Although the shop is small, there is a large variety of items for all Divine 9 sororities and fraternities, as well as other black business & social organizations. Black Leaders Detroit was doing a $50 gift certificate Black Friday giveaway which could be used at Tauntus Greek Store. Shop employees were stationed throughout the very busy store, helping customers, and checking people out via mobile phone. I definitely plan on checking out Tauntus Greek Store wherever I'm in Detroit.

They are owned by two members of the Divine Nine Greek organizations. It can be difficult to find items for gift purchases or that special item for your next affair. Search no further! Dorian greeted me immediately. He is very friendly, polite, and welcoming. The store is clean, well organized, and has a great selection. I've enjoyed shopping and donating at this location. Very glad we did! They're decorated for the holidays and had a large amount of holiday-themed housewares and all manner of fun kitsch, and we found a wreath (with mini-lights and music) that we had to have. The space is noticeably bigger than their previous one, which gives them more staging area and space to offer larger pieces of furniture, artwork, and clothing in addition to all the unique goodies they already carried within the store that are smaller scale. Everything here is extremely pricey, which is unfortunate for me given that there are many things I love from here, but I just simply can't justify spending exorbitant amounts of money on these sorts of homegoods and accessories too often. The products they carry are definitely geared towards the more affluent and those with lofty home design ideas, as they also have fabric samples and the like to help you design and customize your furniture and upholstery upon them in the back of the store too. The price tags make sense in the sense that I have not seen any of the products they offer in any other stores in the metro Detroit area, so there's nothing to compare their goods to. This is a great place to window shop or stop in to get inspiration for your home and to pick up a unique piece or two. I'm still thinking about the tatted up Albert Einstein piece of artwork (included in the photos!), which I love so much, but even just the print of it without it framed was already $70-80 and that's a hard price to justify even for hot Albert Einstein! I like how every time I stop in to Talulah Belle, there's always new discoveries to be had. They clearly refresh their stock frequently and it's always great to stop in here for inspiration and intentionally unique gifts for the loved ones in your life...including yourself!

They stared at us, didn't speak. Multiple people walked in and were greeted right after us. We tested it to go look by the objects that were by the workers and they still stare at us with no smile.
