesn't contact you beforehand if there is an issue with your order. They wait until you arrive to pickup to inform you. Given the inconsistency and lack of good customer service, I would recommend other dispensaries in lieu of this one. I GOT RIPPED-OFF AT CURALEAF! There was an online promotion for a pre-roll for $0.99 when you make a purchase of a certain amount. I added a pre-roll to my order, but it said it was $16. When I arrived to pick-up my order, I brought this to the attention of the cashier, who agreed it should be $0.99. He said he would make the adjustment. When I got home, I saw he did not make the adjustment--he lied to me. I went to the "Contact Us" section of the Curaleaf website TWICE now to complain and I have not received a response. read more

I have been coming to this dispensary for about a year as it is close to my house. Haven't had too many bad experiences other than the occasional employee with a bad attitude. Usually they have some pretty good products. I bought something that turned out to be a little more pricey than it was advertised on the site. I was excited to try something new, but the cashier gave me so much attitude when all I was trying to do was understand the product that was not advertised correctly and more expensive than it was originally listed. Very excited to try the product but that encounter with that employee left a sour taste in my mouth. And unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened with this employee. Probably won't come back, I shouldn't have to fear buying something from someone who is going to make me feel bad spending over 100$ here weekly! read more

I have gone to this location several times. 1st time... AMAZING. 2nd time... people were nice, but a waste of money, nothing was effective. This time, 2 women were terrible, one of them were named Kathy. Didn't know the products, walked away with my cell phone and kept interrupting me when I was asking questions. I guess she thought she was a physic and could predict what I was going to ask. I just stopped talking. When she was done I just said thanks, I'll comeback.
